Men love receiving gifts, although they will never admit it. Be it a boss or a subordinate, an employee, a co-worker or just a good acquaintance - everyone wants to accept signs of attention. A simple and unpretentious gift for a man can be made with your own hands in a few minutes, having paper and felt-tip pens on hand.
Using paper and glue you can make three-dimensional shapes:

Features of choice
When choosing a gift for a man, you should keep in mind that for them clothes and shoes are not considered a gift. It's just an everyday necessity.
It is best to make a present, taking into account your hobbies and passions. The best solution would be to choose a cool gift. Men love pranks, just like children. A video on how to make a cool birthday gift for a man with your own hands is at the end of the article.
Undoubtedly, beer lovers will love a cake made from cans and bottles of beer:

How to make a gift from sweets with your own hands: surprising men
Representatives of the stronger half of humanity always radiate confidence and steadfastness, but they, like children, rejoice at even insignificant souvenirs. And their bright presentation evokes genuine delight.
Here are some ideas for such gifts that can be brought to life (there will also be photos).
A pineapple
This is a symbol of the greatness and uniqueness of a creative person. By making such a souvenir, you are not just making a gift, but giving him a talisman. It helps brilliant ideas emerge and bring their plans to life. The manufacturing process is simple. You will need:
- A bottle of champagne;
- Round candies in gold wrapper;
- Green wrapping paper;
- Yellow sisal (these fabrics can be found in floral);
- Tourniquet;
- Glue gun.
I offer you a step-by-step photo of the creative process. All candies will need to be glued with pieces of double-sided tape on one side (or use a glue gun later).
Cut out several layers of pineapple tops from wrapping paper.
Now it's time to wrap the bottle in sisal.
Glue candies to the bottle in rows.
Glue the leaves at the top with double-sided tape and glue them in rows to the top of the bottle.
Ready.
For hobbies
Every man has some hobby to which he devotes a lot of time. When choosing a gift for your beloved man, you need to take this into account. You can give a fisherman a hand-made fish:

What to give to children
Chocolate figurines
A gift from our childhood - remember the figurines of Santa Claus that came across in almost every New Year's set? Then they collected dust in the closet for a long time, because the chocolate there was so-so. Now it’s a completely different matter: you can choose a figurine that will be both beautiful and tasty.
French Kiss Christmas trees, mice and bears are a real work of confectionery art made from high-quality premium chocolate. If you immediately feel sorry for eating them, it doesn’t matter: the shelf life of the figurines is 12 months.

Chocolate making kit

How about opening a candy factory at home during the holidays? And the child is at work, and you will probably get some of his creations.
To make homemade chocolate, you need cocoa butter and powder, sugar or honey and molds for bars or candies. You can buy all this in a set or separately, and be sure to add nuts and dried berries to the gift set to decorate the tiles.
Gingerbread house

And one more idea on how to keep your child occupied during the New Year holidays. Assembling a gingerbread house will be fun for the whole family, and leave the decoration to the youngest.
You can bake the elements for “construction” yourself or buy them in a ready-made kit. Add a couple of tubes of icing sugar and a bag of confectionery sprinkles for the outside “finish”.
Necessary and practical
Socks, panties and shaving accessories have long become traditional gifts, but they do not please men. To really surprise, you need to do something special. Everyone has a mobile phone, but not everyone has cases for them. You can also make a wallet with your own hands, a belt or a watch strap. Purses, key holders, business card holders - any of these accessories will bring joy to your loved one.

Chocolate equipment – motorcycle
Let's be honest, few people can resist sweets; neither gender nor age is a barrier.
For example, you know a respectable and serious man, but he has one small “sin”: he loves sweets, how can you surprise him? Let's give him a chocolate surprise, such a gift will be difficult to refuse. Let's make a motorcycle out of chocolate.
Sweet gifts
The myth that men don't eat sweets is just a myth that most men support. Give a box of chocolates and they will be offended. But decorate a gift of sweets in accordance with their hobbies - and there will be no limit to the joy!

