Dress code for a pirate party

It is not difficult to prepare a costume for such a holiday. A pirate black bandana with a drawing of the Jolly Roger, T-shirts with stripes or a vest, a black eye patch, ring earrings in the ears, a wide belt with a huge buckle and pistols, daggers, and swords attached to the belt. Party hosts should stock up on black film (sold in rolls) to quickly transform guests who did not have time to prepare a costume. In a rectangle of film we make a hole for the head. We cut the bottom with scissors in the form of a fringe. You can attach a skull and crossbones to your robe. The raincoat can be tied with a wide belt. On his head is a bandana and an eye patch. At a pirate party for children there may be additional accessories:

  • children's binoculars, toy telescopes;

  • over-the-knee boots and vests;
  • parrot - a toy attached to the shoulder;
  • Jolly Roger on armbands, ribbons, flags;
  • for the leader - a cane, a wide hat and a smoking pipe.

The eye patch is made of black tape with a circle of thicker fabric attached to it. Pirate flags can be made simply from black paper glued to a stick. A white paper appliqué in the shape of a skull and crossbones will complete the look. A wide, oversized vest is worn untucked, like a dress, with a wide bright belt or belt with a badge. Girls can wear fishnet tights and high boots. Hairstyle is a creative mess. A “golden” chain around the neck and huge hoop earrings will complete the look.

Quest plot

Traveling with friends on the cruise ship Victoria across the islands and continents of the Atlantic Ocean, you were traveling from Miami to Puerto Rico. Suddenly, the ship's radio broadcast that a big storm was approaching the liner, and all tourists were advised to spend time in their cabins. Arriving at your cabin, looking at the weather forecast and determining your location using the Internet, you notice that the storm is pushing the ship closer and closer to the center of the Bermuda Triangle. At one moment, the light in the cabin became unusually bright, and a few seconds later all the light bulbs exploded. Running out into the corridor, you met your friends. There was no one else on deck except you!

Suddenly the liner shook greatly and began to roll to the side. Having run out onto the main deck of the ship, it was discovered that the liner had crashed into a huge rock, which miraculously appeared in the middle of the ocean. With incredible speed, water began to flow into the huge hole. Without thinking twice, you pressed the emergency button to launch the rescue boat and left the liner with your friends. The chatter in the rescue boat lasted for several hours and suddenly, in an instant, everything calmed down. On the horizon, out of the fog, an old sailing ship floated towards you. The flag of this ship was blacker than night with a clearly visible skull and crossbones. No one could have imagined what a mysterious journey awaits you ahead...

Approaching close to the ship, you saw that hundreds of living skeletons were looking at you. Suddenly, one of them spoke: “My name is the Devil of the 13 Seas and I am the captain of this ship. And you are the very living people that my team of the dead have been waiting for for more than 300 years. We are inside the Bermuda Triangle and there is only one way to get out of it - to read the Kraken spell to the living and the dead at the same time, on the northern side of Bermuda. That is, only one of you alive will be of use to me. I could kill the rest, but while we're heading north to Bermuda we'll have a little fun. Now you will be divided into teams. My main assistants will give you 10 tasks for your knowledge of pirates. Those who, at the end of the journey, can read the main pirate oath encrypted in these tasks, I will accept them into my pirate crew and give them a chance to survive. The rest will go overboard. Go for it, young guys...” After completing all the quest tasks and taking the main pirate oath, all participants will be able to become a real pirate crew!
