Original, sincere congratulations on Animal Day in verse, prose, history and traditions of the holiday, pictures

Congratulations on World Animal Day and we wish you to be a sympathetic and kind person, to be sincere, humane, caring and generous, to protect our younger brothers in every possible way, take care of them and love them, because animals make our world brighter, happier and more fun.

World Animal Day 2021: beautiful, heartfelt congratulations

In 1931, conservationists and their supporters gathered at an international congress in Florence, Italy, and decided, among other issues, to establish World Animal Day on October 4th. Everyone liked this idea, and this is confirmed by the fact that in 2008, various promotions and events dedicated to animals were held on this day in 66 countries. The date of the holiday was not chosen by chance. On this day, Catholics honor the memory of St. Francis of Assisi, who is known among them as the patron saint of animals. And members of the International Society for the Protection of Animals and their followers are trying to reach the consciousness of every person, then our little brothers will be safe. Every third Russian family quite legally celebrates this holiday because they have a beloved pet in the house.

Beautiful, very sincere congratulations on Animal Day in prose (in your own words)

Happy World Animal Day. May our beloved animals bring us joy, peace, tenderness and kindness. I wish you to sincerely love animals, take care of them whenever possible, and take care of them. And in return they will give us healthy nature and their love.

Today is World Animal Day. May our little brothers always be under our protection and care, may they not end up in the Red Book from year to year, may the fauna develop and prosper, may our pets give us love and tenderness.

Happy World Animal Day and I would like to wish that our beloved pets make us happy every day and fill our hearts with love. I wish that the fauna of the whole world lives according to the laws of justice of the jungle, that both wild and domestic animals are healthy, full of strength and energy, natural beauty and grace.

Let cute little animals make us happy and bring us incredible emotions with just their appearance. May all fauna on the planet be healthy, may nature work for the benefit of the entire animal world. Let concern for our little brothers always live in our hearts.

Happy World Animal Day. I wish you to love the animal world, from small bugs to large hippos, I wish you to see something interesting and beautiful in each of the animals. I wish you to jump for joy like a cheerful kangaroo, I wish you to grab luck by the tail with a toothy crocodile!

Congratulations on World Animal Day and from the bottom of my heart I wish you the most sincere, warm love for your dear pet. May your heart never be callous towards homeless animals. Let your family and friends' favorites play with you cheerfully and carefree! And remember: hold your tail like a pistol and purr more often.

Happy World Animal Day. I wish that in your life there will always be a four-legged, and maybe a creeping, and maybe a flying friend who will wait for you at home and warm you with his love. Let the animal world open for you the boundaries of courage, self-confidence, determination and diversity in life.

Happy World Animal Day. Let our cute pets delight us and adore us, give us their warmth and affection, and let wild animals fill this world with beauty and grace, inspire us and set an example of courage. I wish to be a purring cat at home, a predatory shark in the hunt for luck and a lively tiger in the pursuit of success.

Man, as the only intelligent inhabitant of the planet, is responsible to other living beings. World Animal Day reminds us of this. In 2021, the holiday is celebrated in Russia and other countries

In the world of high technology, there are no more helpless creatures than animals: wild or domestic - their lives largely depend on humans, their activities and unceremonious invasion of nature. Animal Protection Day is intended to remind us of the responsibility we bear for other inhabitants of the planet.

In many countries around the world, important issues are being actively raised, such as the preservation of endangered species, the suppression of cruelty towards pets, a humane solution to the problem of stray animals, and improving conditions in zoos, nurseries and shelters.

World Animal Day embraces all living things and the unique challenges of each species. This holiday is multinational - love and respect for our smaller brothers does not depend on age, gender, skin color, ethnographic characteristics and religious affiliation.

Happy World Animal Day. I wish to be a sympathetic and kind person, I wish to be sincere and generous, to protect our younger brothers in every possible way, to take care of them and love them, because animals make our world brighter, more joyful and more fun.

