Follow the map
The presenter draws up a certain number of cards in advance for each of the participants, depending on the area where the holiday will take place, marking the elements of the treasure with a cross and pictures - identification marks, such as wood, stone, and so on. Each participant must have the same distance and map difficulty. Along the way, guests collect skewer, firewood, matches, tomatoes, pieces of meat in a bag. As a result, the treasures of all participants are collected together, and all the guests grill kebabs together, and the fastest searcher is awarded a prize.
Let's arrange exciting adventures for the children
Of course, we are talking about the warm season. It is ideal to conduct such programs in the summer or late spring/early autumn. But this does not mean that only sun and greenery will decorate the holiday venue. To make it interesting, you need to think through all the details:
- What kind of design;
- Site zoning;
- Suitable menu.
Believe me, it won't take much time to prepare. But it will definitely create the necessary mood of fun.
Decor
Be sure to think about the topic. It’s probably even better to ask the baby what he wants. I'll offer some ideas and you can choose from them or go your own route. For example it could be:
- pirate Party;
- gathering of amazing fairies;
- theme of your favorite game or cartoon;
- quest-style game room;
- musical in style... it can be your favorite singers, movements, and is dedicated to the soundtrack from a cartoon or game.
According to the idea you choose:
- decorate the venue with balloons, flags, garlands, toys, posters...
- don’t forget about the clothes for the presenter, they should be on topic.
- music and fun according to the direction you choose.
That is, there must be harmony in everything.
Venues for…
Zoning is a must. This way you will determine where the kids will play, where the festive table will be located, arrange the photo zone accordingly, etc. Then it will be convenient for you to watch the crumbs, and it will be more interesting for them.
Menu
Here you need to take into account 3 basic rules. Food should be:
- If not healthy, then at least as safe as possible: fresh from quality products, mainly fruits. Here I would like to add something about allergies. Make sure everyone can enjoy the goodies. If any child is allergic to something, exclude the dish from their menu.
- Don't forget about the decor of the dishes! They should continue the theme of the holiday.
- Be sure that everything we serve to our guests must be delicious!
Of course, the most important treat is the entertainment!
Knock it all out
Each participant will need to be timed, so you need to have a timer on your phone. Each participant takes turns hanging a bottle of water from a tree branch on a rope. The participant is blindfolded, spun around and handed a thick stick. At the “start” command, the participant begins to hit the bottle so that water spills out. The fight with the bottle continues until there is no water left in it. The participant who spends less time on this task than others will win and receive a prize.
What should the scenario be?
When all the children are in place, adults should immediately explain to them that they must behave especially carefully in nature. Children need to be shown where the toilet is so that all sorts of incidents do not arise later. In addition, little guests need to be told that the event will go according to plan: they will play, eat, and then the time for fun competitions will begin.
While the children are having fun, adults should set the table and make all the preparations for the competitions
. Caring parents should ensure that all children are comfortable and cozy. If you don't know any of the guys, introduce them to each other.
After the feast, the children should be divided into two teams to complete various tasks. The spirit of competition will certainly prevail and the children will follow the rules of the game.

Advantages of organizing a holiday away from home
If you don’t know how to celebrate a child’s birthday outdoors, then you should know that organizing such an event is much easier and more convenient than it seems at first glance. The main advantages include:
- Saving finances
- Parents will not have to pay for booking a restaurant/cafe, or for animator services. In addition, dishes prepared at home will cost several times less than similar items on the establishment’s menu.
- In nature there is absolutely no risk of breaking dishes/breaking furniture, which is quite possible in a cafe. This is also a significant plus for parents’ budget.
- A celebration away from the noisy city will undoubtedly benefit children: it guarantees them new emotions, a good mood and a healthy appetite.
- On the street, you won’t have to restrict your children’s movements while playing: they will have enough free space and they will be able to have fun, and you, in turn, will not waste your nerves worrying about the mess that the children will make.
What problems may arise when organizing a birthday?
Of course, parents should remember that a holiday in nature should take place exclusively in the warm season, when the kids will not be cold and they will be able to sit on the ground. In addition, you need to find out the weather forecast in advance and make sure that there is no forecast of rain/thunderstorms or other adverse weather conditions on the appointed day. In case of such unforeseen situations, parents need to be prepared to host the holiday in their home.
Numerous entertainments
How to spend this day?
To keep everything organized and fun, it’s worth drawing up a rough scenario that will include a variety of activities:
- Competitions. I have already written about home competitions. And just below I’ll make a list of those that can be spent outside.
- Don't forget about the fun piñata game. I have already written about it in more detail.
- I also have ball games on the street.
- Experiments. This will be interesting to everyone. And again I will prepare a list for you below.
- Another fun option is giant soap bubbles. Follow the link and see how you can make them.

- Dance and music quizzes.
It is very important to alternate these activities, from active ones to those where the kids can relax. Take a look at my article about summer outdoor games, I think you can get some useful ideas from it.
Promised lists:
Competitions:
- Treasure search. According to the clues left by one of the team players, the rest must find the treasure (sweets or something else). Hints can be different, in the form of riddles, puzzles, hand-drawn maps, etc.
; - Catch up with the ball (one person must push the ball, others must catch up);
- Track. A narrow winding path is drawn. Each member of the team must PASS it as quickly as possible. Result for the last one.
