Beer party: at home, script, menu (snacks, dishes), decoration, competitions, decorations

  • Theme parties

June 15, 2021 1872
Many people like to sit down with beer and snacks, but it’s much more interesting to throw a real beer party. Entire festivals in the foam style are held in the USA and Europe. Going to the German Oktoberfest is a cherished dream for many. It’s difficult to replicate such a scale, but throwing a beer party at home is also possible, and the design rules are actually simpler than they might seem.

Secrets of the organization

For a beer party, details matter. Firstly, the right location. If the holiday takes place in the summer, it is better to go to the dacha or to a country house, to nature. If the weather is bad, you can rent a room in a bar or pub, or you can even gather at home - this will be a good savings. A holiday in a loft will be a stylish solution and save time.

Themed birthday parties and other celebrations are fun in themselves, but to create a truly fun atmosphere you need to know how to organize a beer “meeting”.

  • Only beer. Other drinks are not appropriate.
  • Beer accessories and attributes in the interior and table setting.
  • Characteristic menu.
  • Thematic games and competitions.
  • Dress code compliance.

Beer party is good! What about a beer wedding?

A beer festival can also be organized in honor of a wedding. If you love Germany and beer, you can organize a German-themed wedding . The wedding will become your little Oktoberfest. The banquet hall of the beer restaurant, white and blue rhombuses in decor and costumes, a sea of beer, many interesting games, German folk songs and dances and, of course, delicious German sausages - guests will be delighted! Holding a wedding in the Oktoberfest style does not require a predominantly youth audience, because people of any gender and age love beer.

Decor

At a beer party, everything should be in the appropriate style: from invitations and interior details to clothing. Each point needs to be given enough attention to create that very atmosphere.

Invitations

You can call or write to your friends, but a postcard with an invitation in a characteristic style will be a pleasant little thing and will stir up interest in the holiday. Colors: white and blue. The text is light, without officialdom. You can include jokes, slang and buzzwords specific to your company.

On the cover, place a picture of a glass of beer, Bavarian sausages, pretzels, barrels, and the Oktoberfest flag - the most famous beer festival in Bavaria. The invitation can be designed as a regular postcard with pictures or in the form of a beer glass, bottle, pretzel, or a man in traditional Bavarian clothing.

Interior

When organizing in the Interior, they try to embody the event, known for its scope and fun. The dominant colors are white and blue. Select a tablecloth, napkins, flags, and garlands of these colors. Pay attention to details:

  • Balloons in the form of mugs or bottles.
  • Beer barrels. They can be large and stand indoors, in a tent, or in a clearing. Or small ones. Then you can put dried flowers in them or put bottles.
  • Garlands of cans under the ceiling and along the walls.
  • Slogans about beer.
  • An image from Oktoberfest, a banner with the name of the festival.
  • Instead of a table, you can put several “trade tents” - this will enhance the atmosphere of the German festival and take up less space than tables, which is convenient if you are planning a dance.

For the table, prepare beer mugs and glasses, and coasters for them. Place a keg or main dish in the center. It should be large, on a huge plate - according to the rules, it should be enough for all the guests.

Furniture should be wooden and powerful. Instead of chairs and armchairs, you can put wooden benches. The dishes are simple earthenware.

Photozone

Photos from a fun and unusual evening should remain with all guests. Photos in an interior decorated in the spirit of Bavaria are interesting in themselves, but it is better to create a special area for shooting.

On the background you can place a map of Germany or state symbols: coat of arms and flag. Even a simple wooden wall will do, on which you need to paste images of mugs and bottles, photos from Oktoberfest, views of Munich, etc.

Prepare cardboard mugs and tantamaresque depicting people in traditional German outfits - it’s more interesting for guests to take pictures with the attributes.

Entertainment

Since Oktoberfest in the traditional sense is about eating fatty foods, drinking delicious beer and going on rides, it doesn’t cost you anything, after feeding and drinking your guests, go to the nearest amusement park!

