There is a tradition to annually congratulate your favorite teachers on their professional holiday. Students carefully prepare for this day in advance, rehearsing a festive concert, coming up with gifts and congratulatory speeches. Many classes surprise their teachers by inviting them to a table set in the classroom. And it is impossible to imagine a festive tea party without cake. A Teacher's Day cake is a wonderful gift for a respected teacher on his holiday.
Homemade Cakes
Of course, a confectionery product that was made by the hands of students is much more valuable for a teacher than the most luxurious and expensive cake. If you want to truly please your teacher, try baking a teacher cake at home. Think in advance about which cake recipe you will use, buy all the necessary products and decide which student will create a masterpiece. It’s even better if several mothers of students offer their help.
Using your imagination, you can make a great gift for a teacher with your own hands.

DIY cake for teacher as a gift
First of all, go to the nearest supermarket or stationery department and buy: colored pencils, pens, felt-tip pens or markers, notepads, paints, rulers, erasers, crayons, etc.
To make a teacher's birthday cake, you will need the following materials:
- cardboard boxes (they can be round, square or rectangular, it all depends on your imagination);
- double sided tape;
- glue;
- scissors;
- decorative ribbon or bow;
- elastic bands;
Manufacturing:
First of all, it is necessary to securely fix the cardboard boxes together, after painting them or wrapping them in decorative gift paper.
Well, now let’s start filling the unusual cake from stationery.
Choose one of the types of stationery you purchased and, using double-sided tape, attach it to the cardboard base of the cake. Secure the finished composition with a thin elastic band, which will later be hidden behind a decorative ribbon or bow.
Do the same with the remaining tiers. You can decorate the finished cake with buds of fresh or artificial flowers, beads, bows, sparkles, greeting cards, etc.

How to make “Graduation Cake”
Let's prepare the cake layers. To bake one cake: rub three yolks with 1.3 cups of sugar until white, add 300g of sour cream and beat. Then add 1.3 cups of flour mixed with 1 tsp. baking powder. Beat 3 egg whites and carefully mix into the resulting mixture. Bake the cakes in the oven, 200 degrees, 30-40 minutes.
Let's prepare the cream. Combine 1 cup milk and sugar, stirring and bring to a boil. Add flour, eggs and remaining milk. Bring the mixture to a boil, then let the cream cool and thicken.
Forming a cake. Grease the bottom cake with cream, place the next one on it, grease with cream again, and so on until the very top. Carefully coat the sides of the cake with the remaining cream. The cake needs to be shaped like a book.
Roll out the mastic into a thin layer.
Cover the cake with the resulting layer of mastic. Trim the edges with scissors.
All edges and irregularities of the mastic should be thoroughly sanded.
Using whipped cream, use a special attachment to form the pages of a book.
Using cream of a different color, we create a binding.
On the double page of the book, use food paint to apply the necessary inscription.
The bookmark is cut out from mastic painted with burgundy food coloring.
To make the inscription more prominent, each letter can be outlined with white chocolate.
Final chord. We make a bell out of mastic (dyed yellow with food coloring).
Graduation cake is ready! Bon appetit!
How to give a sweet gift to your teacher
Just giving a cake on a special day will be too banal. Congratulations on Teacher's Day to a dear teacher should be remembered for a long time by its originality and creativity. Decorate the classroom in advance: hang balloons, draw a festive poster, place a bouquet of flowers in a vase. You can attach autumn leaves to the walls, because Teacher's Day is an autumn holiday. Prepare everything for tea drinking, and place the main sweet gift on the teacher’s table.
Think about what song you will sing to your teacher when you congratulate him. You can read poetry or even perform a small theater performance. A cake, even one made from the simplest ingredients, will become a luxurious gift if you put a piece of your soul into it and congratulate your teacher on Teacher’s Day with the most sincere feelings.
Parents, if desired, can also take part in the congratulations. Come up with an interesting scenario and involve not only your students, but also your moms and dads. And at the end of the ceremonial part, you will all be able to sit together mentally over a cup of tea, treat yourself to a cake, and such moments, as a rule, bring people very close together.
How few holidays
If you count all the graduations that a child has, then there are not so many of them - only 5:
- Graduation from kindergarten;
- Completion of primary school;
- Graduation party after 9th grade of school;
- Graduation;
- Graduation from a university or secondary specialized educational institution.
That's all the holidays, of course, you can organize additional ones - the last bell, the first time in first grade. And to celebrate all this with a cake, but with the last bell it will be quite difficult, since final exams are just around the corner and the joy is not yet complete, and on the first of September the children do not yet know each other and quickly rush to their mothers after the bell.
A graduation cake should, of course, be delicious, but its main highlight is in the decoration, and not in the cake recipe from which it consists. In any case, if a mother wants to make such a cake with her own hands, then it is first necessary to interview the children, and for kindergarten and elementary school, their parents about allergies to any foods. The recipe for the graduation cake will depend on the answers received.
You can’t make sure that some child doesn’t taste this huge and delicious cake, so that it doesn’t leave an unpleasant aftertaste in his heart.
The last graduation from a university or other educational institution where they receive a profession will most likely not require baking, since the children are at such an age that they will not be very happy about baking and will remember the New Year's phrase: “If it comes to the cake, then the holiday was a failure.”