Extracurricular event for primary school for Animal Day

Summary of an extracurricular event for students in grades 2-3, dedicated to Animal Protection Day.
Author: Mitrakhovich Angela Lvovna. Description: in order to introduce primary school age students to interesting calendar dates and draw attention to the animal world, 4th grade students (members of the EKOSH squad) conduct extracurricular activities with children in 2-3 grades. This scenario will be of interest to primary school teachers and out-of-school workers who are involved in environmental education and education of schoolchildren. Its fragments can be used at various events throughout the year. Goal: to attract students’ attention to the calendar date “World Animal Day”. Objectives: -to expand students’ understanding of the diversity of the animal world; -develop the cognitive interest of schoolchildren; - to cultivate a humane attitude towards the living world. Equipment: magnetic letters, puzzles, exhibition of drawings depicting animals. Presenters: 3 students of the EKOSH squad (4th grade)

Content. Student 1. Hello, guys. You can guess who the main character of our event is if you put these letters in the correct order: Zhonivtees (animals) Student 2. Today we will talk about animals. We have already said hello, but imagine and show how donkeys could greet each other; giraffes; elephants; butterflies; flies; crocodiles. Thanks, that was funny. Student 3. World Animal Day is celebrated annually on October 4th. It was established at the International Congress of Nature Supporters, held in 1931 in Florence (Italy), and was established with the aim of increasing people's awareness of the need to protect the environment and increase activity in animal protection. Student 1. The date October 4 was chosen because this day is known as the day of remembrance of the Catholic Saint Francis of Assisi, who is considered the patron saint of animals. Animal protection societies in many countries around the world annually organize a variety of public events and promotions dedicated to the Day. Student 2. Moreover, this concerns the protection of not only wild animals, but also domestic ones, since examples of cruelty to them have become more and more numerous in recent years. In many countries, pets are considered part of the family and have the same rights as other family members. Student 3. Today we will talk about wild animals. You will learn interesting facts from the life of animals, solve puzzles, and play games. Student 1. The Russian word “animal” is derived from the word “belly,” which in the past meant “life, property.” In everyday life, the terms “wild animals” and “domestic animals” often mean only mammals or four-legged land vertebrates (mammals, reptiles and amphibians). However, in the scientific sense, animals include a huge variety of other organisms: fish, birds, insects, arachnids, mollusks, starfish, worms and others. Student 2. The animal world is very diverse. And you probably know the names of many animals. Let's have a zoological relay race.
You will name one animal at a time, and each new word begins with the letter with which the previous word ended (for example, owl - Anaconda - Stork) Student 3. Many animals are placed on the coats of arms of various cities. What animal is on the coat of arms of our village? (a lion)

Sometimes the name of the city is associated with the name of the animal that is depicted on the coat of arms. Try to guess which animal is depicted on the coats of arms of the following cities: Lviv (lion), Volkovysk (wolf), Kursk (partridge), Orel (eagle), Gus-Khrustalny (goose). Student 1. Now let’s solve the puzzles. We remind you: if there is a comma before the picture, we remove the first letter in the word, if after the picture, we remove the last one. How many commas, so many letters, we remove.

Student 2. The fox is the animal about which they say that it mouses. In winter, the fox most often hunts voles. How interesting she does it! If a red-haired cunning creature smells a mouse in some place, it very quietly creeps up to it, and then jumps up and hits the ground with its paws. Hearing loud sounds and not understanding what is happening, the frightened mice jump out of the hole with great horror. And that’s all the cheat needs! It is very difficult for mice to escape from the dexterous fox and its sharp teeth. There is another trick - a fox can lie in front of its victim's hole for hours, cleverly pretending to be dead. The mice, believing that the fox is dead, lose their vigilance and easily fall for this trick...

