What to name a squad in a camp
The children must come up with the name of the squad at the camp; if difficulties arise, then with the help of a counselor. Choosing the right name is very important, because it carries an emotional tone and unites children. The name must have meaning, it must be understandable and easy to pronounce, so when choosing, you must take into account the age of the children.
The guys will be able to show their creative abilities by reflecting in the name the idea of their team and common interests. Camps often have themed sessions, in which case the name should correspond to the theme. For example, if the camp has a maritime theme, then names such as “Pirates”, “Seafarers”, “Conquerors of the Seas” and the like would be appropriate. For older children, it is enough to explain what the name should be, for example, fighting, daring, bright, unusual. If there is no specific topic, then you can choose any one; there is wide scope for flight of imagination. But remember that it is important that the name is small and memorable.
Young children, of course, will need help; it will be difficult for them to come up with an unusual, beautiful name. In such a situation, counselors will help, they participate in the discussion, and gently guide the children’s thoughts in the right direction. Often, they have several options in stock, so they can easily choose a suitable name that will appeal to all the children. But the joy of joint creativity will remain. After all, a successful choice of name is the first success of a detachment.
Rules of conduct on stage
- You cannot stand with a microphone in line with the speakers. It will start to make noise.
- Do not place the microphone on the floor.
- When leaving backstage, it is better to turn off the radio microphone.
- Do not put the microphone close to your lips. The effect of “spitting” and “rapid breathing” may occur.
- Always keep the microphone directly in front of you.
- The microphone on the stand can be adjusted to suit your height.
- It's better not to move around with a corded microphone.
- You don't need to go close to the edge of the stage, as your face will be in the shadows.
- You should only enter and leave the stage using the steps.
- All movements on stage must be justified: you cannot count crows, scratch yourself, straighten your hair, etc.
- Participants should be evenly distributed around the stage, no part should be overloaded.
- You can only move around the hall during breaks between performances.
- You are not allowed to touch stage clothing. It should be quiet behind the scenes and under no circumstances should anyone peek out from behind them.
How to create a squad motto
The motto is as important as the name. He explains the name and gives an introduction to the unit. The motto should be short but to the point; it contains a call. It is also called a chant or chant. Creating a motto helps to unite children and organize them. It is very important to set the children up, to cheer them up; you can tell stories on a chosen topic or read poetry. After this, it will be easier to compose a motto in rhyming form. For example, if the name of the squad is “Cosmonauts,” then the motto could be:
“We are flying quickly to the target, we will defeat all the troops!”
Speeches are used to raise the team spirit of the squad, pronounced at training camps, at roll calls, during competitions, even on the way to the dining room. The names of the units and mottos in the camp are interconnected concepts; they should be interesting, fun and original.
What else should not be allowed in stage performances at camp?
- You cannot walk in front of the stage in the area where the equipment and switching are located. Strictly hammer this rule into the children’s heads!
- You cannot stand with a microphone in line with the speakers. It will start to make noise. People sin like this even in theatrical creative shifts, which for me personally is completely nonsense - judge for yourself, how can an ARTIST not know the basic things when working with a microphone?
- Do not place the microphone on the floor. For this I am ready to hang myself and furiously do a-ta-ta! The amplitude depends on how hard the microphone was dropped or placed on the floor! Or don’t be surprised if something suddenly goes off on stage. Yes, yes, my revenge is terrible)))
- You cannot go backstage with the radio microphone turned on (unless it is a voice-over in the act).
- Do not put the microphone close to your lips. The effect of “spitting” and “rapid breathing” may occur.
- The microphone should always be held directly in front of you. The head (if the microphone is in your hands and not on a stand) should turn directly with the microphone AND ONLY SO!
- The microphone on the stand needs to be adjusted to suit your height. BY YOURSELF! THIS IS ELEMENTARY! Or let the assistants overseeing your squad's numbers backstage help the soloist adjust his stance! The sound engineer is not obliged to leave his workplace because of your crooked hands and sluggishness!
- You can't twirl around the stage with a corded microphone. Sooner or later you will add more work to the camp doctors. Or you will purchase a fleet of equipment for it instead of the one that suddenly failed.
- You cannot come close to the edge of the stage, as your face will be in the shadow.
