Congratulations on your birthday and other holidays in pre-revolutionary Russian.

Postcard text

Hello and don't be sad! I send you my respects and congratulations - happy birthday to you, your tall child. Year after year, like a river running, day after day like rain, your day has come to celebrate. You will have fun and make fun of yourself, you will go on a spree and indulge in mischief. Listen to my story and my wishes: may the red sun smile through your window every morning, illuminate every single day with nothing but happiness. Let a straight path lead you into life, let the silken grass stroke your feet, let the gentle wind embrace you. Let Mother Earth bestow with kind strength. So that you can surprise the world with your intelligence and efficiency. So that the dashing one-eyed one would not grab you, and sadness would not grab you from a zealous heart. Friends faithful to you for the rest of your life and love such that you will be envied. May your aspirations come true and your dreams come true!

  • Postcard theme: funny Happy Birthday greetings

Decor

There are no particular difficulties, but there are a lot of details. Ask your friends to sort out the mezzanine and dacha supplies - probably something suitable for decoration in the Russian folk style is stored there.

If not, arm yourself with cardboard and paints, print and glue the images. Buy wallpaper, paper, napkins and fabrics with national patterns. Suitable for decoration:

The stove is a chic photo zone for a themed party in Russian folk style!

For example, cardboard, painted or photo wallpaper. But we recommend a partially functional option:

On such a stove you can pose for a photo (lying straight or sitting, like Emelya!) or put treats on it. It will turn out very atmospheric!

The meaning of amulets among the ancient Slavs

The circle of Svarog is the heavenly path along which the Sun moves, passing through 16 palaces

Previously, people were divided into palaces depending on their date of birth. The division is similar to a horoscope. Those born under the palace had similar character traits.

The Svarog Circle represents an area in the sky; the Sun moves along it. The circle is usually divided into 16 parts, each of which is protected by a deity. The person will be endowed with powers and qualities that distinguish him from people born on a different date.

The difference between the Svarog Circle and the signs of the Zodiac lies in the number of constellations and the complexity of the structure. A circle can tell more about a person and has a greater influence on his life. It is capable of covering all spheres of human existence and has a strong impact on people.

Invitation

Of course, in the Russian folk style there is an imitation of the ancient Slavic font and the address prince-princess or boyar-boyaryna, synonyms party - festivities, competitions - fun, dancing - dancing to ditties.

We sincerely ask you to visit us, Come, honest people! We will sing and dance until the night Al until the morning, as it goes! (time, place and dress code on the back).

There are a lot of options for designing invitations.

For example, you can print the base for a postcard under Gzhel, Khokhloma or another type of Russian folk painting. Make a cardboard balalaika, stove, bast shoe. Or button accordion: two rectangles with an accordion of paper inside. Just write the invitation text first, and then fold the sheet.

A funny matryoshka postcard consisting of several pages

(usually opens like a book). The text is divided into parts: to read it, you need to scroll through the “matryoshka” to the end.

Wishes for newlyweds for a wedding in Russian folk style

Oh, you are a goy, beautiful maiden, (name) light (patronymic)! Accept with bow and respect, glorious words addressed to you! On your birthday, a bright winter (or indicate the time of year) day. Please accept my wishes, not just words, but those spoken from the heart and with the soul. May blessings be with you, the blessed Lada and the great Family. Your beauty will increase, so that your hands will not know weariness. Wisdom will increase in your bright head, and it will spill and splash on us. May your life as a woman last, and may it end with a successful marriage. May the Dear Gods send you a wise and strong husband. Strong and mighty. Notably gifted with heroic prowess. So that your house becomes a full cup. So that your enemies would not envy you, but would only feel respect.

* * *

From this day (day, month, year of wedding) I command the young man (name of the groom) and the beautiful maiden (name of the bride) to be considered husband and wife, who have mutually agreed to exchange their free and free life for a married one, and therefore they should only be accepted together, and not separately take seriously, for they are one indivisible and whole. The spouse should be the head of the family, earn a living, and not look at other beauties. Let the wife not fear her husband, but love him, honor and respect him as a hero; does not tease, does not anger, feeds well, but in moderation, so that he does not become passive in business and does not become obese. May you live a joyful and happy life. Give birth to a heroic son and a beautiful daughter. Keep the door to the hut open for the sake of real and cheerful guests. The soul lives not with Persian carpets, but with overseas crystals, but with true friends. Don’t forget your father and mother, share your sorrows and joys with them, use your parents’ wise advice. Do all household chores together, keep the room clean, start family rituals, sing funny songs, drink fruit and spring water. This order must be preserved and protected, for it contains unprecedented power. And if something bad happens between you, take out this order, sit side by side, read it thoughtfully and the bitter quarrel will be settled, you will have peace and harmony, joy and happiness in your home. Fulfill the order and teach your children strictly according to it.

