Guests in the house
The guests have already looked through all your photographs from childhood, youth and travel to warm countries in plump albums, searched the computer for new videos and music, played with the cat, after which it ran under the sofa and decided not to come out until “these crazy people” leave , and now they are bored.
Even if you are not planning a grand event, but just want to spend time in good company, you need to approach the preparation of the holiday with imagination. Come up with interesting entertainment for your guests, and they will remember this meeting with delight for a long time.
Preparation for the holiday . It is important to think over the general plan for the evening, leaving the opportunity to change it in accordance with the mood of the guests.
First, decide on the occasion of the event, the number of guests and the menu, then start decorating the house. Show your imagination, for example, with the help of flowers and balloons you can turn an ordinary room into an elegant living room.
And finally, the most important thing - draw up a rough scenario or course of the holiday. Select entertainment (games, quizzes, lotteries, competitions, fortune telling) depending on the theme of the celebration, age and status of the guests. Stock up on rewards for the winners. You can buy small souvenirs, or you can make something with your own hands, for example, personalized certificates, ribbons or prize medals.
When guests are just arriving . It is important to create the right atmosphere at the very beginning of the holiday. Many people feel constrained when they come to visit. In addition, some people show up half an hour earlier than the agreed time, while the hostess is still running around in curlers or a robe; others, on the contrary, consider it their duty to stay an hour and come at a time when the party is already in full swing. While all the invitees are gathering, you need to occupy those who have already arrived. Just don’t entertain them by looking at photographs, otherwise the party will look like a meeting of old philatelists.
There are better ways to “stir up” your guests. For example, offer them an aperitif. This is a good way to introduce people, help them start an interesting conversation and increase their appetite before eating. It’s easy to prepare an aperitif – mix vermouth with juice or sparkling water, add ice, garnish with orange and lemon slices and bright paper umbrellas.
Another interesting activity is to hang a map of your city, the world or the starry sky in your room. Rest assured, there will be no end to those wishing to find their home, Greenland or the constellation Sagittarius. When everyone is gathered, invite guests to the table.
The holiday is in full swing . And now a lot has been drunk and eaten, the middle of the evening comes, when no one still wants to dance, and the topics for conversation are drying up, and the guests begin to be overcome by boredom. This is the best time to invite everyone to take part in interesting games. Choose suitable entertainment depending on the mood and age of the company. Just know that “to warm up” it is better to choose outdoor games, after them - logical and intellectual ones, and save the ones that are too unusual and frank for last.
Games to warm up bored guests
Fun questions Everyone takes turns going to the bags with notes and pulling out what comes to hand. The first contains questions, the second contains “answers”. The more fun both of them are, the more fun the competition will be. A combination, for example, of questions such as: “Do you like to visit?”, “Do you like to interfere in other people’s affairs?”, “Do you hide your age?” and such answers as: “I can’t imagine my life without this”, “Only in despair”, “This is the main goal of my life”, gives rise to “discoveries” that cause uncontrollable laughter from other participants.
Sasha with sushi Hold a tongue twister competition. But you need to pronounce them not just by reading from a piece of paper, but after filling your mouth with nuts. The game gradually moves from the category of “say a tongue twister” to “guess what the other participant lisped.”
Drawing sayings Players are divided into 2 teams. In each, a daredevil is selected. He is given a piece of whatman paper, a marker and a note with a saying or a fixed expression, for example “don’t feed the wolf…” or “don’t have a hundred friends...”. The player’s task is to depict what is written, the task of each team is to guess faster than the other what the “artist” is trying to draw, while he is not allowed to talk or use letters.
Popular games
Forfeits The good old game is still popular. Participants write any desires on pieces of paper, for example, “Imagine a bear,” “Dance the dance of the little ducklings,” or “Go to the store wearing flippers.” “Forfeits” are put into a bag and pulled out in random order. You can put the notes in a bottle and spin it - whoever the neck points to, pulls out the next piece of paper with the task.
City The more people agree to take part, the better. Prepare signs with profession inscriptions in advance. Each player is given a piece of paper with their assigned role on their back. Thus, everyone knows about his position except himself. Then the city “begins to live” ordinary life. The players approach each other, read what is written on the piece of paper and begin to communicate accordingly. For example, “doctors” ask to feel the pulse and prescribe medications; The “seller” is asked about prices, his product, etc. Moreover, you need to act as in ordinary life, i.e. treat the “deputy” with respect, etc. The characters must guess who they are by observing the actions of other players. People may ask questions about their role, but questions that can be answered with a “yes” or “no.” The main task is to react as clearly as possible to other characters. For example, begging the traffic cop for leniency, begging for a discount from the seller, etc. Most often this game is played in a limited period of time, about half an hour. The winner is the one who guessed his role the fastest.
