People all over the world called for the hero's help, but he did not come. And not because he’s already 80, he’s just fictional

Dream birthday: decorated in Batman style

Superheroes from comics and TV series are not just cartoon characters for a child. They are real to him. Moreover, children perceive screen characters as close friends. The child believes: Batman is capable of saving not only the world, but also protecting it from troubles and adversity. It is not surprising that on his birthday the hero of the occasion wants to see his protector nearby.

Is it so difficult to organize a holiday in the spirit of Gotham City? Definitely not! This does not require large funds. There is no need to order expensive plastic character figures or complex accessories. Everything you need can be made from balloons.

Aerodesign is the art of creating masterpieces from things available to everyone. Batman balloons are perfect for creating the right atmosphere. They are used to make both the figure of the superhero himself and his accessories. On the surface of large balls it is indicated:

  • name of the hero of the occasion;
  • wishes from friends, relatives.

The secrets of creating the Gotham environment lie not only in the skill of aerodesign specialists. From the balls they create a believable figure of a man-bat. It is also necessary to indicate a suitable color scheme. Batman made of balloons is decorated in a recognizable gray-black-yellow color scheme, well known to all fans of the famous comic book.

Scenery

Themed design in the style of superheroes will not break the budget, but it will require painstaking effort. Many of the attributes are easy to make with your own hands. Something can be collected from friends or purchased in stores for children. Disposable superhero-themed tableware and decor are sold in party supplies departments.

We offer several ideas for decorating the hall:

  • hang a warning sign at the entrance: “Please do not fly around the hall, do not use the freezer, do not walk through the walls (etc.). Separately, we ask residents of the Marvel and DS universes to measure the length of their swords on the street";

If you don’t want to see “aliens” from another universe at your party, don’t forget to warn your guests. Indicate in the invitation that superhero costume choices are limited to Marvel characters only or DC characters only.

  • buy colorful balls. Cut out masks, emblems, villainous faces, and cloaks from paper and glue them onto the balls. Little ones are delighted by the “walking” balls with weights at the bottom;
  • make garlands from old Marvel/DS comics to decorate the ceiling and walls. If there are not enough comics, collect garlands like comics-colored paper-comics. Thematic clippings, emblems, etc. can be glued to the paper parts;

It’s great if you have time to “build” the city – you’ll get a great photo zone! It’s easy to make a city with your own hands from boxes of different sizes - paint or glue “windows and doors”. Or draw on several sheets of whatman paper, buy children's photo wallpaper, and sew fabric houses to a large piece of fabric.

  • place figures of Spider-Man, Joker, Captain America, etc. here and there. There are plenty of them lying around in toy boxes - borrow from friends. Cut out “clouds” from paper, like for text in comics. Come up with funny phrases and attach “clouds” to the figures with wire.
  • For a superhero themed party, posters and playbills will come in handy. Or you can print out the most epic scenes and replace the faces of the characters with photographs of friends (glue them on top or use FS). The result will be a fun and unexpected wall decor, especially if you know in advance who will come in what costume;

  • make voluminous fake dumbbells, swords, barbells, etc. from foam plastic or cardboard. Such attributes will add ambience to memorable photos: superhero friends invited to the party will probably have fun, holding “pound” weights and “heavy” barbells as if they really have superpower;
  • if you are having a party for adults and planning a disco, use luminous decor in the design: lava lamps, electric garlands, neon sticks and bracelets, luminescent paint. Of course, they will also decorate a holiday for children-superheroes. But these decorations will be especially impressive in semi-darkness.

Themed invitation cards, flyers and tickets can be printed - there are dozens of interesting options on the Internet: secret messages only for superheroes, invitations in the style of “Take a break, the world will wait.” You need to rest too!”, stylized posters with windows for text. Or make cards in the shape of recognizable emblems, masks and other paraphernalia.