Student 3. If you are a mosquito, midge or other small insect, then the dragonfly is a real nightmare for you. After all, dragonflies don't just stalk their prey. They track a moving object, setting up aerial ambushes and hovering in the air for a long time, and from there they attack their target. Dragonflies have very sharp jaws. While hunting, dragonflies catch prey and tear off the wings with their teeth so that the victim cannot fly away.

Student 1. Tigers prefer to hunt large prey from ambush. If you look a tiger in the eyes, it is unlikely to attack, as the element of surprise will be lost. In India, many people traditionally wear masks on the back of their heads while walking in the forest to prevent attacks from behind.

Student 2. Storks sleep standing on one leg, and they change legs without waking up. Storks communicate with each other by hissing and clicking their beaks, since they cannot “pronounce” any sounds other than a quiet squeak due to the peculiarities of their structure.

Student 3. Most butterflies have quite beautiful and varied patterns on their wings. These patterns are designed for camouflage, so predators such as birds cannot tell where the butterflies are hiding. Student 1. Listen to the riddle letter and try to guess who it is about. I will read it in parts, and you put forward your versions. "Hello guys. Guess who I am. I love nuts, acorns, mushrooms, raspberries, blueberries, blueberries, lingonberries, rowan berries and viburnum. I will not refuse chicks, small animals, ants and, of course, fish. This is how I hunt for ants: I stick my tongue into an anthill and wait for the ants to stick around it. I swallow them all en masse. I am an avid fisherman and can sit on the river bank for hours. The paw is raised in anticipation of the fish. As soon as I notice a fish, I deftly and accurately hit it with my strong paw, pull it out of the water and feast on it. (bear).

Student 2. Surely you know a lot of poems and fairy tales where the main characters are animals. Finish the poem in rhyme (in chorus): Here is a snowdrift. -What's inside? -If you want, Look! - The little bunny looked, And in the snowdrift (- bear!) G. Novitskaya

Student 3. They carry the hare by the ears to the drum. The hare grumbles: “I won’t drum!” No mood, No environment, No preparation, I don’t see (carrots.) V. Berestov

Student 1. Dad is a fox, fox is mom, their house is a hole, not a pit. It's dark and cramped there, But the fox cubs are always frolicking in safety, The kids have no one to fear. If the kids are scared, they will quickly hide (in a hole.) S. Kurdyukov

Student 2 The sun was warm in the park, the squirrel was sitting on a branch. We fed her by hand, - Squirrel is our fluffy (friend!) O. Denisova

Student 3. A hedgehog walks along the path looking for mushrooms without a basket, but why does he need a basket, if there are needles (the back?) O. Malinovskaya

Student 1 Elk with a long-legged elk, Legs longer than many, A windbreak for the elk kingdom, Fly agaric (medicine.) M. Babenko

Student 2. Anagram words are written on the board. Rearrange the letters to get the names of the animals. jar (boar) string (kite) marriage (crab) flock (stork) Student 3. Animals can also be found in proverbs. Do you know such proverbs? We will offer you ours, and you can guess which animal we missed. Student 1 To be afraid of him, don’t go into the forest. (wolf) Student 2. Place her at the table - she and her feet are on the table. (pig) Student 3. She alone does not make spring. (swallow) Student 1. She is rotting from the head down. (fish) Student 2. To live with them is to howl like a wolf. (by wolves) Student 3. Even a tuft of fur from her lousy one. (sheep) Student 1. They don’t feed him fables. (nightingale) Student 2. She smells whose meat she has eaten. (cat) Student 3. Whose one would moo, and yours would be silent. (cow) Student 1. At the end of our event, we will play a “yes-no” game, which will show how you have learned our information. If you agree with the statement, clap your hands; if not, sit quietly. 1. Is crucian carp an animal? (yes) 2. Is a dragonfly an animal? (yes) 3. Is a snake an animal? (yes) 1. Is a sparrow an animal? (yes) 2. Is a hare an animal? (yes) 3. Is a fly an animal? (yes) 1. Does the bear mouse? (no) 2. Does the fox mouse? (yes) 3. Is fly agaric a medicine for moose? (yes) 1. is there a tiger on the Parich coat of arms? (no) 2. Is there a lion on the Parich coat of arms? (yes) Student 1. Our meeting has come to an end. We invite you to draw any animal that you would like to take care of and listen to the following lines that we have composed: Take care of animals - they are a miracle of nature. And let the care for them grow year by year. Let it not be a beast, but a man, who lives in your souls. And let the animals live for centuries. Until next time.

