Chapter: When is Semyon’s birthday?
Read my advice. If you have a small kitten, be sure to write down at least the year of birth in a notebook, and come up with a date.
After all, a pet should have its own holiday. We will give him gifts. He is almost a member of the family, even a favorite.
What if the cat gets sick? The veterinarian will ask: “How old is your pet? We need to correctly calculate the medications and get the vaccinations!”
─ We don’t know! We found him on the street. Maybe he is two, or maybe three years old.
Unfortunately, we also did not record the date of birth of the pet. And all evening we remembered when Semyon appeared with us.
On this day, our dad saved him from the boys, and Nastya brought him home.
He looked to be about one month old. And we fed the baby with warm milk.
Then, a few days later, the eldest son arrived from the army. We all remember this date. We waited for Dmitry for a whole year.
He had a summons for July 11, my birthday. And he was supposed to return on my birthday too.
This is the surprise I received from the city military registration and enlistment office. There are such coincidences! And the eldest son arrived a little later than this significant date.
A contract colleague had a day off that day, so he himself brought our dear soldier in a brand new and beautiful Kia car. Then the guys were friends for a long time.
The main owner of the cat made an important decision: “Let Semyon have a birthday on July 14. 2013."
Why a cat is not just a pet
Once upon a time, cats were predatory and unapproachable, but after their domestication even before our era - 9500 years ago - a lot has changed! Today cats are the most popular pets and they are much more popular than dogs. According to statistics, more than 30 million cats live in Russian families - we rank third in the number of these purring animals in the world. And all because cats are unpretentious, they love to spend time on their own, but at the same time they are always ready to give warmth and affection to their owner. Research shows that interacting with cats can relieve physical tension, stress and improve health, including psychological health. A cat can provide emotional support to people suffering from depression, anxiety and loneliness.
It is also known that cats can relieve the owner’s physical pain - the normal body temperature of adult cats is from 37.5 to 38.9 ° C, so they are real “hot water bottles” for humans. You've probably noticed more than once that the cat itself determines where it hurts and applies its body to the source of the discomfort. Also, if a cat licks or fiddles with your ear, this is how she heals. The fact is that there are many acupuncture points on the auricle. By acting on them, a cat can prevent a heart attack or nervous breakdown.
Moreover, doctors from the Berlin Institute have proven that animal owners (including cats) live on average 10 years longer than people without pets.
Gift for cat Semyon
I specifically went to the store to look for a gift for my pet. I saw inexpensive cat food and bought it in different flavors.
At home I put the bags in a beautiful box. My daughter was glad that now she doesn’t have to think long about what to feed the cat.
One bag contains ready-made meat pieces with jelly and vitamins. Semyon also appreciated the gift.
While eating, he purred loudly with pleasure.

Happy birthday, cat! 6 ways to celebrate your cat's birthday

Technologist's advice
1. Make holiday caps.
Cats are beautiful in their own right. But as soon as you put a tiny birthday hat on your favorite cat, his “cuteness” will simply go off scale! Making such a cap is easy. Stock up on thick cardboard, brightly colored wrapping paper, fun pom-poms and tinsel. And don’t forget to take a photo of all this beauty before the cat mercilessly destroys it. You can glue a second cap of the same type for yourself - then the prize for the best family look will be yours.
2. Give the cat a “coming of age”… with valerian or catnip.
No, you don't have to give him water. Just the scent is enough. You can buy special herbal sticks for cats or sew fresh leaves into a fabric bag. The main thing is to start with a small amount of the plant to see how it reacts.
3. Choose the perfect birthday gift for your cat.
Pet stores offer hundreds of different cat toys. Finding something your pet will like will not be difficult. Whether your cat likes active games or just cuddles with something, a birthday is the best reason for a new thing.
4. Prepare a birthday cake for your cat.
How to do it? You can use a ready-made recipe. Or come up with your own cake using your cat’s favorite foods. And to make your meal more fun, treat yourself to a themed dessert (we have just the right recipe for “Cat” cake).
5. Pamper yourself throughout the day.
On her birthday, the cat deserves to be “spoiled” a little. Make him feel loved all day long. For example, allow you to climb into places where it was previously impossible (just remove fragile things). Lay down a new blanket. Open the curtains wider for such pleasant sunbathing. And, of course, take your pet in your arms more often.
Perhaps the best way to let your cat know that he is loved is to play with him. Start your cat's birthday with a fun game - and it will be memorable for both of you!

