New Year's parties for children were decided to be held without parents due to COVID

“Ensuring the safety of children in the context of the spread of coronavirus infection is one of the main tasks facing every school,” the press service of the Department of Education told MK. “Therefore, matinees, performances, as well as theatrical performances for students and preschool children in institutions are organized without the presence of parents.

The department explained that mothers and fathers will see children's parties remotely - the educational institution will provide them with video recordings of the event or provide the possibility of an online broadcast.

In the capital's schools, as we found out, this scenario did not come as a surprise. The teachers were ready for this.

– We can say for sure that we will have a concert – both in school and preschool departments. – said the administration of school No. 1413. – The guys will prepare the performances themselves. And if last year they recorded their performances at home, now - since we were not forced to work remotely - we will try to record them in the hall. There will be songs, poems, and even dances.

The institution clarified that the performances will be edited into one video and the resulting video concert will be posted by the school on social networks.

– If for the New Year we usually all gathered in the common room, then this year the children will celebrate the holiday with their teachers in parallel, or even each in their own class.

– Will class parent committees or the school give gifts to children?

- No, no purchased gifts. This is currently not recommended by management due to the danger of coronavirus. But making a craft with your own hands is not prohibited for a friend, a friend, or a teacher. For example, you can cut out a snowflake and write wishes on it.

But at school No. 1573 they prepared two versions of the holiday for the New Year. Depending on how events with the coronavirus turn out, either “Plan A” or “Plan B” will be implemented.

– One option is to hold congratulations in each class (at different times). Students will prepare creative performances and will be congratulated by Father Frost and Snow Maiden. We will offer them a game program, and give high school students the opportunity to plunge into the past and remember the history of the New Year celebration. – said the teacher-organizer and music teacher of the school Olga Kazakova. – If it is impossible to celebrate the holiday in the classroom, in this case there is a second option - to film a performance in the musical genre in our assembly hall. This will be a whole New Year's film. Individual children will participate.

– And if you still hold the holiday in classrooms, will you broadcast live?

– No, we decided not to do this, because each class has different technical equipment. In addition, when the broadcast is on, not all the children are included in the frame, and it is important for every parent to see their child! But we will invite a professional operator who will do everything at the highest level.

“It is very important that the schoolchild takes part in the holiday in person in the New Year, and not just watch a video recorded by someone,” family psychologist Maryana Razumovskaya told MK. – Otherwise, the child (especially if he is of preschool or primary school age) may experience prolonged depression. After all, for kids, the New Year is magic, it’s a psycho-emotional charge for the whole next year! Subconsciously, the child programs himself: as the holiday approaches, the year will pass.

– That is, if he does not take part in the holiday, will this affect his psychological well-being?

- Exactly right. And even while studying. Therefore, I urge parents to convince their children to take part in the video recording of the concert if the school offers such an option. Let him recite a poem, sing a song, and congratulate his beloved teacher! And then be sure to watch this video together, discuss it with your child - share your emotions. Then the child will have at least some feeling of a holiday.

New Year for teenagers

Organizing New Year's Eve for teenagers is a particularly difficult task. On the one hand, teenagers are usually offended if they are considered small, and it is impossible to offer them children’s competitions and fun. On the other hand, teenagers still haven’t grown up enough to celebrate “like adults.” How to spend the New Year for teenagers?

If you are faced with the question of organizing a New Year's Eve party for teenagers , then you will have to take care of several basic organizational issues:

  • choose a place for the holiday;
  • approve the holiday menu;
  • organize an entertainment program;
  • worry about gifts.

If you plan to celebrate the New Year for teenagers collectively , for example, with the whole class or even a whole group, then, of course, you first need to take care of choosing a suitable place for the celebration. Schools often do not allow any holidays to be held (the official and formal part does not count), and therefore the New Year will most likely need to be celebrated somewhere “on the side.”

If there are a sufficient number of participants in the celebration and appropriate financial capabilities, you can order a banquet hall in a cafe or restaurant to celebrate the New Year . If there are few participants in the celebration, then it will be enough to book just a few tables, for example, in a nightclub. New Year for teenagers can also be spent at a recreation center outside the city.

Organizing a New Year's Eve celebration for teenagers is a huge responsibility , and the accompaniment of several adults is simply necessary. After all, it is necessary to ensure that no organizational “misfires” arise, and that teenagers do not “go astray.” True, teenagers usually object to the presence of adults at New Year's celebrations, but we must still try to find a compromise.

On New Year's Eve, teenagers need to think carefully about the menu : it should be both tasty and varied. At the same time, it is not recommended to set a rich table, because teenagers who have eaten too much will be lethargic and inert, and the holiday may turn out to be boring. New Year's Eve for teenagers is, perhaps, exactly the case where a light buffet table would be much more appropriate.

As for drinks, the issue of alcohol is always very acute . Of course, if the New Year for teenagers is organized by teachers and everything is, so to speak, official, then there can be no talk of any alcohol. However, sometimes parents of teenage classmates, when organizing the New Year for their children, allow them some light wine or champagne. And yet, alcohol at a teenage party is not the best choice .

