A small congratulatory entertainment program for the Day of Cultural Workers
There are so many wonderful people who are engaged in wonderful professions, and each of them deserves a special professional holiday, even more so are those who create a holiday for us and our children every day - these are cultural workers.
It is celebrated on March 25, of course, cultural workers can organize a holiday for themselves, but it will be doubly pleasant if others do it for them. Vorobyov took part in an event dedicated to Cultural Worker Day
Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov congratulated cultural workers on the upcoming professional holiday; a solemn meeting was held in the house of the Moscow Region Government on March 24, reports the press service of the governor and the regional government.
The event was attended by members of the regional government, representatives of municipal cultural authorities, creative communities, employees of libraries, district and rural palaces of culture, specialists of cultural and leisure centers, teachers of children's music schools and art schools, museum employees, artistic directors and theater directors, workers scientific and educational institutions, representatives of public associations.
“More than 32 thousand cultural workers operate in the Moscow region. There are a large number of cultural institutions in the Moscow region, about 200 thousand children study in colleges, visit libraries, museums - this is a key component of historical, cultural and patriotic education. Today we are meeting on the eve of the holiday – Cultural Worker’s Day – and I would like to thank you all for your work!” – Andrei Vorobyov said, opening the meeting, his words are given in the material.

During the event, Andrei Vorobyov presented state awards of the Russian Federation, awards of the Moscow region and insignia of the governor to representatives of creative professions and artists.
By decree of the President of the Russian Federation, for active participation in socially significant cultural events, the honorary title “Honored Artist of the Russian Federation” was awarded to the artist of the Moscow Regional Philharmonic, member of the Public Chamber of the Moscow Region, Olga Kormukhina.
“When I started holding the Road of Good Deeds festival six years ago, I fell in love with the Moscow region. Three years ago I moved here to live. I think this is the best land in the world. Of course, the title is not given only for music. This is also a reward for the festival. I would like it not only to be called “the main brand of the Moscow region” among journalists, but also to become truly the main volunteer festival, and at the international level,” Olga Kormukhina said in response, as quoted by the press service.
For the development of domestic artistic culture and art, the honorary title “Honored Artist of the Russian Federation” was awarded to Andrei Demin, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Under his leadership, art and educational programs are conducted in schools, colleges and cultural institutions throughout the region.
By the decree of the Governor of the Moscow Region, for high professionalism, many years of fruitful activity and in connection with the Day of Cultural Worker, the leading actor of the Moscow Provincial Theater, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, Viktor Shutov, was awarded the badge “For Services to the Moscow Region”, III degree. Over 50 years of creative activity in the Moscow region, he created more than 100 artistic images on stage.
The badge of St. Sergius of Radonezh was awarded to theater and film actress, People's Artist of the RSFSR Irina Skobtseva for her services in public activities. Over her long career, she played 76 roles in films, including the famous epics “War and Peace”, “Quiet Don”, “They Fought for the Motherland”. In addition, for ten years Irina Skobtseva headed the international festival of military-patriotic films “Volokolamsk Frontier”.
“In my repertoire there is one picture that is connected with this land - this is “War and Peace”. And I thank you that today I have the opportunity to stand on this earth, I thank you for the high award that was presented to me today,” the actress’s words are quoted in the material.
Also, the Chairman of the Moscow regional branch of the Union of Artists of Russia, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Sergei Kharlamov was awarded the Badge of Sergius of Radonezh.
The honorary title “Honored Worker of Culture of the Moscow Region” was awarded to the head of the Cultural Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region, Vladimir Korotitsin, the choreographer of the folk ensemble “Kalinka” of the Pavlovo Posad House of Culture “October” Yuri Popov, the director of the Ramensk Intersettlement Library Nadezhda Potapova, teacher Larisa Yakovenko, piano class at the Korolev children's art school.
Over 100 young talents received awards from the governor of the Moscow region>>
Valery Kolbin, choirmaster of the folk music ensemble “Dmitrovskie Rozhechniki” of the house of culture “Commonwealth”, was awarded a certificate of honor from the Governor of the Moscow Region. Under his leadership, the creative team repeatedly became laureates of all-Russian and international competitions. His repertoire includes music of the 19th century and songs with instrumental accompaniment of the button accordion, balalaika, bass guitar, percussion, as well as ancient wind instruments - Vladimir horns, zhaleikas, pipes.
The gratitude of the governor of the Moscow region was announced to the gubernatorial orchestra of the center for the development of theatrical art "Moscow Provincial Theater" (chief conductor - Sergei Pashchenko) and the dance ensemble "Rosinka" of the Balashikha cultural center "Chaika" (director - Ekaterina Kozlova).
In addition, the governor’s gratitude was expressed to Professor of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Yuri Bogdanov, and head of the regional council of the Russian Union of Tourism Industry Olga Sanayeva. With her active participation, the Moscow region is included in the federal route “My Russia”.
A letter of gratitude from the governor of the Moscow region was presented to the director of cultural and leisure activities in Orekhovo-Zuevo, Viktor Muryshkin. Thanks to his efforts, the oldest cultural institution in the city was modernized, and the theater acquired a modern image.
“The cultural sector of the Moscow region is developing very dynamically. In 2021 alone, a huge number of projects were implemented. If we take museum projects, these are more than 50 major exhibitions. Our regional theaters delight residents with their premieres. In 2021, attendance increased by almost 40%, and in total more than 1.1 million residents of the Moscow region watched the performances,” Oksana Kosareva, Minister of Culture of the Moscow Region, told reporters after the end of the official part.
The head of the department emphasized that the industry creates not only a cultural, but also a comfortable environment for residents of the Moscow region.
“In 2021, ten new parks appeared in the Moscow region, and now their total number has reached 82. When we started three years ago, there were only 25. This year, 10 more parks will open in the Moscow region,” the message concludes in Kosareva’s words.