This example provides a master class on the basis of which you can make other original gifts from sweets. To work you will need:
- candy box with a hinged lid;
- candies;
- Styrofoam;
- a printed copy of the Windows screensaver;
- scotch;
- glue;
- paper knife;
- foil;
- thick wire;
- scissors.
Flat candies are laid out on foam plastic around the perimeter of the future laptop. Two such pieces are cut out: for the base and for the monitor.
Both pieces of foam are wrapped in foil and candies are glued to them on both sides:
A printout with a Windows window is glued to the center of the future monitor and also covered with candy.
To make the keys look more realistic, you need to take tall rectangular candies. The sweet laptop is covered with candies on all sides, except for the two side panels, which will serve as mounting for the base and monitor. The two halves of the laptop are attached using a thick wire that pierces the foam and bent at the desired angle.
Attach the leaves to a skewer with candy
To do this, place the petals on a skewer to the candy and attach it with thread or tape to the base of the candy. We straighten the petals and wrap the stem skewer in green corrugated paper.
Follow these steps with all the candies and skewers and form a bouquet.
Then everything depends on your imagination. Crafts made from corrugated paper and candies are so diverse that only the availability of materials can stop your imagination. And you can get ideas on the Internet.
For older men
For established men 50-60 years old, it is more difficult to give a gift. It is advisable to give such people something durable so that they can pick it up and remember the person who gave this gift. Anniversary is a separate and very broad topic. But to please a loved one with a birthday or New Year's gift, you can choose from the examples above. In addition, you can make an original pen stand for a loved one:
Or sew an organizer:
Leaves
Corrugated paper is perfect; thanks to its volume, the leaves look like they are alive.
Choose the appropriate color of paper, cut out long strips, cut along the corrugation. The petals must be cut out like a garland so that they are connected to each other in one place.
To give the petal a natural look, twist the top of the leaf onto a pencil or skewer, depending on how much you want it to be curved.
Original gift ideas
Ordinary candies from the store can be presented in the form of toys or parts of original handicrafts. This version of congratulations will immediately lift the spirits of the hero of the occasion. It doesn't matter if it's a child or an adult. We all remain children at heart until the last days of our lives and love miracles.
Let's take a look at some nice DIY projects.
Christmas tree with candies
A Christmas tree made of sweets for the New Year, installed on the dessert table, will bring a festive atmosphere. We'll tell you how to make it from the simplest and most inexpensive materials.
For creativity we will need:
- fluffy Christmas tree garland, with shiny fluffs ranging from 2-4 cm in size;
- candies in candy wrappers, multi-colored or one tone;
- corrugated paper for crafts;
- a sheet of thick Whatman paper or cardboard;
- newspapers read;
- glue gun;
- stapler;
- sharp scissors;
- piece of wire.
We decorate the house and the Christmas tree with the children and try to select tinsel with candies of such color and material that they combine harmoniously. The photo shows how cute the Christmas trees are.
We make a Christmas tree in stages.
- We make a base from a sheet of thick paper. We roll up a small bag from whatman paper and secure it with a stapler and glue so that we get a hollow pyramid with a circle at the base.
- We cut off the excess piece of whatman paper with scissors. When cutting the bottom of the pyramid, we periodically place it on the table and check whether our cone is wobbly.
- We trace the bottom of the cone on paper or cardboard.
- Around the bottom we add allowances in the form of petals, which will be glued to the cone.
- We will put crumpled pieces of newspaper into the cone to improve the stability of the figure. This will make it easier to decorate the tree. We stuff the hollow part very tightly with newspapers. Our friends filled the cone with polyurethane foam. And other friends used a foam cone.
- Insert a piece of wire into the top of the cone and secure it with a glue gun. Bend the edge of the wire with a hook. It may come in handy when we want to hang our toy on a large Christmas tree or a furniture door or chandelier.
- We repeat the shape of the bottom on corrugated paper. It can be golden, green, silver, anything. The main thing is that it is beautiful. Bright, rich colors are preferable in this case.
- Glue the corrugated paper to the bottom.
- We glue the beautiful bottom to the base of the cone, bending the petals onto the cone, lubricating them with glue, pressing. We place the petals overlapping, crosswise, so that the bottom holds tightly.
- For a cone about 50 cm high, there will be two strips of corrugated paper of the same color as on the bottom. The strips should be approximately 60-65 cm, 5 cm wide.