Original congratulations for Animal Day 2021 in verse

We are not alone on this planet, The Earth is our mother, and we are her children, Animals are also our family, They are little brothers, friends of people, So let the birds sing everywhere, And animals live peacefully nearby, And so that they do not disappear from the Earth beauty, We will always protect it!

We celebrate World Animal Day, And we congratulate all our little brothers, We wish the owners happiness and goodness, So that your animals always make you happy. We love animals very, very much, They are only like that for us - alone. We will take care of them, and always love them, cherish them, groom them, water them, feed them.

Love for animals is inherent in us by nature. One of the trembling stories is that simple - If only there were living creatures in the house. In modest languor waits for stroking - from muzzle to tail.

World day of recognition of the neighborhood of People, animals, affection and kindness, which we consider the best remedy for treating stress and loneliness.

So let man hurry up to give the Heat to the dearest creatures. Realizes the responsibility, which just means - To be there: from birth to departure to heaven.

Happy World Animal Day! Let harmony reign on the planet. Let people protect animals, Let everyone do good.

Let our smaller brothers, of course, also be obedient and smart. Everything will be successful for everyone if we are together.

Our younger brothers, Today is your day! We shake your paws, We give you any whim!

Take care of your ears, fur, mustache and tail, of course! Well, we are ready to give you care endlessly!

Here, World Animal Day is celebrated by the entire planet, more devoted and defenseless. After all, there are no creatures in the world.

I wish you and your tailed creatures to be in harmony, they will help you relieve stress, they will drive away pain and misfortune.

Animals make us kinder and often cause us tenderness, and there are no more loyal friends than animals that have been tamed.

Open your soul to living nature, Take care of our little brothers And, you will see, your days will become Heartier, richer and more beautiful!

Issues raised by Animal Day

The fate of homeless cats and dogs has been discussed at Animal Day since its inception (it is not without reason that the initiative to create the holiday belonged to the author of the book “Man and Dog”). And with the advent of social networks, the problem is largely being solved by ordinary people - especially in countries where there is a catastrophic shortage of animal shelters. Like in Russia, where only 412 shelters are officially registered, despite the fact that there are, according to some estimates, more than 50 million stray animals. Unethical laboratory testing is another problem that Animal Day draws attention to, despite the fact that laboratory animals have their own “personal” day, April 24.

But, of course, the main and most serious problem remains climate change and the human impact on the population of wild animals on the planet. According to a new study from the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the number of wild animals on the planet has decreased by two-thirds in the last 50 years. The experts who took part in the study studied 4.4 thousand species of vertebrates from different parts of the planet and found that from 1970 to 2021 their population decreased by approximately 68%.

Large-scale deforestation and uncontrolled consumption of natural resources mean that many organisms have no chance of survival. Three quarters of the land surface and 40% of the ocean are affected to a greater or lesser extent by human activity. But the scale with which we produce and consume food and goods will inevitably lead to the depletion of more and more natural areas (in 2019, satellites showed how forest areas the size of a football field are cut down in one minute). The study says there is still time to “halt and reverse the destruction of nature by the end of this decade,” but this requires global changes in society.

Animal Day should remind us of this and help us unite our efforts. And even if you are not yet ready to reduce your personal carbon footprint to zero, even just by sharing someone’s post or hashtag #WorldAnimalDay you are already becoming part of this movement.

Wonderful congratulations on Animal Protection Day in verse

Today I congratulate everyone on the Day of Animals and People. And again I remind you: Man is the king of animals.