Invitations for children's holiday

Preparations for a superhero party need to start early. In order to make the birthday boy's friends look forward to the upcoming holiday with interest, the invitations should be complex. We suggest cutting out a bat from black paper, like on the Batman emblem. Its wings must be folded to form an improvised envelope. Include an invitation printed or written on yellow paper in the envelope. Invitation text: “My young friend, Gotham needs your help. I’m waiting for you (date, time) at the appointed place (address). The city needs heroes. Your Batman." Having received such an invitation, the child will look forward to his friend's upcoming birthday.

Indescribable delight

Sparky shared how she was completely exhausted from work and actually completely forgot about her birthday.

However, she was completely shocked to find that instead of the expected quiet dinner, she was thrown a party with friends and vintage Batman decorations.

All the guests dressed up in Batman style and had a lot of fun. The girl admitted that she secretly hoped that someone would throw her a superhero-themed party in the future. And now her wish came true.

There was an incredibly well put together Batman themed carnival that included some fun activities.

Sparky told Newsweek in an interview that this isn't the first time her boyfriend has organized a themed party for her. He used to throw her a Star Wars themed birthday party, but not on the scale of the Batman carnival fiesta.

Summon Joker Batarang

“This birthday was truly special. My boyfriend really knows how to go all out at parties! He told me that he spent weeks planning and preparing for this surprise,” the girl told Newsweek.

“I think my favorite part was the Joker Batarang challenge. This man built the Pinwheel of Justice!,” Sparky tweeted. She emphasized several times that that day was special for her. The green balloons were filled with "Joker gas". The guy 3D printed different types of batarangs, even Nightwing.

“So much went into this party. I didn't believe that I could feel like a child again. This surprise seriously healed my soul. I am so lucky to have such a great man in my life who makes me feel like a hero. After such a surprise, our relationship became even stronger. And now I know for sure that Batman is for everyone."

Games and competitions

Mister Freeze Dancing

Batman: One of my enemies is the villain Mr. Freeze. He has a freeze cannon. But today he's throwing a dance party!

Play some fun music for the children. While it sounds, the children dance. As soon as the music stops, they should freeze. To make the game more interesting, give a new task for the freezing pose each time.

Batman Questions

Batman: Let's figure out which of you is a real Batman fan. I will ask you questions, and the one who knows me best will win.

* The city I live in? (Gotham).

*What color is my suit? (Black).

* Where do I live? (Batcave).

*Primary means of transportation? (Batmobile).

*What is the name of my worst enemy? (Joker).

* What animal is depicted on my costume? (Bat).

The most dexterous and strong

Batman: I would like to know which of you is the strongest and most agile.

Ten cups are placed in a row; you need to pass across them without touching any of them. Then together with the children we make a pyramid of cups, we need to jump over it. The winner is the one who does not touch a single glass.

Bowling

Batman: Let's see how accurate you are.

A line is marked with a rope, and plastic bottles or children's skittles are placed behind the line. From a certain distance, children roll the ball towards the skittles. The participant who knocks down the most pins wins.

Batman phone

Batman: Sometimes I really need to convey important messages to my friends. Can you help me with this?

The participants sit in a row, and Batman quietly says a word into the ear of the first in the chain, and he passes it on to the other player in exactly the same way. The last participant says what he heard.

Costumes for the holiday

First of all, take care of the costume for the main character. The easiest option is to rent such a suit. If this is not possible, make it yourself. The superhero needs to be dressed in black trousers and golf. Make a patch of yellow fabric in the shape of a bat on the golf shirt in the chest area. The raincoat can be sewn from a piece of black fabric. But you will have to work hard on the mask. It is not so difficult to cut it out of cardboard and paint it with black paint.

Don't forget about costumes for kids. They will also be interested in wearing black capes and bat masks.

Room decor

Buy Batman themed plates and glasses. If you couldn't find similar dishes, don't worry. Black or yellow dishes are fine. It can be decorated with superhero stickers. Decorate the room with white, yellow and black balloons. You can make an arch out of these balls and use it for a photo shoot. Hang a serpentine on the walls, along the edges of which attach small black mice.

Place a card with the child’s name next to each plate, so the children will understand how to sit.

DC Announcements: Medieval Batman and Big Villains Birthday

Dark and Chivalrous November DC Comics.

for Game of Thrones : expected and not so expected. First, George R.R. Martin is dodging The Winds of Winter again and working on a new comic book, Voyaging. Second – DC announces a series in the style of cult novels!

