Remember your school days - another September, another talent show. And again you need to bring a craft on the theme “Golden Autumn” to class. Creative ideas for an autumn party arise on their own; all that remains is to implement them, taking into account the scale of the holiday.

Decorating your outdoor space is just the bare minimum, because Nature itself has provided colorful decorations for you. Creating an autumn atmosphere at home or in a restaurant is more difficult. But it’s even more interesting!

The big plus of this theme party is the modest budget. It’s easy to borrow a lot from friends, buy something in addition, make something from scrap materials. But there is a danger of sliding down to the kindergarten level - those cute crafts made from pine cones and plasticine.

Consider the format of the holiday. This is quite acceptable for a child's birthday. But if it’s a party for adults or an autumn ball, the decorations should be stylish, at the design level, and not “hit-and-miss and done.” We offer associative design ideas:

cereals, dried flowers, twigs with berries, physalis, fresh flowers in glasses, vases, decorated jars and other containers . Dahlias, chrysanthemums, asters, rudbeckia, gladioli;

rubber boots instead of vases . Bright multi-colored ones can simply be placed in a row along the wall. Of course, these should be clean, unworn shoes;

autumn vegetables, berries and fruits in wicker baskets, on trays, in boxes sprinkled with straw, in “grandmother’s” vases . Plastic ones can be used in compositions, pot-bellied pumpkins can be left on windowsills, and tall transparent containers can be filled with berries;

If you plan to gather outdoors, prepare several warm blankets for your guests. Take care of illumination, because it gets dark early in autumn - garlands, garden lanterns.

Soft shades, elegance, romance - an autumn theme party evokes a special, sublime and sensual mood. Having received an invitation, the guest should feel the atmosphere that awaits him at the party. Therefore, the ideal option is a laconic card, decorated with a single leaf, a miniature twig with berries or a themed print . Simple and stylish.

If this is a fun holiday for young people, the invitation conveys a completely different character of the party - bright colors, light friendly text, an abundance of decorations.

You can make a card in the shape of a leaf or put the card in a small basket with decorative fruit. Or wire a card with text to a branch, an apple (in the form of a leaf), or a miniature bouquet of dried flowers and leaves.

SERVE SPECIAL DRINKS

Take care of hot drinks - this could be warm apple cider served in the apples themselves, or mulled wine. You can set up a hot chocolate bar where guests can make their own cup of cocoa and add marshmallows to it. Even if you have standard wine and beer as drinks, you can serve them in originally designed ice buckets.

Suits

Much depends on the location of the party. For example, in a restaurant and at an autumn ball, cocktail/evening dresses in an autumn palette and men in suits are appropriate. At the dacha, loose clothing is more comfortable - simple, homely clothes. Outdoors, even in warm September, it can be cold in a dress, so a strict dress code is unlikely to please guests.

It is better to focus on the color presentation of the image . For example, choose several shades and, along with an invitation, send out an autumn palette to friends (all or part that is more suitable for the party decoration).

Appropriate makeup and jewelry are desirable: leaf earrings, a berry pendant or a miniature composition in the hair (glue to a hairpin - done!).

For young people, animators and the most daring guests - costumes in the “Queen of Autumn” style. Of course, this option is suitable for a holiday at home, in a restaurant. Although if it’s still relatively warm outside, you can change clothes after taking a few photos as a souvenir.

ADD THE FRAGRANCE OF AUTUMN TO YOUR APARTMENT

Properly selected candles will not only give your holiday a cozy atmosphere, but will also spread a special autumn aroma throughout your home. They can also be used to decorate a space, for example, by decorating them with cinnamon sticks or placing them in beans that, when heated, will emit a subtle coffee aroma. Menu, serving

Any format is suitable for an autumn party - buffet, feast, buffet. The menu is seasonal to highlight the theme. The dishes are mostly simple, almost homemade. Lots of berries, vegetables and fruits, mushrooms, lean meat . Any pickles and marinades will fit. It is advisable that your eyes widen from the variety of choice (not a bucket of salad, but a little bit of everything).

Any desserts, but “grandmother’s” ones are better - pancakes, jams, pastries, berry pies. If the party is for young people, let there be the usual pops and cupcakes, but decorated in an autumn style (cards, skirts).

Salad in the shape of a wedge leaf, acorns from olives and black olives, scraped pumpkins instead of fruit vases, umbrellas from the “lids” of sweet peppers. Upon request, autumn decoration of dishes - a lot of interesting and simple serving options.

Drinks to suit guests' tastes. To enhance the atmosphere - freshly squeezed juices and fruit cocktails, punches in deep bowls, warm drinks (cocoa, teas, mulled wine).