And therefore I am obliged to save the Little Brothers and coexist peacefully with all of them at once!

I congratulate you on World Animal Day, I urge you to take care of our little brothers.

They don’t need much, Nature gives them life, which you and I are destroying year after year.

I ask you, people, be kinder to animals, in order to leave a living planet for children.

Today is Animal Day, Such a world day, And I will congratulate you on it, And I’m not at all lazy To tell you a couple of warm ones, To take with you to the holiday, After all, the main animals in the world are you and me!

Animals are our good friends, you can’t offend them in any way! There is only one World Day for them, We will come to them and treat them!

Take care of the animals, We care about them. Sometimes they understand better than a person, oh my.

Without animals it would be boring in this world, Little brothers bring joy to our lives! Who would wait for us faithfully in the apartment, Who would appreciate our care and work so much?

I wish all animals to live a wonderful life, so that they are loved and fed to the limit! So that the owner is the kindest and coolest, Allows you to play pranks to the limit!

Well, for those in the wild jungles and forests, I wish everyone to conclude a truce, So that no one in the forest knows what fear means, So that you can all live together in harmony!

To everyone who loves and cherishes our smaller brothers, who does not know how to hit them, who does not know how to offend them, today there are many congratulations and wishes for a bright road in a joyful, cheerful life!

Let all your pets be healthy, Cats, pigs and dogs, goats and cows, And let the animals who are without a home find food, And live well in the big, bad world!

Lesser brothers are like people - There is character, intelligence and honor. Evil and kindness will not be forgotten. Truth can be distinguished from flattery.

Adults and children are happy, The wolf is licking his cubs, The birds are rushing around the cage, The fish are joyfully silent.

The hamsters rustle barely audibly, the dog hits the floor with its tail, the mice triumph with squeaks - Animal Day has arrived.

How much harm people do, Killing animals for fun, That kindness has left the heart, And there is no justice for such people anywhere.

They are also killed for the sake of skins, And for the sake of tusks, even for the sake of feathers, For the sake of coins and green bills. Birds, fish, and animals are dying in the world.

Let us, people, protect them from bloodthirsty, evil and cruel, from very scary and deadly encounters, so that we do not live alone in the world...

We love our brothers less, But excuse me, what’s the matter? Why are they smaller than us? Someone more... We'll take everything into account!

And it’s time to say thank you to everyone, everyone, everyone. They save us from stress, although sometimes they give us problems.

Cats, birds and dogs, and then there are hamsters. Or snakes, a bunch of lizards... Does everyone need poetry?

I would like to congratulate everyone, but, perhaps, I will refrain. And I’ll go solve problems and feed the cat. A little.

Faithful, dear, beloved, Our smaller brothers, It’s good that we have you, Your merits simply cannot be counted.

A dog protects the house, a cat heals the sick, birds entertain children, fish bring joy to our eyes.

Always be nice, Sunny, cheerful, Never get sick, Warm our hearts.

How to organize an event for World Animal Day in kindergarten?

When is World Animal Day 2021?

World Pet Day, one of the holidays dedicated to our little brothers, is celebrated annually on November 30. Another holiday related to environmental protection is World Animal Protection Day (World Animal Protection Day), its date was October 4. World Stray Animals Day is also celebrated, which falls on the third Saturday of August (21 August in 2021).

How is International Animal Day celebrated?

How is the celebration going? The program of events includes animal exhibitions, charity events, flash mobs, etc. The collection of donations for the needs of animals kept in shelters is organized. Events are held in schools and other educational institutions. Zoos organize the “Bell” campaign, when children ring bells for a minute to draw attention to the problem of animal conservation.

In the UK, USA and other countries, local organizations are actively working to protect our little brothers. In European countries, stray animals are vaccinated free of charge, sterilized, and handed over to new owners. In many countries around the world, monuments to domestic animals have been erected; most of the monuments are dedicated to dogs.