- You can't jump on stage. You should only enter and leave the stage using the steps. We stop the event and shamefully force them to return normally to the hall and climb up the side steps to the stage again. So, let them know their responsibility to the team.
- All movements on stage must be justified: you cannot count crows, scratch yourself, straighten your hair, etc.
- Never let someone who is known not to sing perform as a soloist. Respect the audience's ears!
- When performing in a group, do not put inactive children in front. Remember that the viewer's attention is focused on the speakers in front.
- Participants should be evenly distributed around the stage, no part should be overloaded.
- You are not allowed to move around the hall during the performance! Regardless of age, the degree of importance of the reasons that prompted you to do this, status and position. We ask the offender to leave the hall. NO OPTIONS! Need to go out? Go to the other side of the hall? Please, but only during breaks between performances.
- You are not allowed to touch stage clothing.
- You cannot make noise behind the scenes during the host’s words or the numbers of other participants.
- You can't look out from behind the scenes!
- Rooms in which the mouth opens under plywood; Under no circumstances should presenters be allowed on stage without microphones.
- You cannot turn your back to the audience.
- You cannot create “empty moments” on stage. Roughly speaking, so that the stage is not empty for a single second
- Children should not be allowed to chew gum on stage; the musical repertoire should be selected in accordance with the age category of the children performing.
- No running around the stage. All the more unreasonable. If a person needs to be on a certain side on stage, then let him go up on stage FROM THIS SAME SIDE! You always have the time and opportunity to bring this moment to automaticity during rehearsals and run-throughs!
- No cell phone distractions. Interrupting the words of the presenter or number to answer the call. THERE IS NO PLACE FOR MOBILE PHONES TURNED ON AT ALL AT THE EVENT! Can't explain this to people? Let them not be surprised at the “winding up” of radio microphones!
- In the case when the sound performer occupies the seats of the first row of the auditorium, that is, his workplace is not attached to the stage, it is PROHIBITED to occupy the 2 closest seats to the right and the 2 closest seats to the left of the sound performer. NO OPTIONS!
At the very first planning meeting we create rules of behavior on stage. Let's get acquainted with the signature. After which we decline responsibility for force majeure circumstances associated with violations by the performers of the above paragraphs of the rules. The task is to teach people to understand basic things and at least shift responsibility onto people FOR THEIR OWN behavior.
Funny scenes for the opening of a summer camp
Summer has begun, and a children's health camp will soon open its doors. By the beginning of the camp shift, the counselors and guys are preparing interesting concert numbers. These can be funny poems, songs, dance compositions, funny miniatures.
For the opening of the camp in 2021, you can act out scenes based on fairy tales and cartoons, stories from the humorous magazine “Yeralash”. The audience really likes such productions, and preparing them is not that difficult.
Skits for children for the opening of the camp session in 2021
The event scenario for the beginning of a shift at a summer camp may include performances by different teams. For example, you can act out funny scenes in which the teams “Athletes” and “Bad Guys” participate.
First, “Athletes” appear on stage and read a chant: “Our squad is a champion!” We're going to the stadium. Hey, athletes, line up, Our squad will be the best! Is our captain here? Here! Come out to the field as soon as possible. It is an honor to support the squad.
Counselors: - One, two! - In order... Three, four! - Line up! Three four! - To exercise. One, two! - All!
Guys: - Left, right! - Running, swimming, We grow brave, Tanned in the sun. Our legs are fast. Mark our shots. Our muscles are strong, And our eyes are not dull. Counselors: - One, two! - In order. Three four! - To exercise!
Then, in this miniature for children, at the opening of the camp session, the “Bad Guys” perform, who also read the chant: “One-two!” - We didn't eat. Three four! - We want to eat! Open the doors wider, otherwise we'll eat the cook! We'll eat as cooks and demolish the dining room! We'll turn all the tables and leave happy.
Then cooks in white caps appear on the stage, holding ladles in their hands. “One, two, tomatoes, Three, four, cucumbers,” say the canteen workers. The “bad guys” read the chant: “Five-six, we are gluttons, Seven-eight, we are tomboys.” One-two - apples, Three-four - pears. We are going to the dining room, We want to eat!
