Progress of the event:

Host: Guys! Listen to the riddle and try to guess who we will talk about today.

In a sheepskin coat with a red sash and with a wonderful bag, he always goes on a hike on New Year's Eve. To celebrate the holiday with us, To make the children rejoice. Who is this, that’s the question? Well, of course... (Santa Claus) (Slide 1)

- You guessed correctly.

Host: Today we will again go to visit the winter wizard Santa Claus. But first, let's talk a little about him. How many of you guys know how old Santa Claus is? Historians suggest that it is more than 2000 years old.

The image of Santa Claus has evolved over centuries and changed over time. Initially, Father Frost was considered the Elder of the North, the ruler of icy cold and blizzards. Was he kind at that time, do you think? (Slide 2)

In ancient legends, he was scary, evil and thin. The ancient Slavs imagined him in the form of a short old man with a long gray beard, running through the fields and causing bitter frosts by knocking. The old man's blow to the hut caused the logs to burst. The creature is not very kind, you won’t get gifts from such a person. And he was not called grandfather at all, but what, who remembers? Frost had several names. He was called Treskunets, Studenets, Moroz, Morozko, Moroz Ivanovich, General Moroz.

Frost is a respected creature, but also dangerous. In order not to provoke his anger, they clicked on Frost, that is, they invited him and cajoled him. We cooked oatmeal jelly. The eldest in the family went out onto the porch with a bowl and called: “Frost, frost, come drink jelly, don’t hit our oats.” They frightened children with a stern grandfather. And Frost was dressed, as you can see, differently.

By the beginning of the 20th century, Frost had a fur coat trimmed with fur, a magic staff, and a bag of gifts on his shoulders. He began to come on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve and give gifts to his family. They began to call him a kind grandfather, Father Frost, a wizard and a symbol of the New Year. And a little later, his granddaughter began to participate in the New Year’s celebration. What is her name? (Snow Maiden)

The modern Russian Father Frost wears rich fur coats and rides around his domain on three horses and in a sleigh with a motor. He loves different animals and shows them to his guests; he maintains a personal zoo. (Slide 3)

How many of you know where Grandfather Frost lives and when he was born? Officially, in 1999, the northern city in the Vologda region, located on the banks of the Sukhona River, Veliky Ustyug, was named the birthplace of the Russian Father Frost.

In September 2005, the governor of the Vologda region announced November 18 as the birthday of Father Frost, because it is on this day that real winter sets in in the Vologda region, and the Sukhona River freezes and becomes covered with ice. (Slide 4)

People in Veliky Ustyug are carefully preparing for the birthday of Father Frost. On this day the Santa Claus Post Office starts working. Here they open a special mailbox in which you can drop congratulations for the birthday person.

What other way do you think you can send a letter to Santa Claus? Modern Santa Claus is forced to keep up with the times - now he receives letters from children via the Internet by e-mail, and also blogs on social networks and communicates with his colleagues by cell phone. (Slide 5)

Postal address of Santa Claus: 162390, Russia, Vologda region, Veliky Ustyug, Santa Claus Post Office. Not a single drawing or poem sent to him goes unnoticed. (Slide 6)

Next to the post office is the city residence of Father Frost. The residence is the place of residence of the head of state. It is here that the Lord of the North makes decisions about celebrating the New Year, about his trips to cities in Russia and around the world, meets delegations, and holds press conferences. (Slide 7)

15 km from the city of Veliky Ustyug is the country residence of Father Frost - his patrimony. Votchina is land ownership, an estate. The winter wizard lives here all year round, and with him the fairy tale lives and is waiting for you to visit! Let's take a look there. (Slide 8)

Having passed through the carved gate, we see a greeting to the guests. (Slide 9) On a huge stone it is written: Our house always welcomes guests. All doors are open here. Come any day to believe in a fairy tale with all your heart.

The road to the house, the mansion of Father Frost, goes along the Path of Fairy Tales. Here guests are greeted by fairy-tale characters and asked to complete various tasks. You can’t just get to Santa Claus! And you and I will walk along this path and play a little. (Slide 10)

So, together with Lisa we walk along the “Bridge of Happiness”. (Slide 11) Here you need to make yourself happy by stamping your feet and clapping your hands. Let's complete this task: let's stomp our feet with me, clap our hands, and gain happiness.

A difficult test awaits us: “Forest exercise.” (Slide 12) Mikhailo Potapych suggests going through an obstacle course: run between swinging bags and not touch them. Both adults and children enjoy this task.

