Hello, dear readers!
Traditionally, in Russian schools on the final days of May, the last school bell rings. A beautiful holiday, an important day for graduating students who are saying goodbye to school and heading into adulthood.
Russians are actively interested in whether there will be a last call in 2021. When will it ring, and will parents be allowed to attend?
Balloon decorations for the hall
Balloons are a universal decor that can be used to transform any room and set a festive mood.
Balloon panel
To create a real picture or background from inflatable balls you will need: multi-colored balls, garden net, cardboard.
First you need to learn how to make balls of the same size so that the finished panel looks neat. For this you will need cardboard. Cut a round hole of the required diameter in it. If you need to use several sizes of balls, then make the required number of cardboard stencils. Later, when you inflate the balloons, you can check their volume using the hole.
The next step is to stretch the mesh between the posts. We recommend that you do not immediately attach the mesh to the wall where the panel will hang, so that you have open access to the back surface of the mesh. This will make your work easier.
Now start attaching the balls to the net. The pattern can be anything. If you have very little time, you can not bother yourself and make a simple plain or multi-colored background panel. But we advise you to start creating such a decoration in advance and create an inscription or drawing from the balls. You can post the year you graduated from school or the bell, make a congratulatory inscription “Goodbye school!”
Figured decor
You can make a variety of shapes from balloons to decorate walls, windows or a hall stage. The simplest example is a flower with four petals.
To do this, first inflate two balloons and tie them together so that their tails touch. Next, inflate two more balloons of the same size and repeat the manipulation. Fold the finished parts crosswise and secure with tape or thread.
Finally, inflate a small balloon of a different contrasting color and secure it in the middle of the “flower.”
Arch
The easiest way is to make an arch from balloons filled with helium. To work, you will need a braid on which you will attach the balls and the balls themselves.
Just inflate the balloons and secure them to the tape at a distance of 15-35 centimeters from each other. In the gaps, you can additionally attach small diameter balls that will fill the voids. Due to the fact that the helium will lift the balls up, the arch will form on its own. You will only need to secure the ends of the tape to the floor.
We also suggest making a simple arch of balloons filled with simple air to decorate the hall. It is convenient to use fishing line as a base. First you need to make the details of the “four” by analogy with how we made the flower figure. These details can be one color or several. If you make the “fours” multi-colored, then when constructing the arch it is important to follow the pattern and turn the elements the correct way so that you get a continuous color spiral.
Attach the modules one by one to the fishing line. For ease of use, stretch the fishing line between two objects, such as chairs.
Columns of balloons
If you have columns in your assembly hall, you can also decorate them with balloons. To do this, you need to make a garland of balloons and wrap it around the column.
Balls on the ceiling
If the height of the ceilings in the assembly hall is at least 3 meters, but no more than 3.5-4 meters, then you can decorate it with helium balloons. Why exactly these numbers? With low ceilings, additional decor will eat up the already limited space, and if there are too high ceilings, the decor will simply go unnoticed.
So, to decorate the ceiling, you just need to inflate the balloons with helium, tie them with long, presentable ribbons so that they fall beautifully, and release the balloons in a chaotic manner so that they “stick” to the ceiling.
Decorating the classroom for the New Year
The New Year holiday is traditionally the most elegant. Christmas trees, snowflakes, lights and garlands lift your spirits and create a wonderful atmosphere of anticipation for magic, even if final tests and reports are still looming ahead. And decorations for the classroom will help create a festive mood and celebrate the New Year's holiday for elementary school.
- Discuss with the guys how they would like to decorate their “native” office.
- Together, choose the most suitable ideas and draw up a general design plan.
- Invite the children to determine who will prepare what decorations and by what time.
- Gather together as a class after school and hang New Year's beauty on the walls, doors and windows.
Openwork snowflakes
Paper snowflakes are a hit among New Year's crafts due to their ease of manufacture, spectacular appearance and versatility: they are suitable for decorating any surface. Flat snowflakes can be attached to thick threads in the form of a curtain, and voluminous ones can be hung from the ceiling.

