Who played Elder Furu in the new season and what was the finale like?
Boyard's first broadcast took place back in 1990, the participants were on a special Fort that Napoleon built. As the legend says, Elder Fura collected and stored gold in a chest for 200 years. He hid it in the treasury of the fortress, all that remains is to find out which of the participants will get to the treasure first.
One of the tasks is to guess the riddle of Elder Fura, so one of the participants is sent to the tower to give the correct answer. In the new season of Fort Boyar, Elder Furu is played by Olivier Siou. This is a famous French actor who easily managed to get into the role.
On November 15, 2021, the final episode of the Fort Boyard show was released. After exhausting tests of ingenuity and endurance, some still managed to find the keys, use the clues correctly and finally achieve the most important goal - to take all the gold for themselves.
The main characters of the latest issue were blogger Yang Ge, Artem Korolev, Pyotr Romanov, Maria Weber and Aristarchus Venes.

A surge of adrenaline, excitement and excitement awaited TV viewers in the Fort Boyard game.
According to legend, for 200 years the evil sorcerer Fura took money from people through deception and witchcraft and hid it in the old Fort. Twenty years ago, people managed to cast a spell on him and get the opportunity to get their money back. But the cunning Fura managed to hide the keys to the treasury in rooms with traps. Now only a very courageous person can get to the money.
Fort Boyard is an ancient fortress built for military purposes. The fort, which very quickly lost its strategic importance, turned into a prison. Prussian and Austrian soldiers captured during the 1870 war were originally held here. They were replaced by political prisoners. In total, the fort housed about 300 prisoners. Subsequently, the fort languished in obscurity for decades, falling into ever greater decline and destruction. And who knows the future fate of the fortress if French television had not become interested in it in the mid-eighties. The fort has become the most unusual television site in the world. And the television game “Fort Boyard,” which has been filmed here since 1990, has become the most famous and popular game show on world television.
We again saw the unchanged inhabitants of the Fort. The colorful character La-Bule appeared in the Fort in 1994, and since then he has been marking the beginning and end of the game by striking a ringing gong, and also escorting captured players to their place of imprisonment. Passepartout has always been with the teams since 1990, he knows every nook and cranny of the fort and does an excellent job as a guide. Tiger tamer Felindra, along with her ferocious predators, has been guarding the fort's treasury since 1991.
“Fort Boyard” is one of the legendary projects, well known to each of us. And today it is becoming relevant again, reflecting the spirit of the times - we are playing more and more games, from paintball on the street to “Angry Birds” on the tablet screen, we are entering the period of the “playing person”. And “Fort Boyard” corresponds very well to this, with a spirit of adventure, new challenges and exciting rules,” says project producer Ilya Krivitsky.
Six teams of daredevils went to the French city of La Rochelle, and from there by water to the fortress for the gold of Elder Four. The teams include actors, TV presenters, and show business stars. To win, teams have to show dexterity, courage, strength, and sometimes cunning. The teams will learn about the nature of the tests as the game progresses.
Game scheme: first, each two teams oppose each other in order to advance to the next stage. Only four of the six teams continue on and meet in the semi-finals. Then the strongest will sort things out in the finale, but only the winner will take away the treasures from the fort’s treasury, and the rest will leave with nothing.
Each team completed five tests and earned up to seven keys to unlock the treasury gates. Keys were obtained by completing tasks for strength, ingenuity, dexterity, or by guessing the riddles of Elder Fur. In addition to the keys, the participants collected clues, which meant three more tests for each team. If the player completing the task did not manage to leave the cell before the time expired, then the door was locked and the player became a prisoner. At the end of the game, the team gathered at the gates of the treasury.
The ordeals the participants went through were difficult and often tortured. And although it is absolutely safe, and doctors are on duty during filming in the fort and are ready to instantly help, some of the competitions still caused horror not only among the spectators. Yulia Savicheva, no matter how hard she tried, could not overcome her fear - a panicky fear of spiders. The captain urgently had to look for a replacement for her.
“I’m generally afraid of all kinds of insects. Centipedes, cockroaches, spiders. I could probably overcome this fear if I knew that no one would fall on top of me and then crawl all over me,” the singer shared.
But already in the next competition, Yulia completely rehabilitated herself. In the Curse of Archimedes test, the participant is placed upside down in a cylinder filled with water. He needs to somehow pump out the water, which his partner collects in a glass and pours into another container that contains the key. The more water, the higher the spring rises. Yulia Savicheva impressed the team with her endurance. She stayed under water for so long that the presenters and participants began to worry about her.
Yulia Savicheva: “Vocalists have developed lungs, I can hold my breath for a long time under water. I didn’t worry about anything in this competition!”
And the singer Gluk'oZe had to literally wallow in the mud - her lot fell to take part in fights without rules and fight with a partner twice her size.
Gluk`oZa: “On the one hand, it was very scary. It seemed unreal and impossible. The most difficult thing is not to physically overcome this citizen, but to rise and stand in this mud. It took me more strength to get out of this mud. You drown in it, it gets into your nose, ears, mouth. Afterwards I tried for a long time to wash myself away from her, but I had to keep running and playing!”
“Threads of Fate”, “Chained Alive”, “Prison Air”, “Hammer of the Witches”, “Throne of Lucifer”, “Sinister Fishing”, “Punishing Fountain” - all these tests were passed by the participants of “Fort Boyard”.