“DARK KNIGHTS OF STEEL #1” is a limited edition of 12 issues, where, in a fantasy medieval setting, we will see Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Black Lightning and many other familiar characters.

In addition to Game of Thrones, sources of inspiration include The Lord of the Rings, The Saga of the Spear, and the works of Terry Pratchett.

The medieval world will be changed forever when a spaceship from a doomed planet crashes into it. Monarchs will fall, kingdoms will rise, and what for many was the end of the world... will only be the beginning!

The series will be written by Tom Taylor , who has proven himself in the mass destruction of heroes in the Injustice and DCeased comics. The drawing will be done by artist Yasmin Putri , who previously worked on illustrations for Magic the Gathering, Legend of the Five Rings.

Do you think the heroes will have to suffer in a cruel medieval world or will Taylor be more merciful this time? The first issue will be released on November 2.

From the knights we move to impenetrable darkness. Meet BATMAN: ONE DARK KNIGHT, a series of 3 oversized issues for the Black label.

As the streets of Gotham swelter, Batman plans to escort a police convoy guarding the dangerous supervillain EMP. But the transport of a criminal to Blackgate Prison goes out of control - due to the electrical forces of the EMP, all of Gotham is left without light. Now the wounded Batman must fight his way through a city plunged into darkness, dragging the villain behind him. But the dark corners of Gotham hold many surprises... as well as the shocking powers of an EMP!

It would seem that even Greg Land could portray a completely darkened Gotham, but Jock , as well as the script. This means we can expect a lot of energetic fights and dynamic reversals. The release date of the first issue is December 7.

Something begins, and something ends: in November, the Fear state bat-event will come to an end, and with it, Scarecrow's reign of terror. Can Batman figure out the plan before it's too late? And what will be the consequences of this battle? Look for answers to these questions, as well as information about the consequences of the event for the Dark Knight and his family, in the epilogue of the event - BATMAN: FEAR STATE: OMEGA #1.

The Reign of Fear is ended, and Gotham faces a new dawn... without Batman. But even during the Dark Knight's absence, the city will still have defenders. Join James Tynion IV and Riccardo Federici to see the end of this story and a new status quo that will reverberate throughout the DC Universe!

We are waiting for changes in Gotham on November 30th.

If you're tired of the over-concentration of Batman in DC Comics, but still love stories about Gotham, pay attention to the new mini-series about the pupils of Bruce Wayne - ROBINS from Tim Seeley and Baldemar Rivas .

The five heroes who wore the Robin cape came together to discuss the most important question: was their decision to become Robin the right one? However, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown and Damien Wayne are suddenly confronted by a stranger calling herself the first Robin - she is eager to prove that none of the five were worthy of training under Batman.

If you think this is fan fiction in the spirit of the Three Jokers, then you don't think so. The idea for the series won The Round Robin Fan Tournament, a tournament where fans voted on what they thought was the best pitch for a new comic series. By the way, the word “robin” in the name is just a random play on words; in fact, it is an established name for a round-robin system.

The first of six issues will be released on November 16th.

But the next comic about Robin already looks more promising. ROBIN & BATMAN - a maxi-series of 3 issues from the star duo Jeff Lemire (he already explored the theme of “an orphan and his stern adoptive father” in the “Sweet tooth” series) and Dustin Nguyen (a master of amazing watercolor painting, who has already worked with Lemire on sai -fi comic "Descender"). The comic will tell about the times when the canonical first Robin was just beginning his superhero career under the wing of Batman.

The story of Batman and Robin has become truly legendary: the crime-fighting duo is always one step ahead of the villains and never backs down from obstacles. But that's not the story. This is the story of young Dick Grayson, who has recently lost his parents and is trying to find a place in a strange, dark, cruel new world...

The first issue about the star duo from the star duo will be available on November 9.

Another Batman-related storyline will also end in November. BATMAN 2021 ANNUAL #1 will contain the conclusion of the Ghost-Maker story that unfolded in additional stories in Batman #107-111.
