New Year is not only the most joyful holiday, it is also the most elegant. At this time, everything is transformed: streets, courtyards, hospitals, apartments, shops, kindergartens and schools. It is especially important to dress up the school, because no one looks forward to the New Year more than schoolchildren: it brings them not only the desired gifts, but also the holidays.

That is why the atmosphere here should be the most wonderful. Funds are not always allocated for New Year's decorations; parents of different classes have to organize everything on their own, which does not always make them happy. But not so long ago there was not so much purchased jewelry and such things were organized only thanks to improvised means and imagination.

  • Safety first.

Corridor decoration

To decorate the school for the New Year, including the corridors, you should involve the children. Children will happily take part in this event, especially primary schools, children from 1st to 5th grade.

First, have each student make a craft or poster at home and bring the product to school. Place voluminous crafts on window sills or place them in corners. Hang beautiful New Year's posters along all the walls, and you can also hang small decorations there.

Collect all the tinsel you have, sort it by color and decorate the top of the walls, organizing it into something reminiscent of an awning. Can be secured with tape or paper clips. The corridors will simply shine for the New Year.

Secondly, use everything you were planning to throw away. For example, if you have old tulle or gauze, do not rush to throw it away. You can do this with fabric: make beautiful waves and tie them with tinsel. The structure can also be placed anywhere: on the walls, under the windowsill and even under the ceiling.

The ceiling itself is decorated with snowflakes or rain for the New Year. In a subject such as technology, a class teacher and students can cut out and glue a huge number of snowflakes, which are attached to the ceiling with a thread or safety pin.

New Year's glass

Today it is very fashionable to decorate glass with different winter-themed pictures. This could be the image of Santa Claus with his granddaughter, a forest, winter games and entertainment. Techniques such as “decoupage” are excellently used to decorate external glass.

For New Year's decoupage you need beautiful New Year's napkins, with drawings of Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, snowflakes, snowmen, which must be cut out and glued to the glass with PVA glue. Using a thick brush, carefully coat the surface of the picture with the same glue and sprinkle it with glitter. When the work dries, the glue becomes transparent and only a beautiful design remains. For expressiveness, you need to draw the edging of the picture; this can be done using gouache or a tube of henna.

Winter-themed drawings will also look great on school glass. No less interesting is the technique with glue and glitter. Take PVA glue and use it to draw patterns that are sprinkled with glitter on top. When all this dries, patterns remain very similar to the drawings of Frost, which we all remember from childhood. After the holiday everything is easily cleaned up.

Decorating a school on September 1: decorating a school yard, ideas with photos

School time, like all holidays held in warm weather, is celebrated in the schoolyard. Almost all schools have their own courtyard, intended just for school holidays. Steps, windows, facade - all this looks special on September 1st. But not only the location of the festive event is decorated at school, the trees and alleys also deserve attention. Below are photos with options for decorating the yard for an important school holiday.

  • Photo zone;

  • Decorating flower beds with balls;

  • Decorating the entrance with a streamer of balloons;

  • Decoration of the concert area;

  • Painting on the walls;

  • Stretching inscription from September 1;

  • Creating an arch from balloons;

  • Alley decoration;
  • Making garlands of paper flowers;

  • Beautiful landscaping.

Foyer decoration

To decorate the foyer, each school must take part in a city event for the best Christmas tree decoration for the New Year. Schoolchildren and their parents make wonderful toys of various sizes and bring them to school. It will be convenient to organize exhibition platforms and place them in different places. For example, place a desk in a corner or between school windows, decorate it with the same gauze and tinsel, and then install crafts on it. This will be both interesting and useful, because parents rarely do anything with their children.

And if you add glitter to your creations, the feeling of a fabulous holiday will become even more real. Pillars in the foyer and corridors can be wrapped in tinsel and decorated with rain along their entire length. But under no circumstances “improve” risers and batteries - this is prohibited by fire safety rules. The fire hydrant and fire extinguisher must also be freely accessible and visible. You can lightly decorate the wooden base of the box, but not the glass.

For the ceiling in the foyer for the New Year, they use not only raindrops attached to cotton wool, but also snowflakes on a colorless fishing line, which will give them the appearance of floating in the air. You can also cut out small spirals in a circle from blue, white and blue paper, you will get a “home-grown” serpentine. Transparent beads on threads that will resemble icicles in their appearance are well suited. In fact, every child, especially girls, has them in their home.

Festive stand

An excellent decoration for a school foyer for Teacher’s Day can be a festive stand with photographs of teachers. Try to choose the most beautiful and original photographs. Decorate the stand with flowers, drapery, and balloons.

An original option for decorating a school foyer for Teacher’s Day could be a wish tree or wish tree. If it’s a wish tree, then let teachers write their deepest desires on pieces of paper. And if there are wishes, then let the students fill the tree with the kindest and most sincere wishes addressed to their beloved teachers.

