We will conduct a culinary battle like an Unified State Exam. For you it will be the Unified Culinary Examination. First battle! First ECE test. Pancakes, cottage cheese, sugar, sour cream. What kind of dish is this? That's right, pancakes with cottage cheese! Come to me. Or rather, to the kitchen. Dough, cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes. What do these products make? That's right, pizza! International Chef's Day is celebrated annually.

Proper, balanced and high-quality nutrition is an important component of a healthy lifestyle, especially for preschool children. More and more attention is being paid to the issue of catering in kindergartens. After all, the future development and health of the child depends on the work of the cooks. As the chefs themselves say, “our profession, although difficult, is beloved.”

According to tradition, on this day teachers of the preschool educational institution “Kindergarten No. 200”

Leninsky district of Saratov held a competition “Unusual Lunch” in which the pupils of the second junior group won.

On this day, pupils of the middle group with their teacher visited the catering department of the kindergarten with the aim of expanding knowledge about the work of a cook and forming children’s ideas about the work of a cook, as well as cultivating a positive attitude towards work and a sense of respect for the kindergarten staff. Cook Galina Vasilievna told and showed the children what kitchen items, machines and utensils are used for cooking, and how food is processed. The children received a lot of new information and watched the process of preparing lunch for the children of our kindergarten.

The cooks patiently and thoroughly told and showed the students in the preparatory group how to roll out a bun so that it was smooth and beautiful. Of course, this turned out to be not so easy to do: the dough stuck to your hands, the buns did not want to turn out even. From their diligence, the little confectioners got dirty with flour and dough, but still everyone managed to make a bun.

The most difficult thing turned out to be waiting for the finished products. Although the children knew that the dough should be left to rest, then the buns should be baked, cooled and only then they would be brought to the group, but every now and then they asked the teachers how long to wait.

The children received a lot of new information and watched the process of preparing lunch for the children of our kindergarten.

The children thanked the cooks for their hard work and presented them with a wall newspaper with congratulations.

A casual conversation between adults and children ensures the development of children's thinking, the ability to establish simple connections and

relationships, arouses interest in the work activities of adults.

For the afternoon snack, everyone had an excellent appetite, because the baked goods turned out just “super.” Either the dough was special, or the masters turned ordinary dough into magic, but most likely the reason is that the children made them themselves, putting all their effort and skill into them. After all, everyone knows that everything that you put your hands on, that you work on with desire and love, turns out to be special.

Representatives of all professions have their own signs. And chefs are no exception. These signs are not associated with the holiday. Rather, they relate to everyday life. The most common signs include:

  1. You cannot give your knife to another chef in order to cook deliciously and make your customers happy.
  2. Do not leave an empty frying pan on the table overnight. Superstitious cooks believe that the devil can spit in the dishes.

The competition is held in a “relay race” format. Each player takes turns rolling the watermelon across the floor towards the finish line. In this case, each player can take no more than three steps at a distance, after which he needs to return to the team, thus allowing the next participant in the column to run to the watermelon. The team that manages to finish first wins.
