DRAFT REGULATIONS ABOUT THE COMPETITION “BEST CLASS OF THE YEAR”
1. General provisions The school competition “Best Class of the Year” is held annually with the support of the School Council and the school’s pedagogical council. The organizer and initiator of the competition are representatives of school government. 2. Goals and objectives of the competition. The goal is to identify and stimulate the most united and creative class teams and groups of class parents based on the results of joint activities. Objectives: 1.Develop classroom and school self-government. 2. Contribute to the development of social initiative and the affirmation of the active life position of students. 3.Increase the prestige of knowledge, intellectual and creative achievements of students. 4. Stimulate the creative activity of class teachers, class assets, and parent groups. 3.Organization and holding of the competition. 3.1. The competition is held during the academic year from October 20 to May 20 3. Participants in the competition Participants in the competition are groups of students in grades 1-11: grades 1 – 4 – “Best class of the year (primary school)”; 5 – 8 grades – “Best class of the year (secondary school)”; 9 – 11 grades – “Best class of the year” (high school). 4. Competition program The competition program is determined by the following criteria: 1. “Class of discipline and order” (school duty; the smallest number of comments in lessons; the level of education of students, the culture of communication with each other, with younger comrades, with adults, the smallest number of absences without an excuse reasons; compliance with the School Charter, students’ appearance and the availability of replacement shoes). 5b (total number of points -20b) 2. “Class - erudite” (participation and victories in olympiads, intellectual competitions, scientific and practical conferences at school, district, regional, Russian levels), participation in subject weeks, absence of underachieving students in the class ( school - 5b; district - 10b; regional - 15b; Russian - 20b) Academic performance - 100% - 10b; Quality from 50% and above - 10 b; For each drummer - 1b; excellent student - 5 b; underachieving (minus 5b); 3. “The most creative class” (patronage of the junior class, carrying out interesting activities in it, participation in clubs (music school), participation and victories in artistic and aesthetic competitions, festivals, holidays, fairs, carnivals of school, district, regional, Russian levels). (school-5b; district-10b; regional-15b; Russian-20b) 4. “The most active class” (participation, organization, holding socially significant, mass actions, cleanup days at school, district, regional, Russian levels, participation in labor promotions, conscientious duty at school). (school-5b; district-10b; regional-15b; Russian-20b) 5. “The most athletic class” (participation and victories in sports competitions, games, rallies at school, district, regional, Russian levels, employment in sections, visiting a gym hall). (school-5b; district-10b; regional-15b; Russian-20b) 6. “The most cultural class” (excursions, trips, visits to museums, theaters, exhibitions, meetings with interesting people, joint viewing and discussion of films) - 5b ( one excursion, trip, visit to a museum, theater, exhibition with a photo report, visit to libraries: school and village) 5. Organization and holding of the competition The competition is held during the academic year: from October 20 to May 20. The results of the competition are announced at the Last Bell celebration. To conduct the competition in each age group, an organizing committee-jury is created during September, the composition of which is approved by the school director. 5.1. The jury includes the school director, deputy directors for education and VR, senior counselor, music teacher, physical education teacher, and may include other teachers and leaders of school government. 5.2. The jury develops criteria for assessing the success of participation in the competition, analyzes the results obtained and determines the winners. The winning class is determined by the highest total number of points. In order to timely record the performance of student groups, each class is given an evaluation sheet. The class fills out this sheet at the end of each quarter and at the end of the school year, and submits it to the organizing committee-jury upon first request. The class teacher bears personal responsibility for timely and truthful information in this sheet. The organizing committee-jury has the right to request diplomas, diplomas, certificates and other documents confirming the participation of class students in a particular competition, competition, etc. 6. Awards The class that wins the competition in its age group is awarded the title “Best Class of the Year” , a certificate is awarded, a prize for an amount determined by the administration, and students of the class are exempted from summer work practice for 2 days. The class teacher of the “Best Class of the Year” is awarded a certificate.
