For a modern birthday party, large posters of Angry Birds will look good on the walls. Nowadays, many themed birthday decorations can be found in stores. But you can also easily find prints on the Internet and print them, redraw them, make appliques and decorate your apartment with them.
You can also create Angry Birds out of balloons. To do this you will need a balloon, colored paper and glue. We choose balls to match the colors of the heroes: red, black, yellow, white. We cut out the eyes, beak and white breast and glue everything onto the inflated balloon. The most important thing for these characters is their eyebrows, don’t confuse them.
Birthday in Angry Birds style.
This year, my son himself gave me the idea for a birthday theme when he once sculpted all the birds from his favorite game out of plasticine.
I specifically placed them on bottle caps to compare sizes. The figures are small, but very similar.
I then said that they looked like figures made of sweet mastic. And that he could fashion the same ones himself from mastic and decorate the cake, accordingly, and the holiday can be celebrated in this theme. Radmir really liked the idea, and we began to prepare.
We decided that the main entertainment program would be a recreation of the game itself. The child immediately suggested making different boxes, putting green balloons in the shape of pigs in them and throwing, for example, multi-colored balls at them.
Of course, I supported the idea, but I decided to make real Angry Birds. I bought the cheapest yarn and started knitting.
Since there were supposed to be 15 children, 15 birds had to be knitted - some were repeated.
Unfortunately, the cake idea was not realized. I couldn’t find small pieces of mastic in our city, and it wasn’t reasonable to buy a lot. I tried to make mastic myself. By the way, this is not so difficult, but it turns out to be soft and small details are difficult to sculpt from it, but something simple is very possible. And I haven’t found black dye anywhere yet. And it was impossible to do without black details. In general, I had to order a cake.
So, briefly about how the holiday went.
1. To entertain the gathering guests, I downloaded Angry Birds cartoons (yes, it turns out there are also cartoons). The children gave gifts, played with them, and watched cartoons.
There was also a wall called “Use your brains.” On the wall there were various rebuses, mazes and puzzles, decorated in the theme of the holiday. (I forgot to take a photo of the whole thing.) There was also a traditional congratulatory newspaper where guests could leave their wishes. Those who do not yet know how to write simply traced their hand and wrote their name.

When everyone has gathered, greetings and congratulations (I won’t go into detail). It turned out that everyone, even the little ones, knew this game and I didn’t have to explain, they simply told the kids that they needed to turn into Angry Birds.
1 competition. "Happy Birds"
2 large hoops were placed on the floor - these are nests. The birds are frolicking in the clearing (dancing to the music), but as soon as the leader says “pigs,” everyone must jump into their nests. Whoever is last is eliminated. A headband is placed on the eliminated player's head.
And during pauses (while they were putting on the headband), the rest of the children answered the questions: what kind of bird is this? what can he do? What is this color in English?

To win, you need to eat! The children were seated in the kitchen to have a snack, and at this time, a lot of balloons were scattered in another room, my assistants, my daughter-in-law and nephew, put on pig headbands and placed baskets with “eggs” (different colored balls) in front of them.
- Oh no! The pigs stole all our eggs! Let's run to save them quickly!
Competition 2: Air combat!
With shouts of “Fight!” pig urine! and so on. the children run into the room and, at my prompting, begin to throw balloons at the unfortunate people, who fight back. There is no particular point in this competition. But it was fun and noisy!
By the way, during this madness, funny music from this game was playing.
When our pigs gave up shouting “Hurray!” we took their baskets of eggs.
Host: - We won and got our eggs back! Now we need to bring them home. But how to do this? Birds don't have hands, do they?
Competition 3: “Only without hands!”
The children were divided into 2 teams and, on command, they took turns transferring the “eggs”, first holding them under their chins, then between their knees and finally in a spoon, holding it in their teeth. Of course, not everyone succeeded; some took it with their hands. But we didn’t find fault - the main thing was to have fun.
Competition 4: “Hey, beat the pigs!”
After this, I announce to the children that this was only a rehearsal and that the real battle is just ahead! I ask the children if they have forgotten which one is which? Everyone shouts out their “bird name” and is given a corresponding knitted bird. We opened the door to the children's room (which had previously been tightly closed so that nothing would break in advance) and then... I lost control... the children immediately began throwing birds, destroying everything - the noise reached the ceiling. Somehow they pacified the children and explained that they did not all play at once, but in turns. I had to improvise. Two built barricades, two placed pigs, the rest lined up and threw their bird in turn. Then they changed. Well, it was a lot of fun!
Having played and danced enough, the children got tired. And then the riddles and various tricky questions printed out “just in case” came in handy.
While the children and I were solving the riddles, the helpers (how would I have been without them) prepared a sweet table.

Since the game is famous, it is better to adhere to its principle.
