A birthday is a holiday that almost every person on the planet looks forward to. Children attach much more importance to this day than adults, so it should always be special for them.
First of all, you need to understand that this day is a holiday for the child, and only then for mom and dad. Unfortunately, it very often happens that adults throw a party by inviting godparents, grandparents, or just friends. They set a luxurious table and begin to celebrate the significant day themselves, and the children are seated separately and left to their own devices.
This begs the question: how does this day differ from other holidays for a child? Answer: only gifts. But the hero of the occasion should always be the center of attention! If parents really want a holiday, then they need to arrange it so that both adults and children are together.
The most attractive part of the body
Each guest writes on his own piece of paper the part of the body that he considers the most attractive in the birthday boy (or birthday girl). Then, when all the guests think that this part of the body will only need to be kissed, the host announces the rule of the competition. And you need to take the coolest shot - a photo with this very part of the body, which is written on a piece of paper from a particular guest, and you should show your imagination. For example, if it says “neck,” you can transform into a vampire and passionately prepare to plunge into the neck of the birthday boy; if it says “hair”, you can pretend to be a hunter in ambush, peeking out from behind the bushes (the birthday boy’s hair) and so on. The photographer will certainly capture all the guests with their fantasies, and based on the results of a general vote, the most creative guest will be chosen, who will take his prize.
Decor
Thematic decoration a la “kindergarten” is ideal for birthdays and other celebrations anywhere - at home, outdoors, in a cafe. Compared to other themes, it is easy to fit within a modest budget. And it will take a little time to prepare.
But still, you need to put in a bit of effort - then the guests will definitely believe that childhood is not gone forever. Ask your friends for help; they probably have something suitable for decoration lying around.
Since this is a kindergarten, there should be plenty of decorations. We offer thematic ideas:
- a kindergarten-themed party means a lot of balloons. A variety of shapes and colors, hanging on the ceiling, lying here and there, collected in bouquets, arches and simple figures;
- make huge bright candies from corrugated paper with a surprise inside - real candies, streamers, tinsel. Hang them from the ceiling;
- You can’t do without traditional paper garlands. You can use the simplest colored paper, no frills. Triangles, circles, rings - just like in childhood. For ambiance, add candy wrappers and chewing gum inserts;
- arrange boxes or clear baskets full of toys. Place on the chairs/shelves the heroes of our childhood - Leopold, Gena, the wolf and the hare from “Well, Just Wait,” and characters from other cartoons. If you can’t find such toys, print out the pictures. Bring cars, soldiers, pyramids;
- guests will definitely want to play with a top, a frog with scissors, a rainbow spring, and a racket with a ball on a string. And also rocking horses, soap bubbles, kaleidoscopes, Rubik's cube and much more that will stir up nostalgic memories;
- Collect bright bouquets from colored paper and place them... in children's pots! Too much? Then into the sand buckets, also a fun surprise. It's great if there is a place to organize a miniature sandbox (for example, in a children's inflatable pool);
- hang jumping ropes and elastic bands on the backs of chairs, cabinet handles, etc., place a gymnastics hoop against the wall, place bright balls in a net hanging on the wall. If the kindergarten party is held outdoors, be sure to prepare several water pistols. All this can be useful for competitions and entertainment, and not just as decoration;
- decorate the wall with “children’s” drawings. Or find photos of invited friends dating back to this period for a kindergarten-themed party. It's better to do it in a roundabout way so as not to spoil the surprise. You can hang it randomly on the wall or in a row, like at an exhibition in a group. It will be possible to hold a competition “Guess who it is?”;
- organize a kindergarten living corner. But there is no need to torment real animals with temporary moving and noise. Make paper birds, fish, a hedgehog, a rabbit and a couple of hamsters;
- use positive patterns - polka dots, stripes, checkered patterns. Replace boring textiles, scatter bright pillows. It’s great if you can find several children’s educational rugs – the floor will immediately fit into a single style. And if you also “sprinkle” it with multi-colored confetti!
- It will be fun to put stylized lockers for clothes at the entrance. With bright doors, drawings of flowers and animals so that the “kid” can recognize his “wardrobe”;
- Look around the room, try to remove anything too modern. Hide large equipment/furniture behind large cardboard trees, flowers, butterflies, etc. You can draw a flower meadow, the sun, clouds - a photo zone , decoration and disguise in one bottle.
- Hang up a poster: “Dear children! Put toys back where they belong. Other guys might trip and hurt their knees by stepping on a ball or a car.” Alcohol, scattered toys and active competitions can really lead to injury, which will ruin the party. True, children in kindergarten do not yet know how to read. If you care about authenticity, draw a stand: the child puts the toy in its place - a smiling emoticon, leaves it on the floor and leaves - a sad emoticon.