Re: Original congratulations on a birthday in the style of the 19th century, help

Dear Madam…………!
Departing from the generally accepted practice of saying compliments in such letters, although well deserved by you, I allow myself to follow the dictates of my heart and hasten to congratulate you on your birthday, while wishing you many, many years and serene happiness.

I don’t dare to think that you doubt my boundless devotion to you and the deepest respect with which I have the honor to be

Your humble servant………….

***** ____________________________________________________________________________________ The author is not me. If this is your girlfriend, then you can partially use the love letters of the great classics. For example, A.S. Pushkin - to the Bride N.N. Goncharova:

Moscow, March 1830* (city and date need to be changed)

Today is the anniversary of the day I first saw you; this day... in my life...

The more I think, the more convinced I am that my existence cannot be separated from yours: I was created to love you and follow you; all my other concerns are nothing but delusion and madness. Far from you, I am haunted by regrets about the happiness that I did not have time to enjoy. Sooner or later, however, I will have to give up everything and fall at your feet. The thought of the day when I will be able to have a piece of land in... alone smiles at me and revives me in the midst of heavy melancholy. There I will be able to wander around your house, meet you, follow you...

Good luck!

FAQ:

  • What happens if the birthday person's phone is temporarily unavailable?
If the recipient's phone is busy, turned off, or he does not pick up, then our system will call him at increasing intervals for 10 hours until the subscriber picks up. Yes, congratulations will be delivered to any phone anywhere in the world. It is important to indicate the recipient's phone number correctly. Happy birthday greetings in Slavic. Happy birthday greetings in Russian style

Happy Unity Day, Slavs, congratulations! I wish you great success and joy! To all brothers in spirit and blood - May there be peaceful roads to the future!

Create your own happiness, create, Fight for good, do not retreat, So that our friendship, the age-old glory, only grows over the years, without fading!

*

To tears and anxiety - give handkerchiefs, toothbrushes, soap, washcloths, brushes, mops, washing powder and other detergents and cleaning products.

*

Guests are never invited in numbers of nine, thirteen, eighteen, twenty-one, fifty, ninety-nine and one hundred people. These numbers shorten the life of the birthday person.

*

It is not recommended to serve pancakes on the table on name days if a rice dish (pilaf) is planned for the main course. They don’t put a pig’s head on the table, they don’t eat pigeons. These dishes are the death of the birthday boy.

*

Suits

Perhaps this is the most time-consuming part if you want not just stylization, but Russian folk “historicism” in clothing. You will have to prepare for the party ahead of time, sew something, and look for something in the shops. You can rent costumes - contact an agency or a local cultural center.

Don't forget to choose shoes - closed shoes, short boots.

Let the guys wear simple shoes. Bast shoes are difficult to get, and not everyone is comfortable walking in them. Kirzachi boots will also be suitable, but your feet will be hot in them, especially if the party is held indoors (you can take a few photos and change your shoes).

We offer the least labor-intensive options:

The Russian folk style is emphasized by large earrings and beads, a long braid

(your own or artificial), headband ribbon. It’s easy to make kokoshniks from base cardboard and bright fabric (decorate with embroidery, ornaments, beads).

Clothes for guys - light summer or regular dark/striped trousers, a casual shirt, a belt or sash, a cap. Linen or cotton men's tunics are suitable. At the end of the article we will tell you how to easily sew a real kosovorotka for a Russian folk party.

We sew a men's shirt-shirt

The shirt is loose, but you need to know the approximate size. The main thing is not to make a mistake with the length of the sleeves. You can sew without a machine, using a reverse stitch (if you don’t have a machine).

Detail 1

– rectangle, “body”. The length of the shirt multiplied by two. Width according to dimensions (waist in the “pot-bellied” place and allowance so that the shirt sits loosely). Fold the piece in half, mark the neckline, cut it out.

Details 2

– sleeves, rectangles. Desired sleeve width multiplied by two.

Line 3

- a slit so you can put the shirt over your head. It must be on the side (that’s why the shirt is called a blouse).