Prepare a photo theater like this - it will allow you not only to have a lot of fun, but also to take funny pictures!

You can also arrange beer drinking competitions at home, play various board and outdoor games, descriptions of which you will find on our website!

Don't forget to treat each guest to a delicious pretzel!

Have a nice rest!

Fashion style

Party attire is required. They should repeat the images traditional for Oktoberfest and resemble Bavarian national costumes. For inspiration, you can look at photos from the festival.

For women, this is a white blouse with a deep neckline, a loose skirt, a corset, white leg warmers or knee socks, and dark shoes with high heels. The hairstyle can be anything. Bright makeup is encouraged. It turns out to be a sort of “shepherdess” image.

Men will need knee-length trousers or shorts with suspenders, a white or plaid shirt with long or short sleeves. Accessories include a hat. White socks and dark shoes complete the look.

If you want a more casual style, then choose simple and comfortable outfits. Suits and evening dresses will be inappropriate, but jeans and shorts, comfortable shirts and T-shirts are just the thing.

Be sure to mention the clothing style in the invitation. Guests may need time to select an outfit. Especially if you want themed costumes. Making them yourself is usually difficult, and most people buy or rent the appropriate clothing.

Beer front. Who wins?

Lesson-discussion script

Decor:

Book exhibition “Beer Front. Who will win?

Sayings: “A river begins with a stream, and drunkenness begins with a mug of beer.”

“You have to try everything in life.”

“Health comes first.”

The discussion is led by 5 people: presenters (1 and 2), schoolchildren in the role of: cosmetologist, narcologist, expert.

You will need green and red tokens according to the number of children in the class.

SPEAKER 1:

Hello, friends! We chose the popular wisdom as the motto of our conversation: “Rivers begin with a stream, and drunkenness begins with a mug of beer.” Our guests are a Cosmetologist, a Narcologist and an Expert.

On the board, as you can see, two phrases related to our topic are written: “You have to try everything in life” and “Health

first of all". Now I will give each of you two paper tokens - red and green. If you agree with the first phrase, raise the red token; if you agree with the second phrase, raise the green one.

(Guys vote.)

Guys, you have made your choice. At the end of our class hour we will compare whether your opinion has changed or not.

The word “beer” itself in Slavic languages is consonant with the word “drink” and means a drink in general. It was the Slavs who were the intermediaries who passed on the practice of using hops to European peoples. In the birch bark documents of the library of ancient Novgorod, perevars were mentioned - intoxicating drinks made from honey and beer, characterized by high strength. There is no doubt that drinks with high strength were highly valued in Rus'. Digestions became the equivalent of tribute, and malt and hops were part of the peasants' dues for the use of the land. The Russkaya Pravda, one of the first Russian codes of laws, says that the collector of payments and fines was entitled to a bucket of malt per day, and the craftsmen who repaired the city fortifications were given malt in addition to money so that they could brew their own beer. The main set of food products in Rus' consisted of beer, onions and bread. Beer and honey were ritual drinks consumed at communal feasts. However, the rituality of drinking strong drinks has survived to this day.

PRESENTER 2:

Often teenagers are faced with a difficult choice: to maintain friendship or remain unconvinced. But when it comes to health, you should think carefully.

Some of you have probably encountered this situation: friends offer you a beer, and you are afraid to refuse them, thinking that after that they will no longer respect you. Of course, you yourself have the right to decide what to do in this case, but keep in mind that real friends don’t care whether you drink beer or not.

Now we will look at the positive and negative aspects of beer. The floor is given to the Cosmetologist.

COSMETOLOGIST:

It has long been established that beer accelerates metabolism in the body and promotes cell rejuvenation. And various masks and creams made from beer help smooth out wrinkles,

Beer is the best hair styling product, and a natural one at that. Abroad, beer-based shampoos have long been produced, which add shine to hair, like shampoos with conditioners.

But we are talking only about natural beer, without harmful additives that are now present in any store-bought beer.