How Buzova prayed to God
The creators of the revived “Fort Boyard” decided to play their trump cards in the first issue and show the team with Olga Buzova. She was accompanied by dancer Evgeniy Papunaishvili, who had already conquered the fort in 2013, and participants in STS projects: the host of the “Simply Kitchen” program Alexander Belkovich, the host of the “Horns in the City” program Alexander Rogov and the actress from the TV series “Kitchen” Ekaterina Kuznetsova. But the central character still remained the performer of the hit “Voditsa”, who turned every test that befell her into a performance with off-scale passions and viral potential.
First, Buzova was sent to a telephone booth to talk with Elder Fura. His role in the new season is played by actor Olivier Siou, who was born in France, but is actively filming in Russia. The singer had to guess his riddle while flies hovered around her and insects fell from above. Even before entering her cell, the former host of the “House 2” project began to violently express her emotions: she screamed, swore, burst into tears, crossed herself, crossed her arms, as in the video for her song “Few Halves.” But all this cannot be compared with what happened to Buzova during the test.
As soon as the singer was in the booth and the cockroaches fell on her, she screamed heart-rendingly and literally shook. Judging by the reaction of the other participants, who looked at each other outside the door with embarrassed smiles, they did not expect such an outburst of emotions. Buzova did not last long. A few seconds later, muttering “sorry” mixed with sobs and screams, she crawled out of the booth towards the door, opening which, one of the players accidentally hit Olga on the forehead. Red, wet from tears and sweat, she practically sobbed in the arms of her teammates who were trying to calm her down.

In the next test, Buzova moaned, confusing viewers who doubted that they had actually turned on an adventure TV show. While the singer was being swung over the courtyard of the fort so that she could get the code to the box with the key, she managed to turn to God, telling him that she would definitely be able to complete the task. Apparently, this worked, because already in the next frame Buzova reached for the treasured capsule.
Olga had to turn to faith again when she went down into a basement filled with snakes. At the sight of so many reptiles, Buzova’s face contorted several times, but with shaking hands she continued to turn them over in search of the code. This time the singer managed to complete the test, and to the triumphant music she climbed out of the hatch, immediately falling into the arms of one of her teammates.

Against the backdrop of Buzova’s hurricane of emotions, the performances of other participants looked far from so exciting. Rogov quite calmly moved along thin ledges along the steep wall of the fort, Belkovich quickly and accurately carried out the task in the flooded chamber with snakes, and Kuznetsova and Papunaishvili silently walked along high-stretched ropes, holding on to each other.
True, Buzova managed to increase the intensity of passions here too. She almost never remained indifferent to anything: from prayers, sighs and screams of horror, she almost instantly moved on to directing the actions of other participants. Other players tried to match her frantic temperament, but were clearly losing to her.
At the end of the episode, it turned out that the singer’s efforts were not in vain. “In fact, we confirm the fact that Buzova is real. She is real, with her fears, which she overcame,” Rogov said at the end of the issue, as if confirming that the first episode was conceived primarily as an issue about Buzova.
Tests: complete list
At the very beginning of history "Fort Bayar" the game consisted almost entirely of challenges, success of which allowed the team to obtain keys that would open chests of gold. But even today, when several more stages have been added to the tests, they are still the cornerstone of the program and fully live up to their name: by completing tricky tasks, players really have to test themselves - their strength, their dexterity, their intelligence, and, most of all, most importantly, your will to win, without which it is impossible to achieve success in any endeavor.1. 4 things (1990) | 74.
