Wall with “precipitation”
How can you decorate your classroom in the fall, involving children in the creative process? Make a “rain” wall.
- Take thick cardboard and cut out 10-15 large drops from it. Use paint to create colorful decor. Glue the drops in a chaotic pattern to the wall using double-sided tape.
- Take four large white sheets and cut out identical clouds. Then fold the resulting figures in half. Glue the clouds so that they form a three-dimensional decor, where each side touches the adjacent one. In appearance, this figure resembles an accordion. The clouds can be attached to the wall, but all that remains is to make the drops. To do this, you need to cut out several templates and glue them together according to the same principle as the first decor.
Huge tree covering the entire wall
Here's another tip on how to decorate your classroom for fall. Use brown construction paper to create a huge tree that sticks to the wall. But every plant has leaves, twigs and fruits. Here real parts collected in a park or forest can be used. Glue pine cones, acorns, bright leaves, artificial berries to the decoration.
Do you want realism? Add a few plastic birds to the tree and place a few pots of flowers or leaves underneath. You can use herbariums that the children made in advance during the labor lesson.
Balloons, but not latex
You can decorate your classroom for the autumn holiday using the Japanese technique of folding paper (origami) or creating three-dimensional balls from thread:
1. Kusudama ball. Take an even square (approximately 15*15 centimeters), place it in front of you to form a rhombus. Fold the shape until triangle ABC comes out. The lower corners need to be raised to the top point, and then carefully mark out the fold line with your fingers or a blunt object. Return the figure to its original position. Fold the corner of the triangle along the fold line (in the middle), then repeat the same action with the other side. You should end up with a small pocket that needs to be connected with glue. Make 5 of these pieces and then fasten them together to make a flower bud. A sufficient number of them will allow you to create a voluminous paper ball that can be hung on the wall or under the ceiling.
2. Volumetric balls made of thread. How to decorate a classroom with the theme “Autumn” using thread and glue? Very simple! Take one balloon, PVA glue, jute thread (twine). Inflate a medium sized balloon. Then start wrapping it with twine, not forgetting to generously coat it with glue. Don't be afraid to leave gaps - they can be used to remove latex residue. When the glue is completely dry, the ball needs to burst and carefully pull out.