Paper hall decorations
Colored paper, cardboard, silk, corrugated paper - all these materials are affordable and easy to work with. With just a little effort, you can make a lot of beautiful decor from paper in the form of garlands, flowers, lanterns and other figures to decorate the assembly hall.
We have prepared several ways to turn ordinary paper into spectacular decorations for the hall for the last call.
Paper asters
This type of flowers is made from ordinary colored double-sided paper and even children can easily cope with the task. So, for work you will need colored paper, scissors and glue.
To create one flower you need to cut out 5-7 circles, each of a different diameter. The largest circle is the base of the flower. Next you will need to layer circles with a smaller diameter, moving towards the smallest one, which is in the core.
To make the petals, each circle needs to be folded three times and cut out as shown in the photo.
To create the core of a flower, we recommend taking corrugated paper, cutting out a strip 3-5 centimeters wide (depending on the size of the flower) and creating a grass effect by not cutting the strip all the way through. Then the strip needs to be twisted into a tube and glued to the middle of the aster.
School bell made of paper
With this decoration it's even easier. To make the main symbol of the last call, you need to print out a bell template (we attach several options below) in the required size, cut it out and paint it with acrylic paints or gouache. To make the decoration look good and look beautiful when decorated, we recommend choosing thick paper that holds its shape.
Fan circles made of paper
From this type of decoration you can make very beautiful compositions for the hall, especially if you combine circles of different diameters and colors.
To create the decor you will need rectangular sheets of paper and glue. First, take a sheet of paper and fold it like an accordion. The fold width should be approximately 2-3 centimeters. After this, bend the accordion in half and fasten its ends together. As a result, you will get sectors like in the photo below. Continue adding sectors until you get a solid circle, gluing the elements together.
Paper sunflowers
Bright and sunny sunflowers are associated with good mood, summer and warmth. Making them to decorate the room will not be difficult. Take cardboard, corrugated paper, glue and scissors.
First, cut out a circle from cardboard. Use black or dark brown leaves as this will be the heart of the sunflower. Next, cut out the petals from yellow corrugated paper. Start gluing the petals to the circle, gradually layering them. The more layers you get, the more magnificent the flower will be.
If desired, you can also add green leaves from the same corrugated paper, gluing them under the first layer of petals.
Paper pom poms
To create hanging pompoms, it is best to use thin paper. Take 16 rectangular sheets and fold them all together like an accordion. Mark the center of this accordion and tie it in a knot or secure it with wire. Tie a ribbon or thread of the required length to the knot so that the pompom can be hung from the ceiling or on the wall. Next, take scissors and cut the edges of the accordion in a figurative manner (triangle, semicircle). Finally, fluff the accordion and give the pompom a spherical shape.
Decorating the assembly hall with fabric
Bright flowing fabrics will help transform even the most ordinary-looking room. Textiles can be used to decorate the stage, windows, aisles and other areas. Translucent chiffon is often used for decorative purposes. It gives the room lightness and airiness.
You can also take polysilk, which shimmers beautifully in the light and makes soft, flowing folds easy. On the stage, figured lambrequins are made from fabric, and color accents are also made on the curtains so that the decoration of the hall is consistent in the same style.
Garlands for decorating the assembly hall
With the help of LED garlands you can make the school assembly hall more elegant and festive. Garlands can be used to decorate the backstage on the stage, windows, curtains, walls, etc. For example, the back wall of the stage, if there is no projector screen hanging on it, can be decorated with a light curtain. We have a wide selection of garlands of this type in our catalog.
With the help of light, it is very good to emphasize important details, for example, framing posters with wishes or hanging photographs of graduates on the wall of the hall.
In addition to ordinary garlands, you can use flexible neon to create luminous inscriptions in the hall. We have previously made a material in which we described in detail the process of creating neon signs for interior and exterior decoration. Follow the link and read.