- Caterpillar. Everyone on the team stands behind each other and hugs the person in front by the waist. It turns out to be a “caterpillar”. And everyone starts walking;
- Catch your opponent. One team is given a head start. They must run away, leaving arrows behind them - the trajectory of their movement. Sometimes the arrows can be left false. When they go all the way, the other kids from the second team must follow their path unmistakably;
- Mikey. It is important to catch up with someone and touch them with your palm (to touch). Now he will have to catch up.
- T-shirts with a ball. It is not necessary to catch up, you can carefully throw the ball from a short distance (from which specific one, you need to agree in advance) and throw the ball so that it touches.
- Football! Both boys and girls adore him.
- "Beach" volleyball , when the rules are more simplified than in the present.
- "One" and "Nine". The ball is thrown around in a circle. Someone, not necessarily the first, says: “One.” Now everyone must count how many times the ball is thrown. When the ball is passed for the ninth time, the player who did so must say: “Nine.” If he doesn’t do it, he leaves the circle.
- "King". The goal of this game is for one participant to guess what the others are showing. First, arbitrary houses are installed, or they agree on where whose house is: this is a tree or another... A line is drawn between the house of the king and the rest of the guys. The kids agree on where they were and what they did: they fished in the river, picked berries in the forest, etc. Then they must pantomime show the king where they were and what they did. If the king did not guess correctly, he must catch up with the kids (they can escape from him in the house). Whoever he catches is the next “King”. If the king didn’t guess correctly and didn’t catch anyone, then he has to guess again.
- Fishermen catch fish. 2 participants stand opposite each other with outstretched arms, only their fingertips can touch. They are blindfolded. These are fishermen. Their task is to catch those kids who have to run between them. Caught, that means there is a catch.
- Hits. You need to hit a balloon tied to a branch with a cone, tennis ball or other object.
- Firefighters. The kids line up in 2 lines. Each of them has a plastic cup. Everyone’s glass is empty, and only the last one in the row has a glass filled with water. On command, the last kid pours the contents into the glass of the player standing next to him and runs to the beginning of the line. When it’s his turn to fill his glass, he needs to compare which team finished first and how much water is left.
- Edible/inedible. Hit the ball if the presenter names an inedible object. And catch it if it's edible.
- Bowling. Almost like adults, only instead of skittles, you need plastic bottles filled with water. And the ball is pushed with the foot.
- Classics. “Classics” are drawn on the asphalt for two teams, in any form. And the members of each team must quickly finish jumping on their squares in turn.
- School. 11 parallel stripes are drawn. The first is first class, the second is second, etc. The facilitator asks a question to each participant. If he answered, it means he moved to the next class.
- Fishing. The leader stands in the center, holding a rolling pin folded in half. The guys are standing in a circle. The leader should hold the rolling pin as low as possible on the ground. Kids must jump over the rolling pin. Whoever doesn't jump over, drives.
- Snake. Two participants hold the rolling pin at opposite ends. At first it was very low, but each time it got higher and higher. And the players must jump over it.
Experiences:
- Unwinding the bucket. You need a bucket more than half filled with water and a rope; tie it to the handle of the bucket. Children take turns spinning the bucket by the rope until they get the hang of doing it without spilling the water.
- Parachutist. We once talked about how to construct a parachute. And now everything is improvised. Each child must build a parachute from a bag and rope (thread), tie a small toy (skydiver), and launch! You can teach how to make a parachute out of paper; every child can fold it for themselves under your guidance.
- Ice floats on water. You can check this truth if you first freeze water in glasses. First insert a cocktail straw into each glass. Then, when the water turns into ice, it is taken out of the glasses and “sails” (a sheet of colored paper) are put on the tube. And they send these “ships” to float until they melt.
- The effect of salt on ice. Fill the balloons with water and freeze well. For the holiday, take them out, cut the balls and offer the children to salt the blocks of ice. Salt can be mixed with food coloring.
- Experiment-game with sunbeams. Catch a ray of sunshine with a mirror. This is how children learn what refraction of light is. Now you can play and let the “bunnies” jump. More games with a sunbeam: chase, catch, hide it.
- Vulcan on the table. Here is a simple recipe for witchcraft: add vinegar to baking soda as we do for the dough. Only there should be more soda, say 2 tablespoons. Place it in a saucer and pour vinegar straight from the bottle. A violent neutralization reaction will occur, the contents of the saucer will begin to foam and boil with large bubbles (be careful not to bend over!). For greater effect, you can fashion a “volcano” (a cone with a hole at the top) out of plasticine, place it on a saucer with soda, and pour vinegar into the hole from above. At some point, foam will begin to splash out of the “volcano” - the sight is simply fantastic! This experiment clearly shows the interaction of alkali with acid, the neutralization reaction.
- Desalination of liquid. Pour water into a basin and salt it. Place a glass in the basin. Inside of which put something to fix it, for example, a clean pebble. Stretch the film over the basin. Place a pebble on the film over the glass so that the film above the glass bends slightly inside it. Leave the basin in the sun for a while. The water heats up and rises, as steam settles on the film in droplets. It collects there and flows into the glass. After a few hours, clean, unsalted drinking water will accumulate in the glass. The salt remains in the basin.
Fun guaranteed! But why is it convenient at the dacha? Let's get a look.