Greetings dear readers to my channel ♥
I think those who truly love their cats will agree with me that these fluffy little ones are more than just a pet. They deserve love and attention just like a human child.
Cats deserve to have their birthday celebrated! Many of us want to give them a truly wonderful holiday. Now I will tell you about ways to throw a cat birthday party where you will truly have fun!
1. Buy some catnip.
What's your cat's option for a few glasses of champagne? Head to the pet store and pick up a bunch of fun toys for the cats to have fun with. You too will have fun watching the cat run around like the Energizer Bunny.
2. Prepare extra treats.
Like any other animal, cats love to eat. The perfect time to spoil your cat is on his birthday! Go to the store and buy their favorite treats and then give them to your cat throughout the day. Just don't overdo it—you don't want your cat to get sick.
3. Buy fun toys to make your cat jump.
I have four cats and their favorite thing to do is play with a toy that makes them run, catch and chase. Your cat will really appreciate this.
4. Invite friends who also like cats, but don't invite other cats.
If you want your cat's birthday party to be a success, you'll need to invite a few more people besides yourself and those you live with. Invite your friends who also love cats. Just don't invite other cats. Unlike dogs, cats are not very fond of meeting friends, and if you invite other cats, a fight may break out.
5. Bake a treat in the shape of a cat.
Since you're inviting other people, you need something that people can eat. Your cat isn't the only one who gets extra treats at this party! Bake a cat-shaped cake or simply order cat-shaped treats online.
6. Make everyone wear headbands with cat ears.
You clearly have a common theme (cats, obviously), so you need to get everyone involved. To do this, hand out headbands with cat ears to everyone who passes by. They are adorable!
7. Create games for people.
You may have catnip and toys for your cat, but you'll also need something for your guests. You can try Pin the Tail on the Cat, which is a fun spin game, or fill the cat piñata for even more fun.
8. Place empty boxes everywhere.
Sometimes when you go to the pet store and spend a lot of money on expensive toys, but the cat ignores them? Then your cat just wants to play with the toilet paper roll or sit in the box. So, create a little “jungle gym” by placing empty boxes everywhere. Your cat will love it. Moreover, we know the fact that cats really love boxes and everything connected with them!
9. Buy cat-themed jewelry.
It wouldn't be a birthday party without decorations, and luckily there are plenty of cat themed decorations to choose from. Use balloons, ribbons and plates for cats. You can also hang adorable photos of the guest of honor throughout your home.
10. Ask for donations instead of gifts.
If you invite other people to the party, don't ask them to bring a gift for your cat. Instead, give them the opportunity to donate to a charity, such as a local shelter that needs help. This is a great way to turn a party into something useful.
11. Hand out cute souvenirs to your guests.
Anyone who was nice enough to attend your cat's birthday deserves a gift. Give them away in cute cat boxes. You can also make little treat bags for any guest who has a cat of their own.
I, of course, understand that our country does not treat pets as well as America or other countries. But if you truly love your pet, give him a birthday that he and you will remember. What better way to spend such a special day with your cat?
Thank you very much for your attention!

history of the holiday
International Cat Day is a relatively new holiday. If World Animal Day was established back in 1931, the idea to celebrate Meowing Pet Day appeared only in 2002 thanks to the International Fund for Animal Welfare. August 8 was chosen as the date of the new holiday .
Since then, it has been celebrated in dozens of countries around the world. Interestingly, in some countries there are national holidays dedicated to cats, which fall on completely different days. For example, in Russia Cat Day is celebrated on March 1, because a meowing animal is associated with the arrival of spring; in the USA this day is celebrated on October 29, and in Japan on February 22. In Italy, only black cats are celebrated; their day is November 17, but all cats, without exception, can take part in the cat parade, which takes place on the second Sunday of May every three years in the Belgian town of Ypres.
On International Cat Day, animal shelters hold exhibitions where you can take your favorite kitten home for free, veterinary clinics host master classes on caring for cats, animal welfare funds hold charity events, and cat owners post photos with their pets on social networks.
Cat paraphernalia
Type “cat party supplies” into the search field and you will see how many interesting accessories, souvenirs and home decorations you can buy for your pet’s birthday. To arouse the admiration of cat lovers, just paper plates with pictures of cute fluffies are enough. But to achieve a greater effect, make not only beautiful invitations, but also decorate the table, hang streamer garlands on the walls and buy holiday caps. Don't forget to buy a special hat for the birthday girl!
You can buy home decorations indicating the age of the hero of the day. Take a stroll through your local party store to pick out some adorable decorations for your little one's first birthday. After all, she is like a baby to you! The same paraphernalia can be purchased for subsequent anniversaries, for example, for five and ten years.