Special birthday boy
The birthday boy is blindfolded. All guests are given a pen and pieces of paper. For the competition, the presenter prepares questions in advance, which he writes on sheets of paper. One by one, the host shows the guests a sheet with a written question. The question should be of the following nature: what object do you associate the birthday boy’s head with? What object are ears associated with? Legs? Eyes? Hair? And so on. Guests answer each question on a separate piece of paper, and after each question the host immediately collects the sheets with the answers, putting them in a separate pile. When all questions have been asked and answers have been received, the presenter takes turns reading a series of words related to a particular question, for example, melon, globe, basketball. The host asks the birthday boy what he thinks, which part of the birthday boy’s body or the whole body are we talking about? The birthday boy answers - the head, for example. Cheerful answers from the guests will certainly cheer up the birthday boy, and the guests too.
Invitations
Since the party is for kindergarten, hand-made invitations would be appropriate - made of colored paper, with appliqué, not too neatly painted. You can make invitation cards in the shape of a popsicle, a lollipop, a tumbler, a car, a bucket with scoops (the same or different, who gets which one).
Write the text, carefully imitating children's handwriting. You can “accidentally” make a couple of mistakes, cross it out with a pencil and write the correct letter on top. An invitation in poetic form is also on topic.
The Internet is full of invitations almost in the style of a kindergarten - with our cartoon characters, flowers, butterflies, etc. You can download templates or buy something similar.
Party in children's style "Adult matinee"
One wise man once said: “The biggest thing that surprises me in people is their constant desire in childhood to become adults faster, and when they have already become adults, they want to return to childhood again!”
Let the child living in us tell us how to have fun celebrating a birthday at home . The idea of a party is also great because it can be held at any time of the year, including winter, when we are so limited in choice. What to look for when organizing a children's themed party.
- Invitations . The item is optional. Their preparation and presentation require time and imagination. But if your inner child is not lazy, you can make bright, cheerful invitations. Children's cards are suitable, on which you write the date, time and place of the holiday. Be sure to indicate the format of the event so that guests do not forget to prepare appropriate outfits. And let everyone bring their own childhood photo, preferably a funny one.
- Decor. When celebrating a birthday at home, decorate the room with colorful inflatable balloons, streamers, rain and garlands. You can hang children's drawings on the walls. You can put vases with cookies, chewing gum and candies. Scattered toys, construction sets and cubes will add a festive atmosphere. For the background, you can use cartoons and songs from childhood. “Prostokvashino”, “Tom and Jerry”, “Well, wait a minute!” will be on topic.
- Dress code . _ For men - simple T-shirts, shorts and long light socks, for girls - light dresses and bows. But let's be realistic: not all people are relaxed enough to show off in shot shorts and a yellow clown shirt. Unfortunately, some people believe that such an outfit does not correspond to their status as a successful adult. Explain to them that this is a throwback party. Then everything was simple and carefree. How the suit fits on you was the only concern of your mother. For those who are particularly stubborn, remind us of the case of British billionaire Richard Branson. He lost the bet and for this he worked as a flight attendant for one day, wearing a red women's dress and wearing bright makeup. A truly successful person can afford to look funny and ridiculous, and he doesn’t care about the opinions of others. If this argument does not work, then prepare funny caps, bibs and false bunny ears for those who do not comply with the dress code. And give everyone pacifiers.
- Sweet table. The main dish will be semolina porridge, preferably with lumps. And, of course, a cake with several candles. And also condensed milk! And ice cream! The rest of the dishes and drinks can be quite “adult”.
- Games and entertainment at a party in children's style . No talk about politics, work or joints aching in the rain. Remember your favorite childhood pastimes or choose from the options offered online. Let me remind you of a few fun games.
Water massacre. If this happens in the courtyard of a private house or in nature during the warm season, you can arrange a shootout with water pistols.
Compliment. Two male participants take turns complimenting a girl on a given letter. The winner is the one whose vocabulary is richer.
Banks . Suitable for an outdoor party. The rules are simple. At a distance of about 10 meters, a pyramid of plastic or tin cans is built. The players' task is to break this pyramid with a large stick during the throw. This game will also be interesting for the little participants of the event, because some of the guests may come with children.
Hit the target . A popular game at weddings, a string with a pencil is attached to a man’s belt. They need to hit the neck of a bottle standing on the floor. You can't help with your hands. Only by moving the pelvis and bending the legs.
Forfeits (the game will work well when the guests have already had time to “warm up” with alcohol). Come up with fun (but not humiliating) tasks and write them on pieces of paper. Let each guest pull out one or two of these forfeits without showing them to others. Agree that every 15 or 30 minutes, each guest in turn must complete the assigned task. It's better when they do it without a reminder. So that you don’t forget, you can set a timer. Or you can write on each forfeit the exact time for its execution. For those who are too lazy to fantasize, here are fun and funny tasks for playing forfeits:
- Dance a twist without music.