Scenario for children for World Animal Day

On Animal Protection Day, as well as on World Pet Day, many children's libraries, schools and kindergartens, and additional education institutions organize various events. We offer a program of children's events dedicated to Animal Protection Day.

On the eve of it, you can hold a children’s drawing competition and a modeling lesson “My Pet,” and organize an exhibition of creative works. You can also prepare a small exhibition of illustrated books dedicated to wild animals and pets. We will tell you how you can celebrate Animal Protection Day in kindergarten.

Presenters: – Dear guys! Today we celebrate a wonderful holiday, World Animal Day. What animals do you know? Guess riddles about animals.

According to the scenario of the event on World Animal Day, children will solve riddles:

In the summer he walks without a road near the pines and birches, and in the winter he sleeps in a den, hiding his nose from the frost. (Bear).

Behind the trees and bushes, like a flame flashed. It flashed, ran... There was no smoke, no fire. (Fox).

I am gray, I live in the forest, I know a red fox. I sing a sad song, howl loudly at the moon. (Wolf).

Who threw a pine cone at the kids from the tall dark pines? And flashed through the bushes like a light through a stump? (Squirrel).

It’s easy for us to recognize him, It’s easy to recognize him: He’s tall and sees far. (Giraffe).

There is a cozy house on her back, This house serves as her shield, And although she is not afraid of heat and rain, You will not find her slower. (Turtle).

Here's another riddle: A cute horse rides children on its back, dreams of becoming big all its life. (Pony).

An event for children on Animal Protection Day will continue the story about this holiday.

Presenters: – Many animals are listed in the Red Book. Why is she called Red? Because red is a signal of impending danger. It means: pay attention, stop, look around, think about nature!

– After all, every hour on Earth 3 species of animals disappear irrevocably, every year - more than 25 thousand species of animals and plants.

– Over the past hundred years, the number of tigers in the world has decreased by 25 times. If at the beginning of the last century there were more than one hundred thousand tigers in the wild, now there are no more than five thousand.

– In addition to Amur tigers, the Far Eastern leopard, snow leopard, bison, Siberian white crane and other animals and birds are on the verge of extinction in Russia. And this is very sad!

Then the presenters will turn to the children: - Tell me, how can you and I help rare plants and animals? Children will answer: protect nature, do not kill animals or pluck plants, throw out garbage in forests and water bodies, create nature reserves.

Summarizing the answers of the kindergarten children, on Animal Protection Day you can tell them how to behave in nature: - If you come to the forest for a walk, Breathe fresh air, Run, jump and play, Just don’t forget - No tree branches break it up, remove the trash from the grass. Here you don’t need to catch everyone, stomp, clap, beat with a stick. You are just a guest in the forest, Here the owner is the pine tree and the elk. Take care of their peace, After all, they are not our enemies!

According to the scenario of the event for Animal Protection Day, children will read poems: - World Animal Day has come to us today! Let it be good for the animals of the whole planet: Let the homeless dog find Owners for himself, And let the kind Boy take a cat, Make a feeder for the birds for winter... And you, friend, will have to sprinkle grain there!

Presenters: – World Animal Day reminds us that we are responsible for those we have domesticated. Guys, do you have pets? Tell us about them. How do you take care of your pets? (Children answer).

– Strive to protect animals, They are our brothers! Strive to become a little kinder, To make this world more beautiful. Their friendship is strong and true, Animals are like people! And we need their kindness, Who will we be without kindness?

Then, according to the scenario of the children's holiday on Animal Protection Day, two children, a boy and a girl, will read M. Sadovsky’s poem “Kind Heart”.

Boy: - I once brought a puppy into the house, a homeless tramp, to feed him a little, a hungry poor fellow.

Girl: “Well,” said the mother, “let him live a little, there is such sadness in his eyes!” There is a spoon of soup...

Boy: “I then found a Kitten in the yard, barely alive, I brought it into the house too, Mom said again...