EXPERT:

For your information.
There is an opinion in the public consciousness that beer is a low-alcohol and completely harmless drink. Indeed, it is prepared from a very healthy product - barley, which contains proteins ,
fats, carbohydrates and vitamins. But in beer wort, fermentation microbes eat this wonderful product, using it for their growth and reproduction. Possessing a powerful diuretic effect, beer mercilessly flushes proteins, fats, carbohydrates and microelements from the body, such as potassium, magnesium and vitamin C, which is necessary for growing human - a disaster. With potassium deficiency, heart rhythm disturbances occur, dry skin, pain in the calves, and weakness in the legs occur. Magnesium deficiency is dangerous because the background mood changes, a person becomes irritable, whiny, and sleeps poorly. With the leaching of vitamin C, immunity decreases, intelligence suffers, and colds occur more often. In addition to alcohol, beer contains another 5-8 percent of substances, collectively called “extractives.” Among them are valeric acid, a well-known sedative, and other substances that act so that beer helps you relax and unwind. As a result, the beer drinker gradually becomes accustomed not only to the usual intoxicating effect of alcohol, but also to the “calming effect of alcohol.” Gradually, you want to repeat this pleasant relaxation over and over again - beer becomes a necessary element of relaxation. Doses have to be increased.

It is generally not customary to talk about toxic compounds and the dangers of beer. Although in terms of harmfulness to the body, beer can only be compared with moonshine, since during the process of alcoholic fermentation, both beer and moonshine retain the toxic compounds accompanying alcohol (fermentation by-products) in full. The concentration level of these compounds is much higher than in vodka obtained from highly purified alcohol .

SPEAKER 1:

And now the floor is given to the Narcologist.

DOCTOR-NARCOLOGIST:

Massive advertising of beer has led to the fact that many began to treat it as lemonade, completely forgetting that it is an alcoholic drink and its abuse can lead to the development of a serious chronic disease - alcoholism.

This disease is determined by a pathological craving for alcohol, the development of a hangover syndrome upon cessation of its use, dysfunction of all organs and systems, and in later stages

persistent damage to the body and mental disorders, even personality degradation. The time for the development of alcoholism is different for everyone and depends on gender, age, metabolism, mental development, character and willpower. Beer is especially dangerous for teenagers. They develop alcohol dependence very quickly, and the disease is especially difficult. Experts say: beer alcoholism develops even faster than vodka alcoholism. In support of these words, the following historical fact is cited: in the 19th century, Europe was swept by a real epidemic of alcoholism. The leaders of the states of that period gathered for a forum to discuss this problem. They decided that it was better to reduce the production of strong drinks and establish the production of weaker ones. Citizens switched to beer, but beer alcoholism turned out to be even worse than vodka alcoholism. So, the floor is given to the Expert.

EXPERT:

In addition to ethyl alcohol, beer also contains other substances that are harmful.

the body when consumed in large quantities. Note that we mean any beer, from expensive to cheap, on tap. No matter how strange it may sound, beer is worse than vodka.

Here are a few important facts. Firstly, beer is very high in calories, but the set of nutrients in it is not balanced, so regular consumption of it leads to obesity. In addition, the face becomes puffy and edematous.

The most interesting thing was that beer increases the production of female sex hormones. Therefore, in men who drink beer, the pelvis becomes wider, the mammary glands enlarge, and a belly appears

in general, the figure is transformed according to the female type. But beer is also harmful for girls. The concentration of female sex hormones sharply increases the likelihood of cancer. It is dangerous for a mother who is breastfeeding her baby to drink beer - the child may experience epileptic convulsions. Among the delayed consequences, it is worth mentioning heart damage. Beer is quickly absorbed into the body, filling the circulatory system. When you drink a lot, varicose veins occur. Also, over time, “beer heart” syndrome or “nylon stocking” syndrome may appear, when the heart sags, becomes flabby, and does not perform its function well.

DOCTOR-NARCOLOGIST:

People who abuse beer live shorter lives - this has been proven. Brewers are usually silent about this fact.