Difficult vodka This game will require observers and guests who usually drink vodka. The presenter gives the participants a glass containing about 100 grams of clear liquid and announces that one of them contains vodka. The players' task is to drink the contents through a straw without revealing what they are drinking. Observers must guess who had alcohol in the glass. Then the participants all drink with calm faces, and the rest express their guesses, place bets, etc. The presenter should add “fuel to the fire” and say: “It seems to me that Vasya was especially wincing, etc.” And at the end, he announces that all the glasses contained water and gives a prize to the one who made the most interesting guesses.
Games for a young cheerful company
Eggs Teams consisting of a girl and a young man are given a chicken egg. The presenter says that they are raw. The partners' task is to quickly pass the egg between the men's trouser legs, after they change, the men roll the egg between the girls' sleeves. Naturally, the players do everything very carefully, and at the end the host announces that the eggs are boiled and gives them to the winning team.
Clothespins The presenter divides the participants into pairs and asks the “other halves” to leave the room. At this time, simple clothespins are attached to the clothes of the remaining players. The leader calls those who left and invites them to remove the clothespins from their partner as quickly as possible. You can modify this game a little: say that there are 5 clothespins to find, when there are only 4. Guests who are “in the know” will laugh heartily.
Ring All players stand in a circle. If possible, it is better to alternate between men and women. Each player puts a toothpick or match in his mouth, and the first player puts a ring on it. The participants’ task is to pass the decoration along the chain (from toothpick to toothpick) without using their hands.
Well, the guests are cheerful and cheerful, everyone is looking at the prizes they received and discussing who completed the tasks and how, remembering the funniest moments. You can continue the feast or move on to dancing. Happy holiday to you!

Competitions and entertainment for the holiday for adults!!!!
Very soon it’s my mom’s birthday and I took it upon myself to organize entertainment for the guests!! I came here in search and……..unfortunately I found people just like me looking for help)))
Now I’m rummaging through the Internet in search of popular competitions and decided to create a post here at the same time, maybe I’ll help someone)))
So:
First entertainment:
Before sitting down at the table, each invitee cuts out from paper what he would like to give or wish to the hero of the occasion. For example, a car, a key to a new apartment, a baby, a banknote, a new dress. All “gifts” are attached with threads to a rope or fishing line, which is stretched approximately at chest level. The birthday boy is blindfolded and given scissors. Under the approving cries of those present, he must approach the rope and cut off the “souvenir”. What was in the hands of the birthday boy will definitely appear before the end of the year. To involve the guests, you can invite the hero of the occasion to guess whose wish it is. If he succeeds, the guest performs some kind of trick: sings a song, tells a joke.
Second:
There are two slits for hands on a piece of whatman paper. Participants take each sheet of paper, put their hands through the slots, and draw a portrait of the birthday person with a brush, without looking. Whoever has the most successful “masterpiece” takes the prize.
Third:
The game requires a couple of stronger guys and several not very bulky volunteers (preferably female). Volunteers are driven out the door and launched one at a time. The person entering is placed on a chair, blindfolded and informed that the chair will now be lifted, but there is no need to be afraid. To avoid fear, a person stands in front of the person standing on a chair and allows him to put his hands on his head - to maintain balance. The point of the game is that on the command “raise,” the muscular guys very slowly and carefully lift the chair by literally 10–20 cm, and the person with the hands of the person standing on the chair resting on his head slowly and evenly squats. This creates the effect of lifting the chair several meters up. When the chair is raised 20 cm, and the assistant has crouched down so that the hands of the person standing on the chair no longer reach his head, the presenter shouts in a wild voice: “Jump!” It is advisable that there are no sharp, hard or breakable objects near the chair, and you can also provide protection for the person jumping from the chair (after all, he believes that he is at a height of several meters).