Girl: - Well, now, of course, let Him live a little, There is such sadness in his eyes! There will be a spoon of porridge...

Boy: - One day I brought a hedgehog, a snake and a turtle, and a hare ran into our door, Probably out of fear. Mom said...

Girl: - Let them live. It’s so wonderful in the apartment, And if you make room, there’s room for us too.

The program of events for children on Animal Day will continue with a conversation about pets.

Presenters: - Guys, where do you think stray animals come from? These are cats and dogs that were thrown away by their owners. Such animals are forced to obtain their own food. It is difficult for them to survive outside, especially in cold weather.

– Don’t throw animals into the street! If you have taken on the responsibility of caring for a pet, decided to raise it and be friends with it, then this is forever. You tamed it, which means you are responsible for it!

The recording of the song “Dogs can bite” will be played.

Games and competitions for children on Animal Day

On Animal Protection Day, children in kindergarten can be asked to continue the sayings:

  • Brave as... (lion).
  • Hungry as wolf).
  • Dirty like... (pig).
  • Clubfoot like... (a bear).
  • Sly as... (fox).
  • Quiet as... (mouse).
  • Puffed up like... (turkey).
  • Stubborn like... (ram).
  • Cowardly as... (hare).

Then the game “Fun Transformations” will begin. The children stand in a circle, the leader chooses one of them and says: “Turn around yourself and turn into (a bear).

The one chosen must show how an animal moves (bear, squirrel, hare, snake, wolf). Then the leader says: “Turn around yourself and turn into yourself.”

On World Animal Day, you can include physical education in the scenario of this holiday. The presenter invites the children to turn into monkeys and do fun exercises. The guys repeat his movements.

- We are funny monkeys, We play too loudly, We stomp our feet, We clap our hands. Together we will jump to the ceiling, we will raise our fingers to our temples, we will show each other our noses, we will point our hands to the sky. Let's stick out our ears, take hold of the tops of our heads, open our mouths wider, and build faces. As soon as I say the word “three,” everyone freezes their faces. One two Three!..

And at the end of Animal Protection Day in kindergarten, you can dramatize the fairy tale “Teremok” or show the children a cartoon about animals, for example, based on the work of K. Chukovsky “Doctor Aibolit”.

Congratulations on International Animal Day in verse

We take care of our little brothers, we look after, we love and caress, we prepare food, we feed endlessly, and the animals appreciate and understand this.

However, many are unable to take care: They harm animals, and this is bad. Let's protect them together. Not only on the day of protection of all animals.

Animals need to be protected, protected from evil people, after all, they are friends of you and me, it’s simply impossible to do otherwise.

You can’t offend dogs, And you can’t chase cats around the yard, For example, let’s replace mohair with fur!

Let's turn to our smaller brothers, But not at all in order to reduce anything else, But for the cause itself.

For whom protection is needed, for whom is a protective forest. For whom the law has been tested, so that it does not disappear completely.

They themselves brought nature “to the point of tsukundera” just right. What will we leave to the people? What will come after us?

How can you not love animals? I want to wish all my little brothers. So that their faces are never offended, so that they are tirelessly stroked, from good feelings in the heat.

Care! That's what we owe them. They silently believe in our goodness. I want to hold them all closer to my soul, because I can’t live without animals.

Don't pass by an animal. If it needs help, help. They are loyal, just caress them. Don’t reject the love of the four-legged! We are responsible for their lives. Whatever happens, you learn to take care. He will certainly answer you with love and will be affectionate with you all his life!

Hedgehogs, bunnies, Or majestic lions... We must be ready to take care of everyone. We are given reason and the title of sapiens for a reason. And the animals expect outside help from us.

How to cultivate love for animals?