It is also worth mentioning that when drinking beer too much, some diseases develop severely: cirrhosis of the liver, hepatitis. Beer affects brain cells, causing a person’s intellect to weaken.

Commercials convince us that drinking beer is a normal way of life. And many people form this point of view. Suffice it to remember that ten years ago a person walking down the street and drinking beer “from the throat” was perceived as nothing more than a hungover alcoholic. Today, this picture is a familiar way of life for young people. Now in Russia every tenth alcoholic is under eighteen years of age!

LEADING:

Beer is not the best thirst quencher. There are better drinks for this, such as water or iced tea.

Those who claim that they love beer for its specific taste are lying. Non-alcoholic beer has the same taste, but is drunk much less often.

EXPERT:

Unscrupulous pica producers add cobalt compounds to the drink to achieve high foam. There is evidence that microdoses of cannabis derivatives and even cadaveric poison were found in beer.

Bitterness and some extractive substances of beer, on the one hand, have a bactericidal effect, on the other, they also cause hallucinations in those who drink more than one liter per day.

SPEAKER 1:

Did you know that beer alcoholism negatively affects blood vessels and brain cells? Man, roughly speaking, is slowly becoming stupid.

The above conclusions clearly show that, despite the small amount of ethyl alcohol contained in beer, this drink is also alcoholic, with all the ensuing consequences. With the systematic consumption of alcohol, not a single healthy, normally functioning organ remains in the body.

DOCTOR-NARCOLOGIST:

Many people do not know that five hundred grams of beer are equivalent to forty to fifty grams of vodka. Without feeling quickly intoxicated, teenagers experience the illusion of safety. Therefore, one drunk bottle is followed by another, a third... This is how a need arises, and then an addiction.

LEADING:

Having listened to all the pros and cons, let's summarize.

We have already talked about the reasons for drinking beer and noted that very often peers introduce beer to beer. Such situations may arise in your life too, and you must be ready to say no.

What will you do after watching an advertisement for a new brand of beer?

(The guys answer.)

LEADING:

What will you do in the following situation? In the school toilet, a high school student approaches you and, holding out a can of beer, offers you a try. You refuse, He starts laughing at you, saying that you are not mature enough.

(The guys answer.)

HOST (2):

Now I ask you to take the red and green tokens and, having made your choice, raise the token of the corresponding color.

(The guys vote. The presenter announces the results of the choice to the audience.)

Drinks and food

The question of what to cook for a party is no more important than interior design or selection of clothes. Traditionally German food prepared during Oktoberfest consists of vegetables and meat, the portions are large and filling. The recipes can be very simple, the main thing is that the snacks go well with the beer and fill you up well.

You can put homemade food on the table or buy ready-made food if you have limited time:

  • Chicken meat. These can be thighs or wings baked in the oven.
  • Sausages and sausages made from pork are widespread in Bavaria.
  • If you want to make fish, it must be skewered.
  • If you need a first course, it should be cheese soup.
  • Vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, German red cabbage.
  • Snacks include salted soft pretzels, baked cheese, Swiss cheese, croutons, and meatloaf.
  • Barbecue sauce.

For dessert you can serve strudel or chocolate cake. Cakes made in the form of mugs or barrels with filling inside look interesting.

Table setting should not be pretentious. German food is coarse portions, huge plates of meat with vegetables and sauce.

It's simple with drinks. Beer can be anything: dark or light, filtered or unfiltered, live, foamy, etc. For variety, cider and cocktails made from beer and lemonade or Schweppes will not hurt. Non-alcoholic drinks include iced tea, cola and mineral water.

If you're celebrating a foam-themed birthday, cake is a must. It can be made in the form of a mug or barrel, the flag of Bavaria, etc.

Menu, serving

You can save time on table decoration - the main decoration should be the food. A blue and white tablecloth, simple “country” dishes, liter Maßkrug or disposable cups if there is not enough glass containers for everyone.