For you and me, Mikhailo Potapych came up with another exercise game : . There are different types of Christmas trees growing in the forest: tall and low, wide and thin. Listen to the rules of the game. If I say: “high,” raise your hands up; “low” – bend over, lower your arms; “wide” – spread your arms wider; “thin” - move them narrower.

Now let's play! (The presenter plays, trying to confuse the children)

Host: We played from the heart. The obstacle course has been completed. Go ahead. We approached the oak tree where the Wise Owl lives. (Slide 13) She loves to ask all sorts of riddles. And we are offered a game of attentiveness. We answer “yes” or “no”.

Game “We answer in chorus”

Is Santa Claus a cheerful old man? (Yes!) Does he like jokes and gags? (Yes!) Knows songs and riddles? (Yes!) Will he eat all your chocolates? (No!) Will he light the children's Christmas tree? (Yes!) Wearing shorts and a T-shirt? (No!) Doesn’t he age in soul? (Yes!) Will it warm us up outside? (No!) Is Santa Claus the brother of Frost? (Yes!) Are we decorating a birch tree? (No!) Is the New Year getting closer? (Yes!) Is there a Snow Maiden in Paris? (No!) Is Santa Claus bringing gifts? (Yes!) Does he drive a foreign car? (No!) Wears a cane and a hat? (No!) Sometimes he looks like his dad? (Yes!)

Presenter: We completed the task, but we have not yet passed the Fairy Tale Path. Shurshik meets us here. (Slide 14) He is not afraid of frost and lives in such a dilapidated house. Shurshik also prepared a task for us. He loves to rustle, so he came up with the game “Crumple the Newspaper.” Let's play it.

Game “Crumple the Newspaper” An unfolded newspaper is laid out on the floor in front of the players. Task: at the presenter’s signal, crumple the newspaper, trying to collect the entire sheet into a fist. The participant who completes the task the fastest wins.

Presenter: There is a Snowman on our way. (Slide 15) In the summer, he offers all guests the game “Pine Ball,” and in the winter , “Snowball.” You need to get a cone or snowball into the basket. Let's play and try to throw lumps of paper - “snowballs” - into buckets.

Game "Snowball" This game involves two pairs. The players of each pair line up at a distance of 1.5 m from each other. One child has an empty bucket in his hands. Another has lumps of paper in a bag. At a signal, two players begin to throw lumps into the bucket, their partners help, trying to catch them. The pair of players with the most snowballs in their bucket wins.

Presenter: We will meet the Months brothers on the Trail of Fairy Tales. Together with them we will warm ourselves by the fire. And in Baba Yaga’s hut you can drink tea with raspberry jam. She is quiet here, kind, and doesn’t offend anyone. (Slide 16)

So we got to the mansion of Santa Claus. The main celebrations of his birthday celebrations take place here. (Slide 17) His granddaughter, Snegurochka, comes from Kostroma to visit Grandfather. There is a special house for her with everything she needs: furnishings, outfits. (Slide 18)

On his birthday, his many relatives and colleagues come to congratulate the fabulous birthday boy: Chiskhaan - the Yakut Bull of Cold, half-man, half-bull. He wears huge bull horns. The longer the horns, the stronger the frost. The Karelian fellow Pakkaine, and Tsar Berendey from Pereslavl-Zalessky, and Yamal Yamal Iri, as well as official delegations from Vologda, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and many other cities are here. Congratulations are sent from the American Santa Claus, Joulupukki from Finland, Jul Tomten from Sweden, storyteller Mikulas from the Czech Republic, St. Nicholas from Belgium. (Slide 19)

(Slide 20)

Santa Claus invites us to attend his birthday. Let's see how this holiday goes.

(Watching the video “Santa Claus’s Birthday”) Presenter: The children are having fun visiting Santa Claus, they play, dance in circles, take part in fairy tales, and even learned a flash mob to the popular children’s song “The Little Christmas Tree is Cold in Winter.” I invite you to take part in this fun dance, repeat the movements with the guys.

(Video clip: flash mob “The Little Christmas Tree is Cold in Winter”)

Host: Everyone congratulates Grandfather Frost and expresses their wishes. What would you like to wish him? (Children's statements) You can send your congratulations and wishes by letter or email. You can send him a handmade gift. Grandfather Frost will definitely answer you.

Now let’s say goodbye to Santa Claus until the New Year and once again congratulate him on his birthday, joining in the congratulations of the song “Happy Birthday, Santa Claus!” (Video clip)

Host: Our film journey has ended. Did you like it? I think you learned a lot of new and interesting things today and had a lot of fun. I wish everyone to visit the homeland of Santa Claus someday. Where are you guys? See how Santa Claus lives, have fun and celebrate with him. Thank you for your attention.
