Halloween isn't all about pumpkins, fall foliage and trick-or-treating. These are characters from other worlds: zombies, ghosts and, of course, witches and wizards! We'll talk about them today. A Witches' Sabbath-themed party is perfect for celebrating All Hallows' Day.

Dresses and decorations for adults
The Witches' Sabbath is a meeting of representatives of evil spirits: from demons to Count Dracula, from skeletons to the Great Queen of the Kingdom of the Dead. Perhaps remembering a score from the TV series “The Master and Margarita” will help you.
Don’t limit your imagination and transform into that “unclean” character that turns you on. We propose to analyze the details of the female and male characters.
Witch
It would seem a classic image. But there are countless variations of it. The main thing is not clothes and accessories, but condition.
Imagine living in the Middle Ages, charming men and being a little afraid of being burned at the stake.
Perhaps you prepare a potion at night, or maybe you live an ordinary life.
And now the components of the image of a witch:
- dress. Preferably in dark colors, tight-fitting. Possible with a hood, long sleeves, immodest neckline;
- long gloves. Mesh, latex or velor - choose to suit your look. Especially suitable for sleeveless dresses;
- hat. Sharp, in dark shades. Ideally - black or purple;
- cloak or cape. Atmospheric addition to the image!; broom. What is a witch without a flying attribute?;
- If desired, you can wear a carnival mask, fishnet tights and high-heeled shoes.

Count Dracula
Male image. Although it is more vampire than witchy, it is harmonious for a Halloween party! Gloomy, strict, bloodthirsty. Components of the image:
- dark trousers;

- a black frock coat or cloak, with gold buttons and a high collar;
- vampire jaws.
For effect, you can style your hair with gel, add pale makeup to your face and a couple of “bloody” drops in the corners of your lips.

Are you alone or are you four?
The Inquisition could not agree on how many witches' covens there were. Does such a “party” take place once a year or do they still gather quarterly? As a result, the Germans and French identified two main options.
Version one: the Sabbath takes place on the eve of All Saints' Day - on the night of October 30 to 31 - and on Walpurgis Night - from April 30 to May 1. It is the eve of St. Walburga, who is believed to have died in Germany in 777.
Version two: gatherings are organized on the eve of pagan holidays associated with the change of seasons. So, for the first time in a year, the ladies gathered before February 2nd. On this day, according to the ancient calendar, Candlemas took place.
Another meeting is on June 23 (the eve of John the Baptist). Next - before harvest day, August 1st. Well, the last time in a year they had a party on December 21 (St. Thomas's Day).
Sabbath for little witches and wizards
Despite the seeming gloom of the event, it can be done for children too! Lighten the mood a little with fun and imagination. Here are the images that are suitable for younger Halloween party participants for transformations:
Young witch
Perhaps a less bloodthirsty, but equally vibrant image of a witch. Suitable for a girl:
- dress in dark shades. You can choose a skirt and top separately;
- witch's pointed hat;
- long gloves;
- dark shoes, maybe with rhinestones;
- sequined tights;
- broom.
You can also do makeup: highlight your eyes with dark shades, paint your lips with red or burgundy lipstick.

Witch - a torn hem of a black dress, tousled hair with spiders entangled in it, a broom, a pointed hat. A special chic is a huge wart on the nose. Demoness - red short dress, high heels, headband with horns and arrow tail. Vampire - plastic fangs, bloody makeup, a stylish black dress or leather suit, metal jewelry.
It is not difficult to make an original bat costume - a black tight outfit, slightly modernized. You need to cut out two triangles from the fabric with sharp jagged edges (like bat wings) and sew them on one side to the sleeve, and the other to the leg. He raised his hands and his wings opened (it’s better to make them wide, it’s more comfortable).
If you have a lot of time for preparation, you can create costumes for movie villains, maniacs and positive, but still terrible, characters. Be sure to highlight your eyes, apply foundation, and fill in your eyebrows. The darker it is, the more it looks like a witch. Apply red, burgundy, black or even purple lipstick to your lips.

Menu for the Sabbath
What do witches and wizards eat? The same as people do on Halloween, except with a spooky twist in how they decorate their dishes. A classic of the Halloween culinary genre: cookies in the shape of women's fingers.
You can cut out “secret symbols” on fruits, add bright red sauces, and use cream to draw a “web” on the cake.
Let the dishes be in traditional Halloween colors - orange, white, black, purple. Side dishes can be served in cauldrons.

Two players become “witch hunters”. They are blindfolded with a scarf. Witches are given bells. There are a few minutes to get lost in the crowd, and then the host gives the sign to begin.
Witches move in space, and hunters try to catch them. The winner is the one who “caught” the most witches within a certain time.
Active music is well suited for this competition.
Contest #3: Vampire's Meal
Players are given a glass of red juice. For example, tomato. And a straw. The participants' task is to empty the glass as quickly as possible.
This game is suitable for both adult parties and children.
Competition No. 4: the most bloodthirsty face
Invite your guests to put on their most terrifying face, and then take a photo. Choose who causes fear and goosebumps more than the rest!