- We wrap the strips around the cone in a spiral and glue it tightly, without gaps. So that through the tinsel the bare Whatman paper is not visible, but a golden (silver) cone.
- Now we’ll glue the tinsel you’ve chosen around the bottom circle. We use glue or a stapler. We do not fasten everything at once, but in parts, 4-6 cm each. This makes it more accurate.
- To the tinsel of the lower tier we will glue, by the edge of the candy wrapper, sweets, at a distance from each other, from 4 to 6 pieces. Candies can also be attached directly to a cone wrapped in a corrugated decorative strip.
- After a row of candies, we attach another row of tinsel to the cone.
- We glue a row of candies in a checkerboard pattern.
- We repeat the row of tinsel. We try to shape the Christmas tree so that “bald patches” are not visible between the rows of tinsel.
- We alternate to the very top: a row of sweets, a row of tinsel. Approaching the top of the cone, reduce the number of candies.
- When we reach the wire, we wrap it with tinsel in a spiral or straight stripes on both sides. We glue the tinsel to the wire and secure it with a stapler.
- At the junction of the wire and the cone, a beautiful bow, ball, or star from a set of Christmas tree decorations looks good.
We will hang a Christmas tree toy on a hook, placing the finished gift with sweets on the table or bedside table.
Doll in a candy dress
A wonderful gift could be a doll in a dress with sweets and bright beads, rhinestones, and beautiful satin ribbons.
When we prepare gifts for our daughter's Angel Day, we often buy dolls. You can put an organza skirt on a regular doll as a second layer. Sew it with large, hidden stitches of strong thread and decorate with sweets. Secure sweets and small chocolates to the skirt with a stapler or a couple of stitches of thread and a needle.
Rhinestones, a string of beads, ribbons, bows are picturesquely placed between the candies and you get a chic skirt. After all the candies have been eaten, the skirt is left as a decoration or removed, leaving the main clothing.
Candy machine
All boys love to receive cars as gifts. Such a toy can be glued together from rectangular-shaped candies or chocolate briquettes in paper packages. By folding chocolates and gluing them together, we create a toy in the shape of a car. Instead of wheels, we attach round, flat lollipops or round chocolates to the toy.
The headlights will be candy canes in candy wrappers with a smaller diameter. And as a windshield - sunglasses. Sometimes we cut glass from a transparent plastic bottle.
To make the shape of the car more accurate, we cut out patterns from cardboard or thick paper and paste it with sweets and chocolates in one layer. We make a pattern based on the child’s favorite car. We connect the parts with a stapler and glue gun.
On whatman paper, the snickers and bounty stick firmly and the shape of the car is conveyed well.
Sweet camera
A small box of sweets as a gift can be made in the shape of a camera body. We assemble it from whatman paper, cardboard covered with flat chocolates. Glue a semicircular candy as a button. The lens will depict a round box with light small candies.
Sweet sleigh
Everyone knows that there are long candies on sale, like rods with a diameter of up to 1 cm. Kids love them. If these sweets are slightly heated and bent, they will look like runners on a sleigh. Attach flat chocolates to such runners, plant a chocolate Santa Claus with bunnies and the Snow Maiden - you will get a wonderful winter gift.
If the runners are tied to the bottom chocolate bar with threads, they are covered with a second chocolate bar. It’s easy to glue the chocolates to each other by dropping a drop of glue onto the packaging.
Any options
Using rectangular candies and tiles, you can fold a piano. Use round lollipops to collect a huge raspberry. Crepe paper and round candies are suitable for making a ladybug. You just need to put in a little effort and use your imagination.
The photo shows what cute toys can be made from candies.
If you find it difficult to work with scissors and glue, take the easier route. A basket of sweets can be made from a simple hat box. Of course, it is better to wrap it in a sheet of golden corrugated paper. The handle can be a long candy from a series of oriental sweets. Fill the basket with cookies, gingerbread, and your favorite chocolate.
Any box can be given a festive look using lace, satin ribbon, nylon bows, and a string of beads. Place the decoration around the perimeter or between the chocolate bars. Let it be beautiful.
Chocolate card
You can buy a children's sketchbook made of good quality paper. Turn each sheet into a greeting card with kind and pleasant words.
And between the phrases glue flat chocolates. Make slits in the sheets in the right places. In the congratulatory album, add a personal painting of all the guests present at the holiday and poems.
And use the names of the treats in a sentence of good wishes. For example: we wish you a pleasant flight to Mars. And instead of the inscription, in this place, between the quotation marks, glue the well-known chocolate bar with the name “MARS”.
In this way, you can play with good wishes to your loved one on his birthday.