- Draw a mustache for yourself and walk around with it for an hour.
- Bite your elbow. And if that doesn’t work, bite your neighbor’s elbow out of anger.
- For half an hour, announce to guests that 5 minutes have passed every 5 minutes.
- Blindfolded, touch the face of one of the guests and name who it is.
- Say a tongue twister quickly. Karl stole corals from Clara, and Clara stole a clarinet from Karl. Sasha walked along the highway and sucked on a dryer. The Greek was driving across the river, and he saw a cancer in the river. He put the Greek's hand into the river. Cancer for the hand of the Greek - DAC.
- Draw a portrait of the neighbor on the left.
- Take a photo in an erotic pose.
- Parody Chaplin, Dzhigurda or another famous person.
- Pop a balloon by sitting on it.
- Remove gum or candy from a saucer of flour without using your hands.
- Portray several emotions: fear, surprise, joy, cunning, anger, embarrassment.
- Feed the birthday boy with a spoon.
- Draw a specific animal. For example, a chimpanzee that catches fleas. It will be funnier if you “catch” fleas in your neighbor’s head and pretend to eat them.
- Make a toast in a foreign language.
- Give guests two cocktail straws and ask them to pretend to be a walrus by putting them in their mouths. When everything is done, have time to take a photo.
- With a perplexed face to one of the guests: “Why doesn’t the glue stick to the tube from the inside? It's glue!"
- Ask the birthday person to choose any of those present, and then exchange two or three items of clothing with the specified person.
- Say the letter “P” with your mouth open.
- Place the pan on your head, take the ladle and lid in your hands. Jump into a room with guests and shout: “The galaxy is in danger! I will save you!
- Write the name of one of the guests in the air. Let them guess.
- Tape a basin or large bowl to your back and shout: “Ninja Turtles go!” Stay in character for at least half an hour.
- Perform the dance of the little ducklings.
- Approach the tree and shake vigorously. At the same time, ask: “Why don’t bananas fall?”
- Depict the Large Hadron Collider.
- Show a weightlifter who can't lift the weight.
- Drink a glass of juice through a straw pierced with toothpicks.
For more excitement in the games, buy a small number of gift trinkets to give to your fastest, most dexterous and resourceful friends. Such gifts can be a washcloth, shoe polish, a whistle, a keychain, or anything!!! It’s good if these gifts are both funny and useful at the same time.
A guest clown-stripper, or a “hot biology teacher” can add some spice
Another idea for an adult party in the Kindergarten style.
Suits
Look at the kindergarten photos, you will immediately have a lot of ideas for costumes for the party. The simplest option is an outfit “in the style” of the child. For boys, short shorts, socks, sneakers and bright T-shirts. For girls - sundresses or colorful skirts with T-shirts, bright or snow-white knee socks, sandals.
Braid your hair, tie bows, apply barely noticeable makeup (if you can’t do without makeup). More costume options for a kindergarten themed party:
- the image of a winged fairy or princess in a fluffy dress, with a bow at the waist, and a cardboard crown on her head;
- a character from any famous cartoon or fairy tale (better than ours). For example, three inseparable friends in the form of... three little pigs! Or a portly man with a fragile companion - Malysh and Carlson. Have fun!
- bunnies, squirrels, foxes, butterflies ... Who else were we in kindergarten? Dickey, tail, ears - ready. You don't have to dress up like a woolen nightmare.
It will be funny if among the guests there are “absent-minded” children: a T-shirt inside out, different socks, one bow (and lost from the second braid). Make accessories for the forgetful: animal masks, caps, bibs, horn ears. They will be useful for photos, and just for the surroundings, even if everyone comes in suitable kindergarten outfits.
Birthday party for a child with adults
At first glance, a joint celebration may seem unrealistic, but everything is much simpler than one might imagine.
- Let the child invite his friends and classmates whom he wanted to see at his jam day.
— Make a themed party with the characters of your child’s favorite heroes. This move will delight not only children, but also adults.
— It’s better to abandon the traditionally set table and do everything in the form of a buffet table. It should consist of light snacks and sweets.
— At a children's party there is no place for alcoholic drinks; it is better to leave them for “adult” holidays. You shouldn’t set a bad example for kids so that they don’t associate the celebration with alcohol.
— Nowadays they often invite animators to birthday parties; they will turn the evening into a fairy tale. If this is not possible, then the host of the holiday should be one of the adults who can organize competitions and quizzes.
— It is better to postpone opening gifts until the end of the holiday, because new toys can completely capture the toddler’s attention and then he will no longer have time for guests.
