Short skits for Victory Day on May 9 in kindergarten, ideas for numbers with video

Children can begin to get acquainted with the history of the Victory Day holiday and the traditions of May 9 by staging short skits and numbers in kindergarten. As ideas for such children's numbers, it is best to use simple performances with dances and songs. Touching poems about Victory, as well as small theatrical performances, are also suitable. Of course, children of this age are not yet ready to learn about all the terrible military operations, so at a concert in honor of May 9 in kindergarten it is better to focus on numbers about Victory Day. When preparing a thematic concert, special attention should be paid to costumes and decorations. Little actors in military uniform look very touching, and the right decorations help the audience to more deeply feel the essence of the performance.

Another important point that should be taken into account when staging skits for Victory Day with kindergarten students is their duration. There is no need to choose military-themed numbers that last more than 5-7 minutes. Kids at this age get tired quickly and it is quite possible that they will be able to forget their words by the end of the skit, thereby ruining its ending.

Blockade

Performance by the Raccoon and Cow Theater in Theater Valley

The story of Galya Zimnitskaya, who as a teenager, by the will of fate, ended up in besieged Leningrad:

“I, a fourteen-year-old girl, kept this diary during the siege of Leningrad. I really want the memory of the guys who passed away so early to remain. And I also want to answer the question once asked to me: “You are proud that you survived the blockade. Why did you survive it? Why did thousands of people die of hunger, but you remained alive?”

You can’t tell about this in a few words. That’s why I corrected my blockade diary, with children’s entries in student notebooks, without subtracting or adding anything in the events described. Maybe I will be able to at least partially answer the questions of interest to people who, fortunately, did not experience the Leningrad blockade.”

Galina Zimnitskaya's diary was provided to the Raccoons and Cows Theater by the heroine's daughter, Inna Chernomorskaya. And the artists tried to transfer it to the stage as harmoniously and delicately as possible.

Sketch for May 9 for elementary school and high school students, video

A festive concert on Victory Day is a traditional event in almost all schools in our country. But even if there is no full-fledged concert at school on May 9, primary and high school students still stage themed skits for the holiday lineup. The theme of such numbers, of course, is military. Most often, touching scenes about the Victory are chosen for productions with children. They also often stage sadder numbers about important events of the Great Patriotic War. For example, about how on June 22, 1941, Hitler’s attack on the USSR was announced. You can also prepare a performance with a staging of a military song. Touching war poems are also perfect for scenes on May 9 for elementary school and high school students. True, it is worth considering the fact that sad, “heavy” poems about the horrors of war are best left to high school students. But younger schoolchildren can read poems about Victory with their inherent childish cheerfulness.

How to build it and find yourself, your place in a new life after the war? How to forget the terrible past and come to your happiness? And is it possible - and is it necessary - to forget this past?

Short skits about soldiers on May 9 Victory Day in the House of Culture for children

On the eve of Victory Day, large-scale events are held not only in children's educational institutions, but also in cultural centers, squares and concert halls. Such festive concerts allow people to gather and all together honor the heroes of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The most honored guests of such events are, of course, veterans. Not only the hosts, but also famous guests of the festival express words of gratitude to them. And school-age children must prepare special performances for WWII participants. By and large, short scenes on May 9, for example, in a community center, performed by children are not very different from similar school productions about war and soldiers. Therefore, if you especially liked any scene from previous selections for schoolchildren, then you can safely use its plot for a concert in the cultural center.

Ideas for thematic short scenes on May 9 for children in the House of Culture

Since the level of organizing and holding concerts in cultural centers is much higher, in these conditions it is possible to stage more complex and dramatic scenes with the participation of children. For example, to involve professional actors and directors in theatrical productions, who can help little artists get used to their roles. You will find some interesting ideas for themed scenes on May 9 with the participation of children for the community center in the video below.

As long as real witnesses of those hostilities live, as long as there is room in our hearts for gratitude to veterans, as long as our children remember the great feat of their ancestors, the May 9 holiday will exist! And no matter what anyone says, our people need Victory Day no less, if not more, than any other public holiday. It doesn't just represent victory. First of all, May 9 is a holiday of memory and gratitude for a peaceful sky, for the opportunity to live, love and believe in the best. Be sure to involve children - preschoolers, primary school students, high school students and even students - in participating in themed concerts for Victory Day. Remember that history lessons should not be forgotten, and patriotic education can and should begin in kindergarten. Short sketches for May 9 about war, ordinary soldiers and the Great Victory for children are ideal for these purposes.

Girlfriends

Youth Theater on Fontanka

Production based on the book by Svetlana Alexievich “War does not have a woman’s face.” This is a confession of women who, back in 1941, dreamed of love and happiness, but stood up to defend their Motherland. The author wrote this book of memory for almost 30 years: Alexievich went from house to house, listened to and wrote down monologues. The work has been staged on the theater stage several times. In St. Petersburg, the female face of war is shown to the viewer by the Youth Theater on Fontanka.

I only saw hand-to-hand combat once, once in reality. And hundreds of times - in a dream... Whoever says that war is not scary, knows nothing about war.

Heavenly slug

Buff Theater

This story is well known to many from the film of the same name, but on the theater stage it looks excellent - lyrically, musically, spiritually.

The famous story about three war friends who “cancel” their love until the war ends was embodied in the Buff Theater. St. Petersburg composer Mark Samoilov wrote the music for the play, complementing the songs of Vasily Solovyov-Sedoy known from the film on stage.

The play “Heavenly Slug” was created more than 15 years ago, but still does not leave the repertoire and continues to enjoy the love of audiences of all ages.

And the dawns here are quiet...

"Theater Valley"

Educational theater "On Mokhovaya"

A classic of the military genre, which is filmed again and again, glorified in music, and staged on the theater stage. The play “And the Dawns Here Are Quiet...” based on the story of the same name by Boris Vasiliev is a poignant story of five women’s destinies linked by the war. This May of 1942, terrible, but still spring, will appear as a bright flash: here young girls’ voices and ringing laughter will be replaced by minutes of terrible silence and the tragedy of death.

“Five girls, there were five girls, only five” and their faithful friend, protector Fedot Vaskov are the main characters of the play, who will again talk about courage, courage, patriotism, death and love of life.

Life and destiny

MDT – Theater of Europe

“Life and Fate” is one of the best novels of Russian literature of the twentieth century. And Lev Dodin’s performance is like a movie: here the episodes seem to be edited and float on top of each other, time and space collide, many destinies, thoughts and human tragedies flash before the viewer’s eyes. This production is a reminder that there is no ideology higher or more important than “everyday human kindness.”
