Serif placement
Many people doubt where it is best to place serifs. In calligraphy, they are located at the beginning and end of a stroke, and now you will learn where serifs should be in Latin letters. For lowercase letters (b, d, h, k, l), serifs are used only on the upper left descenders (rising stroke). On the baseline they can be double-sided (as in the base l) or at the bottom right (downward stroke).