An entertainment program for celebrating the New Year for teenagers is a major headache. The scenario for the New Year should not be too “childish”, but you should not choose too “adult” fun for the holiday. If possible, it is worth using the services of specialized agencies.

If you don’t have time to find an agency or you don’t have the finances to order such services, then you’ll have to come up with an entertainment program for the New Year for teenagers on your own. It would be nice to involve teenagers themselves .

For example, you can organize a theme evening . This could be a holiday in the spirit of “New Year’s Express,” when everyone present is invited to plunge into the atmosphere of a magical New Year’s journey around the world. Even in the year of the Black Water Dragon, you can hold a New Year's party in oriental style: Chinese, Japanese.

Hollywood-themed party will make teenagers feel like real stars, and a Twilight themed party with vampires, ghouls and witches can be a blast for teenagers. The main thing when choosing a theme for the New Year's celebration is to consult with teenagers and find out more about their preferences.

New Year for teenagers cannot do without gifts . Traditional sweet gifts may seem too “offensive” to teenagers - they are no longer children. But it will most likely be quite expensive to chip in for any “serious” expensive gifts. Well, you can always make gift giving fun and interesting, so that even a small souvenir will become a real treasure.

Teenagers always want to look older and “cooler,” and therefore the idea of celebrating the New Year with a group is often met with hostility. But in fact, at heart, teenagers are still the same children and still dream of a fairy tale. Give them the magic of a New Year's fairy tale!

TOP 5 ways to celebrate the New Year with classmates

Classmates are people with whom we spend six days a week out of seven for eleven years. During this time, many of them become close friends and girlfriends. And of course, you always want to celebrate the New Year not only with your relatives or best friends, but also with your class. “New Era” has collected the TOP 5 ways to celebrate the New Year for the class.

Play Secret Santa

The game "Secret Santa" consists of writing the names of the children from the class on pieces of paper, then everyone draws one name. Before the start of the New Year holidays, you must give a gift to the person whose name you pulled out, maybe more than one. But you need to give gifts in such a way that the one to whom you are giving does not know from whom he is receiving congratulations. This secret can only be revealed after the end of the game.

We are already in 11th grade and this is how we decided to congratulate each other this year.

– I suggested the game “Secret Santa” in our class, and everyone happily agreed. She suggested it because not everyone is in the New Year’s mood, and the New Year is a time of magic, so I wanted to bring this magic closer with small gifts, especially in the 11th grade, when thoughts are only about exams. I was not afraid that the idea would be rejected, because we have positive, creative and creative people in our class, and I knew that they would agree,” shared Daria Dorofeeva, who was the initiator of “Secret Santa”.

Trip to the cottage

A snow-covered forest, the smell of smoke from a bathhouse, songs with a guitar while sitting on the floor and watching movies with classmates... What could be better? All this can be obtained if you go to celebrate the New Year in the cottage, with the class, parents and class teacher. Firstly, a decorated house, a decorated large Christmas tree, meat fried on a fire, and cozy gatherings create a festive mood. Secondly, there is a lot of space in the cottage for such a large crowd; you can watch a movie, sing with a guitar, or just chat together about everything in the world.

Our class went to a country camp or cottage for several years in a row. We went ice skating, on bagels, our boys grilled barbecue themselves, we played sports games, organized New Year's competitions, our parents and class teacher led round dances and went down the slides with us. It was an unforgettable New Year celebration!

Party in New Year's class

For younger children, a cottage is not the most suitable option. In this case, all the guys together decorate their office: stick snowflakes on the window, hang tinsel. Then they come up with a script, competitions, dress up in New Year’s costumes or just dress up beautifully; Parents and teachers can help them in all this. And on one of the December evenings, the guys organize their own holiday: they play a lot, give each other gifts, sing, read poetry, and just fool around. You definitely need to drink delicious tea with sweets. This also gives a New Year’s mood, because for children from first to seventh grade, celebrating the New Year at school is safer and more convenient, and no less fun.

New Year's flash mob

Do you want to give a holiday not only to your class, but to the whole school? Then on the last day of school before the New Year holidays, bring tinsel, New Year's hats, headbands, masks to school - everything, everything that you have, dress up and go like this every break, congratulate everyone on the upcoming holiday, people will be pleased, and this will make you even happier will unite and have fun. You can learn some New Year's song or dance and perform your holiday number on one of the floors during one of the breaks - I'm sure all the students and teachers will come to watch, and some will even join.

At the end of this crazy day, have a tea party, give each other gifts, say the nicest words, most importantly, don’t forget to congratulate your cool mom.

Go somewhere

If school and the cottage are boring for you, and you don’t want to bother about gifts and flash mobs, then we have method No. 5 for you. Choose an activity in your city that everyone in your class will enjoy. For example, you can go bowling - it’s relaxing and very fun. A good option is to go to the cinema to watch some New Year's comedy: you will laugh heartily, and you will be in a New Year's mood, if you suddenly don't have one.

After all the entertainment, you can take a friendly company - the whole class - for a walk around the evening New Year's city, just don't freeze and don't walk until late!

These were our five ways to celebrate the New Year with the class, and you can tell us about your methods in our VKontakte group.
