Competitions
Women versus men The competition participants are divided into two teams – women and men. The first team is given the task to name as many brands of cars as possible, and the second - potato dishes. The team with the most correct answers will win.
Champagne time Competitors are given a bottle of champagne, which they must open. The building is complicated by the fact that they must hide their right hand behind their back (for left-handed people - their left hand), using only their left hand. The winner is the participant who can open the bottle of champagne the fastest.
Funny forfeits To hold the competition, you need to prepare forfeits in advance with the task: sing a song, dance a dance, show an acrobatic act or trick, make a toast, tell a joke, come up with a declaration of love, etc. The number of forfeits must correspond to the number of guests of the holiday. Each guest must take off a personal item and put it in an opaque box or bag: jewelry, watch, tie, scarf, gloves. Then the presenter reads out the forfeits one by one and takes out the guests’ personal items. The one who recognizes his item must complete the task.
What to give on Housing and Public Utilities Worker's Day?
So, before the cherished day - the third Sunday in March, you should decide on a gift. To please such a person, it is enough to buy a small cake or something sweet, especially for women and young girls. A jar of coffee or champagne can complement the gift. Any female housing and communal services worker will be happy with even an ordinary bouquet of flowers, and any male utility worker will be happy with a bottle of good cognac. The janitor will be sincerely grateful, even if you don’t give him anything at all. There is simply no need to litter in the area adjacent to the house and in the entrance.

On this day, workers in the housing and public services sector gladly accept congratulations and memorable gifts from management and colleagues, family and friends, friends and grateful clients. Training seminars and business meetings aimed at exchanging experiences and improving skills, as well as festive concerts with the participation of the best artists and creative groups are held throughout the country. Particularly distinguished mechanics and drivers, technicians and engineers, fitters, elevator operators and other specialists are awarded diplomas and certificates of honor. And, of course, the high professionalism and responsibility of public utility workers are noted with gratitude by the heads of city and district administrations. After all, we are all, one way or another, consumers of their numerous services.
On March 21, congratulate your friends, colleagues or relatives who have devoted their professional lives to the housing and communal services sector and thank them for their conscientious, responsible and largely selfless work. And as an “addition” to kind words, a gift certificate to a household goods or cosmetics store, unusual chocolate or handmade cookies, or a bright box of tea or coffee would be perfect. For a modest utility worker, such a sign of attention will certainly be a pleasant surprise.