Decoration of the assembly hall

The assembly hall occupies a central place in any holiday, and even more so in the celebration of the New Year. Here you should try your best. But the whole class must also be involved in this issue. To stimulate work, announce a competition and award diplomas and certificates for the best creativity; today this is more relevant than ever.

Large balloon figures or crafts that children make together with their parents will look great in the assembly hall. For example, snowmen: they can be made using threads, glue and balls.

Snowmen made of threads and balls

Inflate three balloons of different sizes. If, according to plans, the snowman should stand on the floor on New Year’s Day, the ball must immediately be loaded, for example, with heavy washers or stones, and then inflated. For hanging toys, you don't need to do anything. Carefully wrap white thread in a circle, layer by layer, coating each layer with PVA glue. The ball should virtually disappear under the web of threads. Dry it, then take the dry ball in your hands, burst it with a needle, carefully eliminate the remnants of the ball, only a ball remains in your hands. You fasten the balls together with threads, decorate them with glitter and sequins. From colored paper you roll up the nose and cut out the eyes; you can glue everything on with double tape.

Crafts of this type are not expensive and very beautiful. Using the same principle, you can make Christmas tree (ceiling) balls, Christmas wreaths (from sausage balls), and bells. Bells are made a little more complicated, but quite accessible.

Bottle bells

For bells you will need plastic bottles of any size. The length you need (usually 15 cm) is removed from the neck and the bottle is cut off. The bottom part is thrown away (or used as a cup). The result is an almost finished bell, all that remains is to decorate it with gouache and glue on glitter. Then tie a beautiful bow at the base, just below the cork.

Bows, by the way, are generally a universal decoration: they can be attached both to the Christmas tree and to the walls. Making them is easy and simple. Tie a piece of fabric or foil in the center and, voila, the bow is ready!

Classroom decoration for the New Year

Decorating the classroom for Christmas is a favorite activity for all students, but again, they should not be allowed to do it without adult supervision.

The guys can prepare a large New Year's poster with personal photographs in advance. But since our theme is New Year’s, every boy must cut out a red cap, and every girl must have a blue cap, like the Snow Maiden’s. Decorate the poster with snowflakes and sparkles and write a few short congratulations for the whole class, teachers and parents. You definitely need to dress up the board by hanging tinsel around its perimeter. It is better not to glue anything to the ceiling in the classroom, so that it all does not fall on the students and distract from the educational process.

  • The classroom windows can be decorated with stenciled white designs, but only a little. Light must penetrate in sufficient quantities into the classroom.
  • Cabinets lend themselves well to decoration. They can be decorated and painted either lengthwise or crosswise. But, again for safety reasons, there should be nothing on the cabinets themselves.
  • Flowers (by the way, they have also been banned in schools for some time now) are excellent at masquerading as any holiday. They can be decorated with paper snowflakes and small homemade Christmas tree decorations.

And on the door of each classroom you can hang a wreath of pine cones or some other material. Let the guys compete: announce a competition for the most beautiful wreath.

A simple and affordable way to give children a holiday and a real surprise is to decorate the doors to their classrooms. All you need is colored paper and a little imagination.

DIY Christmas wreaths

A New Year's wreath can be made from spruce legs and wire, neatly tied together in a circle, decorated with tinsel and small Christmas tree decorations.

You can also make a wreath from salt dough. To do this, you need to take 1 kilogram of flour and 1 kilogram of salt, mix all this with about 500-700 milliliters of water and after thoroughly stirring it, use it for crafts. They take cardboard as a basis: cut out a circle, cut out the inner circle to make a donut. The dough is divided into two parts 1:3. Place most of the dough in a circle on a cardboard base. Level it with hands dipped in water, making the surface smooth.

The remaining dough will be used to make decorations. First, roll a few balls, make a couple of bows, etc. Attach them to the surface of the donut. From above, using a garlic press, you need to squeeze out curls around the entire perimeter of the circle, pressing everything lightly so that the patterns fit tightly. You need to bake such a creation in the oven, like a regular pie, at 180 degrees. Finished products are painted and decorated with sparkles. You can make wreaths from other materials.

A little about security

When decorating a school, you should not forget about the most important thing: child safety. After all, the main thing is not how to decorate the classroom, but how not to harm the children. If you use paints, then you should not get carried away more than using regular gouache. Stained glass paints must be from a trusted company, without unnecessary odors.

Each attached bead, as well as the decor made from the film, must hold well so that younger students do not slip on it all. Adults or children should hang New Year's decorations for school, especially on high walls and ceilings, under supervision, because any awkward movement can lead to injury.

Stairs

There are only 4 stairs. And according to the design concept, they decided to assign each staircase its own direction of scientific thought.

  • Ladder 1 - Humanities. Russian language and literature, foreign languages.
  • Ladder 2 - Exact sciences. Mathematics, geometry, computer science.
  • Ladder 3 - Natural Sciences. Physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy.
  • Ladder 4 - Social Sciences. History, social science, law.

On each staircase there are key words from their field, as well as portraits of famous scientists and thinkers, and their quotes.
