Yes, he will be the one who will need to make a face and make characteristic gestures while the second character, who plays the role of a person, takes a selfie.
Then we display all these frames on the screen of a computer, laptop or TV. So, have fun twice.
Banana "Time Capsule" - That's it!
We hand each guest one by one a beautiful piece of paper and a pen on which he will write a public promise for the next year. He will write and voice it out in front of everyone: “I promise in the new year...”
A capsule can be a box or a bottle, that’s not the point. I will publicly promise to lose 5 kg. I hope that my daughter will promise to use her time productively, and my son will assure everyone that he will start doing 10 push-ups. Something like this. Of course, you can laugh it off, but the action itself makes guests think.
Angry monkey banana – 5
This is a “live” version of the famous game, only we will not have a bird flying, but a soft monkey.
A total of 5 people are needed. Two hold the ends of an ordinary underwear elastic band 1 m long or a little more. The other two participants will compete to hit the target alternately. Our target will be the 5th participant. A soft toy will fly at him, and he will hand it back to the competition participants.
We put the monkey on the elastic band, pull it back, aim, shoot! I think there is no need for unnecessary explanations here. We'll give everyone 5 attempts.

Banana “Dance with Banana” - That's it!
On the one hand, it would be nice to use a monkey mask or a hat, but guests don’t always want to spoil their hair, so we use a banana as a transitional prop.
Place all the guests in a circle, the leader has a banana in his hands. He shows everyone the movements, and after a few musical phrases passes them on to someone else. This particular music is not fast, the movements are easy to repeat even for small children. "Awimbawe" was liked by Marcel's monkey from the comedy "Friends".
When I get a passing banana, I line everyone up and lead them around the apartment. Mixing with kids turns out funny, since their hands do not always reach the waist of the previous person.

Banana "Grad" - All children!
There are times when you need to prepare a surprise for the children, and distract them all for a few minutes in another room.
This is what I came up with this time. Prepare ice balls with a small plastic toy inside a day before the holiday. Let's call it "hail from the planet of the Apes." I think a lot of monkey keychains will be sold soon - just right. We place the toy in a ball, fill it with water (to do this I pull the ball onto the tap), tie it tightly and put it in the freezer.
Before the start of the holiday, we peel off the rubber casing from the “hailstones” and keep it in the freezer or on the balcony (if the temperature is below zero) until the right moment on one large tray. Looks impressive, by the way!
You need as many balls as there are children, so that they all go to the bathroom or kitchen to defrost their hailstones under running water and get the toys that are frozen inside. In the picture as an example there is a dinosaur, and we put a monkey.

This is a standard, but always funny entertainment when guests need to come up with 20 adjectives, which are then inserted into a pre-prepared text.

Who knows which breed of monkey is the largest? Which ones are the smallest? Gorilla and Marmoset. So... We ask the BIGGEST and the smallest guest for a fun dance. We make their portrait and give gifts. Our tallest is Grandfather Vova. The smallest is 10-month-old baby Romka. We will celebrate them!

Who knows why in Japan exactly three monkeys show the Buddhist idea “If I do not see evil, do not hear about evil and do not say anything about it, then I am protected from it”?
In Japanese, “I see nothing, I hear nothing, I won’t tell anyone anything” sounds like “mizaru, kikazaru, ivazaru.” So the ending “zaru” is consonant with the word “monkey”.
The competition consists of 3 parts, 3 guests participate. Everyone gets a prize for guessing, naturally. Here I’m playing a little monkey with the game “Crocodile”, but this year monkeying is not prohibited.
1. I don't see anything. The guest stands with his back turned, we ask him to guess the object that everyone else sees, and he asks leading questions: “Is this edible?”, “Is this red,” etc., until he guesses. Based on experience, it takes a long time to guess the glass ball for the Christmas tree, calendar and construction set.
2. I don’t hear anything. We show the object only to guests behind the person’s back, and again he himself does not see the object, but sees everyone else. The guests “describe” the object with their movements (he doesn’t hear), he guesses out loud. Let these be notes (guests begin to imitate playing musical instruments, a conductor, etc.), but we are talking about notes printed on paper.
3. I won’t tell anyone anything. Vice versa. The presenter in the picture shows the word only to the player, and he tries to convey the essence to the guests with his movements. It’s good to guess the phrase “New Year”.
Banana “So groovy” - All children!
We call all the children, turn on the song from the movie “Electronic”, where the monkey sings “And I’m so groovy” and tell the conditions. The presenter touches the nose ("turns on" the monkey) only then does it start dancing funny. Then he touches the back and turns off. All the other monkeys stand motionless until they are turned on, then freeze when the leader touches their back. By the third verse I include everyone together. This is fun, friends! It’s even a pity that the song is only for a minute. Sometimes we spin it 3 times in a row.

Oh, everyone always likes personal predictions, that’s absolutely true!
Sometimes I put bags with souvenirs and fortunes on a plate, the guests are seated in different places, so everything turns out really spontaneously. Sometimes a little son wearing a mask of the symbol of the year comes out with a bag and invites each guest to take out the bag in turn. This year I’ll buy him a monkey mask or even a costume... I buy the most inexpensive souvenirs at the nearest supermarket, and only then come up with wishes and predictions. I wrap each item in a plain napkin or crepe paper and tie it with a ribbon. There I put a piece of paper with text that each guest reads out loud.
Here's what I bought this year, as an example I give predictions:
Goldfish (in my case, a children's plastic flashing pendant around the neck) - 3 big wishes will come true in the new year. Just be careful, think about what is really important to you. And stop on time!
