Where to start

At the very first stage, you need to decide on the theme of the New Year's wall newspaper. After all, there are a lot of options - from classic to non-standard images.

The main characters of any New Year are, of course, Father Frost and Snow Maiden; they can be easily depicted. To do this, just cut out ready-made templates with your own hands, decorate them and glue them to a wall newspaper.

The coming year will pass under the sign of the White Bull, which can also be depicted on the poster. It is not necessary to color the cut out template; we leave it white, but the background can be made contrasting.

So, preparations for my mother’s holiday have begun: handmade gifts, drawings, flowers, etc., etc. There are no problems with these details. Working collectively to decorate the classroom and hallways is a completely different matter. What should a homemade wall newspaper be like for Mother's Day at school, capable of conveying the depth of children's love and cheering up mothers for the whole day? There are several options:

a humorous poster on a specific topic;
bright congratulatory poster with wishes;
a college of scrapbooks and family photographs;
a huge drawing with handprints, 3D elements, etc.

How to create a wall newspaper for Mother's Day at school

Volumetric poster. This is a great alternative to a hand-drawn poster. To design it you will need whatman paper, colored paper and scissors, pencils or paints, small cubes of foam rubber, glue and stencils. On whatman paper, you need to beautifully write the title, paint over the background, trace with a pencil the outlines of all the clippings and other details (photos, artificial flowers, bows, printouts with poems). All that remains is to glue small cubes of foam rubber and fix the volumetric elements on them.

Photo collage. This is the simplest and at the same time effective way to congratulate mothers on the holiday. To create a collage, you will have to collect one of the most successful family photos (or photos of your mother) from all students in advance and beautifully paste them on a poster in a thoughtful order. Alternatively, you can give each student one letter from the phrase “Mommies, we love you very much!”, and take separate photos. And then lay them out in the right order on a wide canvas.

Flying wall newspaper. This is a relatively new form of greeting moms with a Mother's Day poster. To implement the idea, you need to prepare a colorful congratulatory wall newspaper in advance with bright drawings and good wishes from the whole class, and then fix thin light strips on its lower and upper edges. To make the poster easily move in the air throughout the hall, you should attach 8-10 helium balloons to both upper corners. The finished gift will look very impressive and will certainly sincerely surprise all parents.

Materials

With your own hands you can make the brightest and most beautiful wall newspaper for the New Year 2021 from almost any materials. As a basis, you can take whatman paper in A1 format, you can glue together several sheets of A4 format, or use a piece of thick wallpaper. It all depends on the idea itself.

Classic wall newspaper - suitable for kindergarten or school. New Year's inscriptions are written on a large sheet of paper and images of various fairy-tale characters are drawn. It is not necessary to draw by hand; you can glue the templates.
Coloring is a great idea for creativity with the family. To do this, simply print out the white templates and carefully paint over them.
Stencil poster - the idea is to place different shapes on the same background. They can simply be glued or painted using spray paint.
Applique - any three-dimensional paper images are suitable here, and you can also take a closer look at the mosaic technique. Photos, disks, multi-colored ribbons, and New Year's cards are suitable here.
A 3D poster is a three-dimensional wall newspaper, to create which you can use any natural materials. Origami and quilling techniques are also suitable. Another unusual option is to glue children's toys.

Unlike a wall newspaper, which is the result of collective child labor, including a variety of types of creativity, a poster is an informative and entertaining poster of an educational or congratulatory nature, performed by one author. A do-it-yourself Mother's Day poster for school can contain short notes about the history of the holiday, unusual facts about great heroine mothers, thematic poems by writers, colorful illustrations and pleasant congratulatory lines.

Often, school themed posters for Mother’s Day are designed in the form of an information summary about the achievements of mothers over the past school year, about parental assistance to the school, about their participation in various kinds of competitions and holiday competitions. Even more often - in the format of an advertisement or poster for an upcoming school concert (performance, competition, etc.) dedicated to the mothers of all students. They usually contain an announcement of the event, the time and date of its holding. Certificate of honor for beloved mother on Mother's Day at school

In recent years, thematic posters - certificates of commendation, diplomas and certificates of honor - have become very popular. They can be factory-made (bought ready-made) or homemade. In the first version, students only have to sign the poster and add a couple of lines of their own. In the second case, the children create a poster on their own “from scratch”: they buy whatman paper, draw a title, write a text of praise or gratitude, and complement the picture with bright decorative illustrations.

In the certificate of honor, you can thank all the mothers at once on behalf of the whole class, or indicate the individual merits of each student’s mother. Eg:

Veres I.N. — creative organizer of holidays, etc.;
Zaitseva A.S. - a skilled pastry chef, sponsor of children's buffets;

A poster for mothers in the format of a certificate of honor can contain beautiful poems by classics, modern authors or the students themselves, a list of merits of the mothers of the class, a list of thanks from all students, information about who and when issued the “document”.

Inscriptions on a wall newspaper

Any wall newspaper should have beautiful inscriptions. They can be drawn, glued or made three-dimensional. Of course, hand-drawn ones look very beautiful, but not everyone has artistic talent and calligraphic handwriting.

Volumetric inscriptions also look interesting and unusual. It’s very easy to make them yourself; all you need is corrugated paper and glue.

On the poster we write the selected inscription with a simple pencil, for example, “Happy New Year 2021!”
We cut corrugated paper of the desired color into strips, carefully twisting each into strips.
Using a brush, apply PVA glue to the rolled roll, apply it to the stencil and coat it with glue on top again. The main thing here is not to use a lot of adhesive, since under its influence the paper becomes colored. If the paint has spread and gone beyond the edges of the stencil, then this place can be masked with sparkles or glued sequins.
Finally, let the letters dry completely.

Volumetric letters can be made from cotton wool, and then the inscription can be painted with watercolors and decorated with crumbly sparkles.

Wall newspaper application

A wall newspaper in the form of an applique is an excellent option for a kindergarten or school. It is imperative to involve children in making posters, because this is how they develop creative thinking.

Materials:

A1 sheet;
colored cardboard;
watercolor paints;
cotton wool, sponge;
scissors, glue.

Master Class:

We paint a large sheet of paper with blue watercolors.

We cut out a Christmas tree from thick green cardboard and decorate it as desired. Here you can use rhinestones, small bows, sparkles, etc.

By hand or using a template, draw the symbol of the New Year 2021, that is, the Ox, and cut it out.

We cut out small squares from cardboard and glue them together to make boxes. Wrap with wrapping paper.

Now we also cut out Father Frost and Snow Maiden using the template or from the cover. Before the New Year holidays, colored paper with images of fairy-tale characters on the cover is often sold.
We use watercolor paints to paint snowflakes and, if desired, any other paraphernalia that is associated with the holiday.

In the center we write a beautiful inscription “Happy New Year 2021!”
Glue all the prepared crafts onto paper.