Fourth:
A victim (guy) is voluntarily and forcibly selected from among the players. He is brought into a pre-prepared room, where he sees two girls sitting on the edges of an improvised bench, assembled from chairs or stools, completely covered with a blanket. The presenter tells the guy that he must choose the one of these two girls that he likes the most and sit on the bench in such a way as to show that he likes his chosen one, but, like a true gentleman, not to offend the second girl. The presenter says that you need to use body language, remember etiquette, etc. nonsense. The guy is given 20 seconds to think about how to do this. 90% out of 100% that the guy will sit between the girls. The joke is that the girls are sitting on chairs, and there is no chair between them. A taut blanket creates the illusion of a chair in the middle. As a result, the victim plops down onto the floor. If you really don’t like this person, then you can place a basin of water under the blanket between the chairs in advance
Fifth:
The host asks all the guests sitting at the table to name what they like and what they don’t like about the neighbor on the right. For example: “I like my neighbor’s ear on the right and don’t like his shoulder.” After everyone calls it, the leader asks everyone to kiss what they like and bite what they don't like. A minute of wild laughter is guaranteed for you.
Sixth:
"In position"
Several guys (men) are selected for the game. Large balloons are attached to their stomachs with tape. A box of matches is placed on the floor. And the men must collect the matches from the floor without forgetting about their position and, accordingly, without bursting the balloons))
The best competition “Blowing up a Balloon” An inflatable balloon is placed in the middle of the table. The two participants are blindfolded and sit down at the table. They are invited to compete in blowing up this balloon. Carefully remove the ball and place a plate generously filled with flour in its place. When they begin to blow forcefully on this plate, they are amazed, and when their eyes are untied, they are indescribably delighted.
Funny competition “Piglets” For this competition, prepare some delicate dish - for example, jelly. The participants' task is to eat it as quickly as possible using matches or toothpicks.
Competition "Banker" Required: 2-3 jars with lids. Fill the jars with coins and make slits in the lid. The “banker” will be the one who will be the fastest to shake out the contents of his jar of coins through a narrow slot in the lid, without resorting to the help of foreign objects.
A fun game of “Football”: A rope with something heavy at the end (for example, a potato) is tied to the participants’ belts. Each participant is given a box of matches or something similar. The task is to swing a tied object, you need to hit a matchbox and thereby move it along the floor. You can come up with a route around the chair, or just in a straight line. Winner: Whoever reaches the finish line first.
“The woman of my dreams”
Required: 12 balloons, 2 spools of thread, 2 felt-tip pens and 2 small narrow tape. Players are divided into 2 teams. All teams are given balloons, thread, markers and tape. On command, participants must inflate the balloons, tie and glue them in such a way as to make a woman. Then they must draw all the features of the “woman of their dreams.” Winner of the competition: the best “woman” is chosen by audience voting. When to hold the competition: when everyone is already tipsy, but can still hold felt-tip pens in their hands.
"Bring Me..." The game is very popular in the UK at parties. The presenter divides everyone present into two teams. Task: at the request of the leader, players from each team must bring him the items that he asks for. The host keeps score and determines the winner. Among the items that the presenter will name may be a watch, a shoe, or any item from the table. The most important thing is to have passion and a desire to win. The last item the presenter asks to bring is usually always a women's bra. Winner: the one who brings the bra When to hold the competition: when the sea is knee-deep and the girls agree to give up their last bra for the sake of their team’s victory
Two teams participate: an even number. The team lines up in a column: man - woman - man - woman - man, etc. Each player is given a match. Task: at the command of the leader, the players take the match with their lips, and the first participants in the team hang a ring on the match. After the signal, you need to transfer this ring from one participant to another, back and forth without using your hands from match to match.
Pair competition “Deposits” The presenter calls two pairs (a man and a woman in each pair): “Now you will try to open a whole network of banks as quickly as possible, investing only one bill in each. Get your initial deposits! (Gives the couples money in candy wrappers). Pockets, lapels, and all secluded places can serve as banks for your deposits. Try to process your deposits as quickly as possible and open as many banks as possible. Get ready... Let's start! The facilitator helps the pairs complete the task; after one minute, the facilitator sums up the results. Presenter: “How many bills do you have left? And you? Fabulous! All money is invested in the business! Well done! And now I ask women to quickly withdraw all deposits, and since a deposit in a bank can only be withdrawn by the one who made it and no one else, you will withdraw your deposit blindfolded so as not to see other people’s deposits” (Women are blindfolded in this too time the men are swapped). At the leader’s command, women enthusiastically withdraw their deposits, suspecting nothing
Scheduled forfeitsForfeits are prepared in advance, which indicate exactly at what time and what the person who will receive this forfeit must do. Before the party, everyone receives one forfeit, unfolds it and remembers what he will have to do. The funny thing is that the action will take place throughout the evening and will be unexpected for those present (for example, one of the guests suddenly starts singing a song about a Christmas tree :-)
To begin with, I will add during the search process)))