The treats are hearty, plentiful and for every taste!

The table should literally be bursting with a variety of fish, meat and vegetable dishes on the menu - a traditional feast.

Entertainment

Noisy partying until you drop - that’s the whole scenario for a party in the Russian folk style, and there’s no need to invent any plots. Just alternate between active competitions and quizzes to give guests a chance to catch their breath. We offer several entertainments.

Turnip

(you just need something to grab onto).

This is a test of strength, traditionally for men. But, as they say, there are women in Russian villages. So optional.

“Turnip” grabs a pole (or something else that definitely can’t be moved). One person grabs him around the waist and pulls “a turnip from the garden.” Everyone counts to five. Did you survive? Another one clings to the waist of the first one. The winner is the one who can withstand the longest line of “pullers” for five seconds.

Pan

(on the floor or ground you need to mark a circle half a meter in diameter).

Two teams (for example, peasants and boyars). Give guests a minute to remember who is from which team or tie ribbons of two colors on their sleeves. Everyone stands around the “frying pan” so that the participants are distributed through one, friend, foe, friend.

Everyone dances in a circle. The music stops. You need to quickly push a player from the other team into the frying pan. The first one to step in is eliminated. The team that has the numerical superiority of those remaining in the round dance wins.

Include Russian folk dances in the party script: Kamarinskaya, Trepak, Cossack, Kalinka, etc., there are more than two dozen of them, just the most popular ones! Don't forget to download the appropriate music and watch the basic movements to show them to your guests.

Pile

(nail or dart, metal ring or stylization)

This is a competition for accuracy, competition in teams or one at a time. Place a ring the diameter of a large apple on the foam (if you're indoors) or on the ground. Three attempts, the goal is to throw the “spear” so that it sticks into the area indicated by the ring. First they throw from two steps, then from three, etc., until a winner is identified.

Swan, crayfish and pike

(ropes or strong ropes)

According to the script, the party guests are divided into threes, and then - whatever you want. You can identify the winners in each top three. Or continue the game until the end until there is only one winner left.

Make “bundles” of three ropes. The loose ends need to be tied around the waist of each of the three participants. Now all three are “pulling the cart” in their direction. The winner is the one who “pulled” two, i.e. dragged them along with him at least a little.

Don't forget about gifts/rewards for all party guests.

These can be any little things in the Russian folk style - amulets (herbal jars, horseshoes, brownies), painted dishes (cups, spoons), boxes or beads, etc.

(Quiz) The presenters give a definition of a Russian folk song, and the audience, as an answer, sings the first 4 song lines (or the chorus of the song). All participants receive small songbooks or music CDs with Russian folk songs as prizes.

PUZZLES

The peddler asks riddles, and the audience who guesses them correctly receives the corresponding item from the box.

I want to make a riddle for the birthday girl now. If he answers me correctly, I will give you the prize immediately! Riddle for the birthday girl: There is an oak tree, there are twelve nests on the oak tree, There are four tits in each nest, Each tit has seven eggs! (Year, months, weeks, days)

The peddler presents the hero of the day with a gift calendar.

1 Presenter: Very often Russian proverbs and sayings were heard at gatherings. These are real little works of art! They reflect all aspects of people’s lives: home, family, social. 2 Presenter: It’s time to check whether our guests are familiar with this type of folk art.

1 Presenter: Proverbs and sayings contain folk wisdom, so you can safely use them as predictions for the future, friendly wishes and advice that you need to listen to carefully. Peddler : Exactly! My box contains lollipops especially for your honest company, but not simple ones, but with a twist! Each candy comes with its own special proverb or saying. It is important to grasp its meaning, accept it as wise instruction and follow it.

The peddler opens the box and hands each guest a lollipop, while pronouncing proverbs, which can be written down (so as not to memorize) on the lid of the box, or can be attached in the form of notes to the lollipops.

Peddler : So my box is empty! The last thing left, especially for the birthday girl!

The peddler hands the celebrant a handicraft box with the words:

The guests form a round dance, the hosts and the birthday girl are in the center. The round dance begins to move, the hosts take turns pronouncing the line, and the guests repeat the last word twice.

ROUND SONG

Until the guests open the circle, the hosts propose holding a competition.

1 Presenter : A bright, precise, concise, biting, unexpected, decisive, brave and perky girl came to our gatherings! She loves the cheerful tunes of a balalaika player or an accordion player. Guess what her name is?