Place fruits in upside-down hats, place bouquets of sunflowers, chrysanthemums or cereals in mugs. Hang a few garlands, pretzel beads and painted gingerbread cookies in a recognizable style (you can paint them, just for decoration).

The table is preferably shared, long - several arranged, as before at weddings. Dishes can be placed on a common table or, for authenticity, on a separate one - guests fill their plates with goodies and sit down at the common table.

The food at an Oktoberfest party is predominantly fatty and very filling. Harmful, but it helps you not lose your head after a couple of liters of the main drink of the holiday. For those who don't like beer, young wines are sold at the festival.

The menu is the same from year to year. This is a tradition, in a sense even an attraction of the October festival. Of course, you can add to the list at your discretion.

  • pork, chicken and white Munich sausages;
  • Hendl chickens, served in halves (carcass cut lengthwise). This is the most beloved and most sought after dish of the festival;
  • Bavarian pork knuckle;
  • meat stew with stewed vegetables;
  • whole fried or boiled potatoes, Kartoffelsalat (traditional salad, very popular);
  • Steckerlfisch – fish on a stick baked in coals;
  • sauerkraut, fresh cabbage salads, tomatoes, greens, bunches of radishes.

The recipes are quite simple and can be found online. Pretzel credels are also easy to make. Also buy salted crackers (there are similar shapes), nuts, felted fish and other snacks.

Those with a sweet tooth will be delighted by cupcakes in the shape of beer mugs: cut off the lid of the sponge cake, make a hole, fill with cream, decorate with fondant and pour in cream before serving.

Celebration

A beer party script is a must! The entertainment that is common at Oktoberfest can be easily adapted to suit home conditions. After hearty meat dishes and plenty of beer, guests will need to be stirred up. The scenario should include active competitions and fun games.

Competitions for the holiday

  • "Barrels." Several participants roll a beer barrel. Whoever reaches the finish line first wins.
  • "Bucket." There is a large container filled with beer. A few meters away from her there are buckets according to the number of participants. They must scoop up beer in mugs and fill their bucket. The first one to do this wins.
  • "Race". There are liter glasses of beer in front of the participants. They must drink the contents quickly.

Suitable for game night

  • "Bowling". Instead of skittles, use empty beer bottles, and instead of a ball, use a watermelon or melon
  • "Literball." It's better to play together. The first takes one sip of beer, the second takes two, the first takes three, the second takes four. And so on more and more until one of the players gives up.
  • "Experts" Different types of beer are poured into identical mugs. Players arrange a tasting and try to guess the variety and brand.

Play “beer erudite.” Ask participants questions about the history of the drink, traditions, and geography. Reward the one who gives the most correct answers with a bottle of foam or a beautiful mug.

Please note that not all guests will want to play or participate in competitions. Leave a place where they can sit and chat, watch TV, dance.

It is more interesting to conduct games and competitions with atmospheric music. Play the Oktoberfest anthem, Bavarian tunes, songs about beer, or just put on catchy songs.

Leave time for dancing. Play traditional Bavarian music and give your guests time to have fun. There is no place for slow dancing. This must be a real “breakaway”.

At the end of the evening you can choose a king and queen. Awards can be awarded for the most interesting outfits, for the largest amount of alcohol drunk, for winning competitions, etc. You can hold a general vote or entrust the choice to the presenter.

Traditions

Traditionally, the holiday opens with a procession of beer stalls, followed by the uncorking of the first barrel of beer with the exclamation O'zapft is! After driving the tap into the barrel, you can start celebrating :).

You can also hold a competition for the number of hits that will open the barrel. They say that in Munich the best shot was made by Christian Uhde in 2006 and opened the barrel on the first try :).

The holiday itself is an amazing combination of culture and fun, fueled with quality beer! Thus, in Munich, the largest tents are erected - for example, Hofbräu with an area of 7 thousand square meters and a capacity of 10,000 seats and beer is poured for every taste!

Popular attractions at the traditional holiday include roller coasters, a Ferris wheel, a flea circus and free-fall towers.