But the cooks drive away the “Bad Guys” and invite the disciplined and neat “Athletes” into the dining room. Several guys appear on stage. One of them says: - Be active... The rest say in chorus: - We want! – We want to be sporty! – We want to be healthy! – We want to be cheerful! – And for this we need: Play different games, sing and dance! The squad continues in unison: “We promise!” – Eat well, listen to your teachers! Strive, achieve and smile more! All in chorus: “We promise, we promise, we promise!”
“We will obey the laws of our camp.”
- Law of territory. No one can leave without permission.
- Law of greenery. Not a single broken branch. Let's keep our camp green!
- The Law of Friendship. One for all and all for one!
- The law of creativity. Create always, create everywhere, create for the joy of people!
- We promise!
At the end of this skit, prepared for the opening of the camp, the counselors will read the poems: - The path is open for the camp shift, Summer beckons with a cheerful smile, The sun is shining in the sky, illuminating your path. We wish you success and roaring laughter. Create and dare, friends, don’t get tired!
Another sketch for the opening of a summer camp
At the opening of the camp session in 2021, you can stage a skit with the participation of pirates with your children. We offer a scenario for such a miniature.
The squad's number for the opening of the camp begins with several guys running onto the stage and shouting: “Polundra!” All hands on deck! - We've been captured by pirates! – Now we will live by their rules! Two formidable pirates appear: - Well, weaklings, are you scared? Listen to what awaits you now. And just try to squeak!
Next, the participants in this funny scene at a summer camp unroll a long scroll and read out the daily routine. 1st pirate: - Early in the morning, early in the morning, the Pirate does exercises! 2nd pirate: – Rise at 7.30. Charger. 1st pirate: - After charging, a real pirate puts everything in order and is happy about it. 2nd pirate: – Deck cleaning at 8.00. 1st pirate: - Go to breakfast together and gain strength. 2nd pirate: – Breakfast at 9.00.
1st pirate: - Whistle everyone up! The team is all assembled! The captain will tell you what awaits you at sea. 2nd pirate: – Morning gathering of troops at 9.30. 1st pirate: – Do you want to always be first? Play sports - yes! 2nd pirate: – Sports and recreational event at 10.00. 1st pirate: - To set off on a long journey, you need to eat well! 2nd pirate: – Lunch at 12.00. 1st pirate: – Our journey was very difficult, It’s time for the pirates to rest! 2nd pirate: – Quiet hour at 13.30.
1st pirate: - After sleep, let’s refresh ourselves a little for the hike. 2nd pirate: – Afternoon tea at 15.30. 1st pirate: - Go ahead, sailors, drop the anchors! We're off to the open sea, friends! 2nd Pirate: – Afternoon event at 16.00. 1st pirate: - It's time, it's time, my friend, for the Pirate to eat again! 2nd pirate: – Dinner at 18.00.
1st pirate: - We have no time for prayer in the evening - The time has come for a decisive battle. 2nd pirate: – An interesting event at 19.00. 1st pirate: - A fun evening awaits you! Everyone's off to the disco! Raise the anchors! 2nd pirate: – Disco at 20.30. 1st pirate: - Night fell on the ship. May you dream of a new victory. 2nd pirate: – Lights out at 22.30. 1st pirate: – Is everything clear to everyone? And try to break this schedule! 2nd pirate: - And now we will set sail, but first you must take an oath. I'll ask everyone to stand up.
According to the script for the opening of the summer camp, after each sentence the guys must say: “We swear!”
The pirates read out the oath: – Never leave your pirate brother in trouble (We swear!) – Fight and win, overcome all difficulties with a smile on your face. – Remember that the main qualities of true romantics are honesty, nobility, generosity and kindness. – Listen to the captain of the ship, always help him in everything.
1st pirate: - Well, our voyage begins. Raise the anchors! Take mooring lines! Full speed ahead! 2nd pirate: - Forward, my friends, towards exploits and adventures! – Let everyone at the summer camp find their favorite activity, many new good friends! – May this summer be the sunniest, warmest, most unforgettable from your smiles and warm hearts!
And at the end of this scene, at the opening of the camp shift for children, the following poems will be read: - Our camp is like a ship, Sailing into the blue distance Towards you and the guys, Towards sunny days. The ship will not abandon you, It will take anyone on board, It will ask about your life, It will keep you busy with useful things. And all the passengers together are a big, big family, living very friendly, like you, and like him, and like me!