Love for the world around us is something that parents should teach from early childhood, and then school in biology lessons. Of course, a significant part of upbringing falls on mom and dad, who are obliged to explain to the child why animals should not be offended. First of all, you need to tell your child that any aggression on the part of a person towards an animal is a manifestation of strength, but you cannot offend someone who is weaker than you. Show him an example. Feed a stray dog or cat on the street, get your own pet at home, perhaps even from a shelter. Go there with your child, and let him also take part in choosing his future pet.

history of the holiday

The idea of the holiday was first proposed by the German writer and cynologist Heinrich Zimmermann in 1925. Animal Protection Day was held in Berlin on March 24 for several years, then it was moved to October 4. The date is not accidental - it is the day of remembrance of the Catholic Saint Francis of Assisi, the founder of the Franciscan order and the patron saint of nature and animals. Legend has it that Saint Francis knew how to talk to animals, which is why many paintings and icons depict him in their company. Later, in 1931, at the Congress of World Animal Welfare Organizations, which was held in Florence, Zimmerman proposed making this day global. Since then, the number of countries taking part in the celebration has been constantly growing. Russia began celebrating this important date in 2000.

Animal Day is celebrated differently in each country.

Traditionally, on this day various events are held among schoolchildren and students: lectures, master classes, exhibitions. City residents demonstrate against cruelty to animals (this year in an online format), and charity concerts are held in favor of environmental protection funds. And scientists meet at a round table to discuss new ways to improve the environmental situation.

Museums hold exhibitions dedicated to this day. For example, on this occasion, the Darwin Museum opens an exhibition and quest dedicated to bats. And shelters and veterinary clinics organize fundraisers to help homeless pets and organize a donor day among dogs and cats. Each country has its own Animal Day website.

Somewhere (like in Russia) the initiative is “under the auspices” of commercial pet food manufacturing companies. In other countries, sites are open platforms where anyone can launch their own animal protection campaign or support an existing campaign. The main such portal today is the British website World Animal Day, which is supported by the charity Naturewatch.

Holiday traditions

Animal Protection Day is classified as an environmental day. All over the world, various charitable and educational events are held in his honor. Shelters for cats and dogs organize exhibitions where you can adopt a pet. There are thematic lessons in schools where they explain the importance of caring for our little brothers. Veterinary clinics hold open days with master classes for pet owners, talk about the features of care, feeding and treatment, and the importance of vaccination. Charitable foundations organize events aimed at raising funds to help endangered species. Some companies announce a “Bring Your Best Friend” holiday on this day, allowing employees to bring their pets.

Special events take place in zoos around the world. In Leningradskoye, for example, educational events are held where they talk about the importance of zoos for the conservation of rare and endangered species. In others, events in the lives of the inhabitants are often timed to coincide with this date - the release of cured animals into the wild, seeing off bears into hibernation, demonstrations of feeding demonstrations.

Everyone can make a contribution to improving the lives of animals. The doors of shelters are always open to those who are ready to volunteer, donate money, buy food or adopt one of their pets. The main thing is to never forget that you are responsible for those you have tamed.

Traditions and events

Celebrations on Animal Day are distinguished by a wide variety of events. On this day, many different events, demonstrations, parades, charity concerts and fairs take place. The purpose of all these events is the same - to encourage people to remember that they are not alone living on the planet. And animals have the right to a comfortable and free life no less than people.

As part of festive events, photo exhibitions are often held, which feature photographs of wild animals. People must remember that due to their economic activities, animals are deprived of their natural habitats, and some species even disappear from the face of the Earth.

We have to protect not only wild animals, but also domestic animals. In many cities there is an acute problem of stray dogs and cats. Most animals end up on the street because of the cruel attitude of people towards them, who take the animal into their home without realizing the full extent of their responsibility towards it. Having played enough with a live toy or having encountered the first difficulties, such people simply throw their pet out into the street. And there are more “vagrants” on the street.

In many cities there is a volunteer movement to help abandoned animals. On the holiday, such societies often organize events with the goal of finding a new home and loving owners for the selected animals. And also, to attract new members to the ranks of the movement and raise funds that will be used to purchase food for homeless animals and provide them with veterinary care.

Interesting Facts
